Clean, polite, super friendly, super accomodating. Bed was amazingly comfortable. The dogs they had were lovely and really added to feeling welcomed. Very relaxed atmosphere. Eager to go back.
The room was abit too warm, and found myself sweating a little bit at night. But they had a fan in the cupboard that fixed that easily.
Only thing I would say is having a designated plug for a phone charger by the bed would be great. But that's being picky as I managed perfectly well.

Room was large, clean and bed comfortable. The inn was busy with diners and children in play area, but very quiet later in the evening. Great breakfast with good quality food (excellent sausages!). Lovely peaceful location with nice walks nearby. All the staff were friendly and efficient.
Facilities were good but case rack was broken and water ran out very slowly from the basin - these were minor issues with an otherwise lovely stay.
4.7
Busy, friendly traditional pub with good atmosphere and helpful staff.
Novelty of the shepherd's hut accommodation. Clean and cleverly laid out.
Being overlooked by the pub and right next to the children's play area.
Dogs mess on the grass area in front of the hut (to be fair, probably a guest's dog).

Lovely place. Very nice location. We were attending a 3 day festival at Etherow Country Park. 15 minute taxi ride away.
Room was comfortable. Mattress a little uncomfortable for me but overall the room was nice. However unfortunately the room wasn't serviced once despite the fact we were there for 3 nights which was disappointing.
Breakfast was excellent and the pub itself is lovely.
Would definitely stay again but rooms need to be serviced at least every other day for fresh towels and clean bedding. There's really no excuse for not doing that.
So in conclusion a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Room not serviced once in 3 days stay.
Mattress a little soft and saggy.

I only booked this property as it was a midpoint on our drive from Glasgow to London and was close to where a friend lives, it exceeded our expectations on everything, accommodation, evening meal, breakfast, all staff were super friendly
I only booked a one night stay, not long enough, we hope to be back soon

The whole stay was really nice. In the middle of nowhere so really peaceful.
Food and drink were excellent.
The shower wasn't very powerful.
Because there was a charge for the dog it might have been nice to have a few treats in the room for her.

The evening dinner was absolutely delicious with lots of gluten free options and staff were very friendly. Pretty old style building and lovely outdoor activity for kids with lots of animals to see.
Seeing the previous excellent reviews, we were looking forward to staying in the Little Mills Inn but on arrival was a little disappointed.
Room 1 had an odd drain smell from it which was very unpleasant and wasn't very clean. Stains on cups and side locker had stains on it.
Seating in pub had very old coverings with lots of stains on fabric. Overpriced for what you get.
Asked to move room as we had another guest which the staff accommodated but charged a large amount for it even though they had the spare room available. Didn't mind paying extra but didn't think it would have been so much.

This is a place I used to come to as a child, so it was very nostalgic. The first thing I could see as we pulled up was the goats and that had me sold. Vinny the small goat became my best mate.
Such a stunning location the views are amazing. Staff very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Staff very accommodating 100% would stay here again.
Not a bad word to say apart from would be amazing if you had smart TVs but does not at all take away from the fact it’s a 10/10 place.

Remote location with amazing views outside, seen a Heron, kingfisher and squirrels. Staff are very helpful and the food was excellent. 10 out 10 for my stay.
Nothing at all, I would love to come back and stay with my family next time
