QUINTA DAS ÁRVORES (Farm of Trees)
A tree-lined driveway leads you to the top of a hill where this beautiful rustic home is located on the outskirts of picturesque Carvoeiro. A very large property with ancient olive trees in spectacular landscaped gardens, Quinta das Árvores is a tranquil and private oasis where up to 10 guests can truly relax and unwind; enjoying all that the Algarve has to offer.
The light-filled 3 bedroom villa with 2 recently renovated bathrooms, sleeps 6 and can be rented with or without the additional 2 bedroom cottage to accommodate up to 4 more people (please enquire for differing prices).
A stone entrance leads you into the bright and spacious open-concept kitchen and dining/living areas. This beautiful space with high ceilings and arched doors affords direct access to the covered patios, garden, swimming pool and barbeque area.
There are three attractively equipped bedrooms with built-in wardrobes in the main house which can be closed off from the living area. The master bedroom has a super-comfortable king size bed and a newly renovated bathroom with elegant clawfoot bath and a stunning Moroccan walk-in double shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single bed (these two rooms share a newly renovated modern bathroom with large walk-in shower). The main house is all on one level.
A few steps down from the beautiful covered terrace is a guest wing/cottage with two separate, spacious en suite bedrooms opening out onto the stunning terraces and pool area. These rooms also have built-in wardrobes.
Luxurious bedding and towels offer a high quality and comfortable hotel experience throughout.
Two indoor lounge areas are equipped with comfortable seating to admire the views or relax with a book. An additional TV/family room (with large screen satellite TV) also opens out onto the courtyard and garden beyond through double arched doors.
A large open concept kitchen with ample bench space, storage areas and high quality appliances allows guests to prepare and cook meals whilst enjoying the scenery.
Guests have several choices for enjoying dining and relaxing....the covered terrace area has both comfortable lounge seating and a large round dining table area which overlook the pool and gardens. Directly out from the kitchen/family area is an extendable outdoor table with chairs beneath a patio which filters the sunshine. There is a smaller table with 4 chairs in the courtyard which has shade most of the day and a beautiful sunset view.
Laundry with washing machine, dryer, outdoor clothes line and ironing facilities are available for guest use.
Around the villa and garden there are many superb areas to stroll and relax in the shade or sunshine. The beautifully landscaped gardens have been featured in several magazines and offer a creative mix between manicured and natural areas for guests to enjoy. There are rural and mountain views from various locations on the property.
For the warm weather the main villa is equipped with air conditioning. For the cooler months the entire villa and cottage is equipped with under floor heating and a wood fireplace in the main villa. The property is fully fenced with electric gates and security system. The swimming pool is salt water and has a pool cover.
The pool with diving board, children’s playground, grass football/badminton pitch, table tennis, tree house, cubby house, Pétanque/Boules pitch and wonderful meandering paths throughout the landscaped garden on different levels will be sure to keep everyone occupied!

We had a great time staying at this spacious and comfortable mansion with its large outdoor areas. Perfect for 2 families or a group of friends. We especially loved the big and well equipped living room/kitchen-area that opens up to the terrace and pool area. Communication with Diane was super easy with quick replies despite being in different time zones. We’ll definitely come back!

We recently stayed at this stunning property and had an exceptional experience. The property was incredibly spacious and spotless, with an amazing pool that became the highlight of our stay.
We had a local chef come in (@private_chef_silva), and the fully stocked kitchen made this a seamless experience. Grocery stores were conveniently close by as well.
We didn’t have a car and found Bolt and Uber to be sufficient, thought having a car would be beneficial. Overall, a perfect retreat that I would highly recommend!

A beautiful villa in an idyllic location just 5 minutes drive from Carveiro town. The grounds and pool area are both interesting and great for families. We enjoyed our stay. The cleaner came every 2 days which was a lovely touch..
The villa is somewhat dated, but the furniture fits the description. The Annexe bedrooms and utility room have a mould issue which we reported. This caused us all allergies and constant sneezing, but did not spoil the vacation. We recommend a good airing for the day of arrival guests a necessary to circulate and allow the empty home to acclimatize. All in all, a thoroughly nice villa. We recommend this home if the issues can be sorted. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your home.

We loved the location and outdoor spaces of this home. Check-in and out were so easy. The home was well-appointed and we had a great time. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths. The rooms in the guest house were a little musty but not too bad when we opened the windows.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this house. We were 1 adult couple and 2 adult singles. We wound up using one of the guest suites in the villa so everyone had their own bathroom, but the property is quite large and the house well appointed. Our only issue was the a/c units were set to environmental mode when we arrived so they continued to shut off after two hours of no movement, but we contacted Diane and she quickly/remotely fixed that. The rest of the stay was very enjoyable. You will need a car to get about but its only a short drive to groceries/restaurants, etc...

Wedding Week
We absolutely loved our stay where the family was all together for a wedding celebration. The BBQ and outdoor area was perfect for family gatherings and the pool was great fun all day! The house is clean and beautiful and is so well stocked with everything you need. The only slight criticisms was the cottage/outhouse rooms are a little dated in comparison to the main house and the BBQ area was quite dirty on arrival, but it did not detract from an excellent stay.

Mooie ruime woning, met plekjes voor iedereen. Het enige minpuntje was 1 douche, die moest 4 a 5 minuten lopen om beetje warm water te krijgen. Thermostaat werkte niet optimaal. Oplossing was simpel. Gewoon andere douche pakken. Verder fijne tijd gehad.

Nice property
Overall this is a good property for a family vacation. The cottage does not have a living room. It is basically 2 rooms to sleep only. The main house is beautiful.
If you plan to stay there be sure to check with the owner if the lights, stove and washer are working properly. The washer did not work but the owner was nice and gave us a discount.

A Villa surrounded by nature
Upon driving through gates....the villa and surrounding ancient olive trees greeted us. Glorious weather whilst there....for early spring, with crisp mornings-evengings and warm sunshine during rest of day to enjoy whilst relaxing stretched out on garden lounges. Enjoyed morning meanduring down carefully landscaped paths surrounding villa, was a maze to discover.....fruit trees - olive, orange, lemon and grapefruit trees awaiting to be plucked fresh for breakfast. Even jumped into sparkling pool which was fresh!!! Could not resist !! The openess of main living area was filled with light and space - cosy couches, huge dining table, even original beautiful artwork painted by owner. Everything was set up for a perfect family stay. A very relaxing and unforgettable experience of amazing Portugal was had.

Está casa é ótima para umas férias em família. Tem uma localização muito boa, entre carvoeiro e lagoa. Praias de grande qualidade a pouca distância. Jardim lindo com múltiplas coisas para fazer. (piscina voleibol, ténis de mesa etc)

Fantastic holiday at beautiful villa
We have just returned from a lovely holiday staying at Quinta Das Arvores. The villa is spacious, very clean, comfortable and equipped with just about everything you need. Diane is very helpful and responds very quickly to any queries, as was Raquel, who manages the property. Overall couldn't fault this villa; comfortable beds, spacious and well equipped kitchen/dining room, the pool and surroundings are fabulous. Kids were kept entertained with table tennis, badminton, boules, little footy pitch - fantastic. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time and I'm sure we'll be returning! Would highly recommend!

The house is well equiped , set in a wonderfull outdoor garden, true estate , great locatuon, 5 min from all the blue flag beaches, 2 minuets to supermarket and very near the slide and splash water park. A wonderful, peaceful holiday.
Such a beautiful house and gardens in a perfect location. Just minutes from the lovely town and beach of Cavoeiro and the town of Lagoa makes this house ideal for exploring without having to drive far. There are also many other beaches very close by. The property is beautifully maintaned and clean. Our family loved the different areas of the garden where we found lots of things to entertain us. The pool area is so peaceful and the pool was clean and a wonderful temperature. All in all a fantastic stay and we will return!

Great location (5 mins drive from Carvoeiro). Clean, well-maintained facilities. Lots of leisure facilities (including pool, table tennis, small football area etc. Wonderful customer service from the owners. Excellent outdoor bbq area.

The owner is very nice and you can do a lot in the property itself, pool, ping pong, volleyball / football, tree house for the kids, stargazing...The property is well maintained and clean. Nice barbecue area.A great supermarket (Apolonia) is 5 min away by car. We had a great time with family and friends. I relaxed, read a bit and recovered energy. Hope to go there again.

Beautiful house with gardens!
We were family of 6 with a toddler. House 8 min ride from Benagil caves (a must visit) favorite part of the house was the big open kitchen, gorgeous garden and a pool. House was clean, and well decorated. My parents were a little bit uncomfortable because of the open style room/ bathroom which didnt have doors. The house has a security system and a stove that owners have to show and explain better upon arrival.
I would definitely recommend this house for anybody who wants to visit south Portugal with friends or family!

The house is not in line with the offer. A lot of things don't work. The whole children's area is very neglected and nothing works. This also applies to the rest of the house.
There is a long list of shortcomings.

Excelent for a relaxing holiday
This place is an absolute gem.
Just 5 min away from wonderful beaches but in the most relaxing atmosphere.
The house is very well maintained and cleaned. Having 3 children we didn't have to worry about entertaining them as there was something for everyone: swings, football pitch, tree house and plenty of space to run. It was too cold to use the pool but we're already planing a summer trip to give it a try.
There are 3 big supermarkets just a 5 min drive away and plenty of good restaurants in Carvoeiro and Benagil.
We will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.
