We had a wonderful few days staying at the property. It was exactly as described in the listing and very convenient for the PATH into New York. The beds were very comfortable and the whole apartment very well equipped. Kristina was quick to respond with any questions and she allowed us an early check-in which was much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

This Jersey City home was such a treat to arrive to after a long day of flying coast to coast, especially with the proximity of its location to Newark Liberty Airport. We arrived with my elderly parents and my 10 year old twins in tow so I was grateful to see that this brownstone was very spacious, clean, comfortable and nestled away in a safe neighborhood. The space between rooms is ample, even with the Murphy bed in the living room. It is equipped and supplied with all the basic things you need to function in all rooms. Everything you need for groceries, pharmaceuticals, beauty/hygiene and dining is all within 2-15 mins walking distance. The apartment has a cart and reusable bags available for any shopping trips you may need to make. We never had any issues getting anything we needed, the neighborhoods were all great to walk through morning, afternoon and evening.
My elderly parents and young twins easily accessed the PATH within 8-10 minutes. After long days in NYC we always enjoyed coming back to the low key neighborhood to enjoy Van Vorst Park with our kids. We were able to get to Liberty State Park and enjoy the many sights and things to do there within 8-10 minutes by Uber or Lyft.
We are more than pleased to have called this our temporary home for 8 days and 7 nights. We can’t say enough about the peace of mind we had knowing we were in a safe neighborhood in a secure building and unit. We will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back!

Lovely Apartment. My family from overseas stayed for my daughters wedding weekend and it was perfect!

This is a stunning home. The architectural details are beautiful. The hosts added touches were very much appreciated. Easy walk to car park, and ferry to New York. A wonderful find.

Is it as cozy and elegant as it looks in the pictures? Yes, definitely. But isn't it worn out? No, not at all. And it has everything, really everything you need: save space in your suitcase because the washing machine and dryer are of very good quality. A large fridge with a large freezer compartment, stove, oven, microwave and a dishwasher make preparing meals easy. And the PATH line ride to NYC is no longer than a subway ride there. We were traveling with a child and never felt unsafe; the trains are also used by many commuters. Would we book the apartment again? Anytime. Definitely 10 out of 10 points! Many thanks to Kristina and Owen!

This was such a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and so beautiful. Instuctions were easily found and the property owners were very responsive and helpful. We took the PATH in to Manhattan and enjoyed some neighborhood eats and ice cream. Would definitely book them again!!

Kristina'a apartment is exceptional: nicely located in the historic part of Jersey City on tree-lined Montgomery St., PATH station (Grove St.) for rides to WTC and 33rd St. (in Manhattan) is nearby; ferry to Ellis Island / Lady Liberty in walking distance; the flat is very spacious, beautifully furnished w/classy details, high/plastered ceilings, and the deck/balcony in the backyard is the ideal place for having breakfast or a glass of wine after a a long day of exploring. Kristina was very responsive with any question we had. We had a wonderful time there, can highly recommend this place, and will surely come back!!!

We came to visit NYC for the week and chose this place because of the size and proximity to the subway. We were delighted that it is even more charming than the pictures make it look. The Murphy bed and the separate bathroom make it perfect for two people or two couples. Would definitely return!!!

This place is immaculate! The beds were super comfy, the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need and it was a short walk to the Path and great restaurants! We will 100% stay here again when we venture back to the city!

This was such a beautiful place to stay. It was super close to food and shopping. The subway was just a short walk away. We did not want to leave.

We loved the house. The pictures don’t do it justice; it is gorgeous! Across the street was a dog park and we enjoyed seeing them play. We chose to park at a local easy park place instead of on the street. It was less than a five minute walk there, as well as to the PATH station. Highly recommend this rental.

This is great place to stay if exploring New York City. It's just a 5 minute walk to the PATH station at Grove Street. Very comfortable space to relax and unwind after a day in the city.

This property was absolutely perfect for our long weekend trip to sight see in NYC with our kids. The property is absolutely beautiful and clean! The owner had helped with parking information prior to our trip, so I was able to pre-book parking. The lot we used is a short walk from the property. Our kids loved the Murphy bed! The Path station was also a short walk. Overall, this is probably the best property we have stayed at! Would definitely stay again!

I have rented many homes for our ladies trip in a lot of different states. This Jersey City townhouse is now one on my favorites. It is very comfortable and every room was very clean. The townhouse is only a few blocks from the Path station that takes you easily into Manhattan or all over New Jersey. Our host Kristina could not have been more accommodating. We are ladies in our early seventies and required some extra help with our stay and Kristina was wonderful. If you plan to visit New York this is the place to stay since it is less hectic then New York and close enough to get there with little effort. Kristina, thank you, for being a delightful host. We all hope to return one day. In the meantime we are sharing our great experience with all our friends in California.

We loved our stay in this beautiful flat. It's in a great area in Jersey City with lots of restaurants. A very easy PATH trip or ferry ride (our preference) into Manhattan. Such a nice quiet spot to recover from the city.
The flat itself is nicely decorated, comfortable, and the kitchen is a cook's dream with any equipment you may want.
My personal favorite was sitting on the back deck and watching squirrel politics.
A very enjoyable place to stay. We'll be back!

This was our second stay in this FABULOUS rental. The house is amazing! Perfect for 2 couples. The location is ideal. It is just a 10 minute walk to the PATH and then a 15 minute ride straight to the World Trade Center and the subway system. The house is across the street from a darling park and a 10 minute walk to a delightful area in Jersey City with anything you need. The beds are both super comfy and the 2 bathrooms great! The host is fantastic. We plan to stay here every trip to NYC if we can!

It was great place to rest after our long days in NYC. Much more space than we expected from the photos, our teenagers appreciated the room to chill. Nice job on the remodeling, modern amenities in a traditional brownstone.

We stayed for a week in this beautiful apartment, it has everything!
The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen has many new tools.
All the rooms are very clean.
Everything is working well.
The instructions are very clear.
And if you want to go to New York, the Path goes all day and it is a six minutes of walk and 10 minutes to World Trade Center.
The area is safe, we came back at 10p with no problems.
We stayed very well in this house, hope returning soon!
Thank to the owners.

This place was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was a quick and safe 10 minute walk to the PATH station which brought us to Manhattan in 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the check in was easy. Thank you for keeping this place up for visitors so nicely.

Nice unit, great location. Walk to Path station and many restaurants. Communication with the owner was very good. We went to New York City everyday with no issues. Walking around the area was pleasant with lots of other walkers. Plenty of good restaurants walking distance. We enjoyed every place we ate except Luna.
The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Loved how clean and well-furnished this rental was. The master king bed was very comfortable. We also liked how close the location is to the Grove Street PATH station. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again!

This was our first visit to the area and had a wonderful experience. The location of the brownstone is perfect for families. The lodging was clean and well supplied with what we needed for our stay. Description of the property is on par with what you are receiving and definitely be aware of the steep front steps; they are a workout on their own! Communication was timely with the property owner. We were very happy with our choice of lodging for this trip!

The best VRBO we've ever stayed in. Its location was perfect for everything we planned on doing for our ten day stay there. It is directly across from the Van Vorst Park where the Saturday market provides for delicious fruits, vegetables, and baked goods. A five minutes walk to the Path Grove Station where you can catch the train to Manhattan. From the Path Station, about 10 minutes to the WTC stop, 15 minutes to 9th Street in Greenwich Village. About 30 minutes from the Grove station to 33rd Street and then an easy connection to 42nd Street, Broadway. A must is the Pedestrian Zone, five minutes walk from the VRBO--excellent restaurants, pubs, as well as Walgreens. Post Office, a 15 minutes walk at 69 Montgomery Street. An excellent vegetarian restaurant is less than 5 minutes away from the VRBO--Uncle Momo's at 289 Grove Street. The VRBO is palatial in its beauty and size. Our host, Kristina, is a phone call away. When we visit NYC again, we will definitely stay in this Jersey City apartment again. Thank you, Kristina, for your awesome service and beautiful VRBO.

This property met and exceeded our expectations. It was very clean with plenty of space for our family of 6. With easy access to the Path, it made our journey to Manhattan very convenient. We felt safe at all times as the location was great and family friendly. We would highly recommend!

I would give 10 stars if I could! The apartment was beautiful and the attention to detail was apparent in every room! Extremely comfortable beds/linens and beautiful marble bathrooms. Very easy/quick/safe walk to the PATH station to head into WTC or Midtown, but Uber/Lyft into Manhattan/Brooklyn was very reasonable as well. Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay here and we will definitely be back!!

The owners have done an amazing job of updating this brownstone, while maintaining the charm of the original architecture. It is the cleanest short term rental we have ever stayed in! Communication and everything was smooth and top notch. We also enjoyed the location, close to the PATH train, shopping and dining. Always felt safe walking around, even at night. The waterfront was an easy maybe 15 minute walk and a gorgeous place to take in the view of Manhattan. We needed 4 beds to accommodate our family. Sofa sleeper was not so great for an adult 20 something man, but would probably be fine for kids. Master bedroom was extremely comfortable, but you do hear the dog park across the street as well as sirens at various hours. We only noticed this in the front bedroom, not the rest of the house, and were sensitive to it because we live on a quiet 5 acre property in the country. The murphy bed was very comfortable for an adult, but you should know that if the murphy bed is in use, you have no TV in the main living space. This would probably be fine for most, but we had an adult twenty something son sleeping in this bed that wanted to lounge in it whenever we were there, which nixed my plans of the entire family watching Christmas movies whenever we were in, as he didn't want to give up his comfy space. Owner was kind enough to provide a twin air mattress which was also very comfortable. It was extremely cold outside when we were there, but I very much enjoyed a morning cup of coffee on the balcony and a glass of wine there on the evening of our arrival. Bonus is that you have a slight view of Manhattan from the balcony through the trees, which was a fun surprise! Pride of ownership shows and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at this home. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it is. Definitely would recommend. It was so nice to be away from the craziness of NYC downtown. Each bed was comfortable. Host was amazing. Loved our stay.
