Ottima posizione a pochi metri dalla spiaggia e parcheggi direttamente davanti all'hotel
Bagno piccolo, lavarsi è impossibile senza allegare tutto il bagno.
Pulizia camere (ho dovuto chiedere dopo 4 gg di pulirla) e la presenza di blatte ovunque.

I think that the critical question when talking about accommodation is always something like:Would I choose it again/ suggest it to my loved ones?
Considering Michaela's value for money, I find it very low for a number of reasons:
The bathroom door cannot open properly, as the toilet bowl gets in the way.
Half of the available balcony is occupied by other visitors and there is no such thing as a rail in between.
The view is really mediocer, a pretty house, hand in hand to a scrap heap to enjoy.
Chances to enjoy a good night's sleep are really very low as the mattresses are of the worst quality- soft and lacking stability.
If you care to watch a bit of TV before going to bed, better forget it , as their TV, accepting 0 channels, is nothing but a space waster!
Last but not least, the return of money policy they ballyhoo, should not be taken into account, as these people are masters of cheaply excusing themselves one way or the other in order to avoid returning the money they owe you.
For all these reasons , it is obvious that I would not make the mistake to choose Michaela again, or suggest it to my loved ones, as the owners appear completely unprofessional.

The property is perfectly located on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and bars and shops. The hotel is run by a husband and wife. Teo the husband went above and beyond to make our first experience in Greece wonderful. He was the kindest, loveliest, perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. He took me to a medical centre when I was unwell and waited for me and brought me back to the hotel. He took us out when we were unable to get taxis. He took us on a tour of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia on the way to the airport when we were leaving. He was so kind to us all.
The showering facilities were not the best. The showers need a shower curtain, the bathroom floor ended up flooded after every shower we had. Also it’s not a big deal but we would’ve liked a kettle in the room so we could’ve made hot drinks in the mornings or before bed.

Loved the atmosphere, the lovely People, the small laid back village and the amazing view! The owner even did a lot so we could get back some forgotten cloth. Would definately recommend!

Very good location. Did the job for an overnight stay
it is tired, but this is reflected to the price.

Extra small bathroom and door which was not possible to close. There was no receptionist. We get key from clening lady, she dosn't speak english

Amazing location, 50 meters from the sea with direct view of the sea. The sunrise it's simply beautiful!
The refrigerator is a little bit too noisy and the mattress to soft for my taste but the price/quality ratio it's correct.

Location was nice.
There was an awful smell of sewer in the room, stains in the toilet and on the curtain, Place must be built near an open sewer line, impossible to sleep in their unless your burning an incense or a candle. Upon arrival in the evening we were nit told what time to checkout, we returned from breakfast at 11.30 to hear the owner on the phone to someone badmouthing us. Was happy to pack up our stuff get out of there and finally breath some fresh air. Would definitely not rebook, cleanliness was an issue.

Location overlooking the beach, and helpful staff.
The cleaning of the room was a bit hit and miss.

The Hotel has very beautiful view of the sea, has private parking, beachfront, the owners are very nice people if you need anything and ask them they will help you immediately, the wifi was also good. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is stunning! amazing views over Poros. Comfy beds and perfect facilities for our stay. The staff are incredible!! Theo is a gem and will go above and beyond to make you have a great stay! He is friendly and so fun! He took such good care of us, giving us coffee, water and snacks. He offered to drive us around the island and drove us into the centre, taking the scenic route so we could see everything! Great time!! Can’t wait to come back and stay!!!

Nice view from the my room.
The staff is almost never present and the owner, when he is the premises, speaks only Greek! He was very rude to me in his attitudes and gestures...He called me "crazy" because I could not use the remote control to operate the air con. His wife organized for me that he would have taken me to another location in his car (we set a price) the day of my departure, but then he seemed in a bad mood for something tragic that had happened to a friend of his in Italy (he showed me a youtube video)and after making me wait at the reception he didin't take me and I had to walk to the taxi station to find a taxi. In short he seemed to accuse me for something bad that happened to his friend in Italy. It was a very unpleasant experience and I felt unsafe and uneasy.

Close to the beach.
While I appreciate the owner picking me up from the port on my arrival, I found him lacking knowledge about most things regarding the area. He could be rude at times and his constant smiling lacks substance. The rooms are classified as a hotel but there’s isn’t even any coffee facilities. Owner suggested I visit a cafeteria. The hotel doesn’t even have a bottle of water for guests arriving in 35 degrees Celsius in the middle of summer.

We recommend it wholeheartedly! The owners of the hotel are just incredible kind people. If we needed something, they provided everything for us. The hotel is very nice, cozy and clean. Cleaning every day. It is right on the beach and the view is amazing! Fall asleep and wake up to the sound of sea waves. And what a gorgeous sunrise right from the balcony of the room! Just a fairy tale! Very good location with access to beaches, tavernas and cafes. 15 minutes walking to the Poros harbor. After check out we had time to wait before to drive to the airport and the owners served us fruits and drinks! We are extremely grateful for everything - our stay was wonderful at the Michaela hotel! Evharisto!
P.S. The owner Eleni speaks English and Russian as well.
Everything was perfect!

Everything was perfect. The beach is down some stairs and our balcony had a nice view of the ocean and the village. It looks like they recently renovated the place. The owners were really nice and even carried our luggage up the stairs. We also got some fruits one evening. You can also get a discount for a restaurant where a family member of the owners works. It’s a few minutes walking into the center itself but that didn’t bother us. We would definitely come back :)

Great location, excellent view, friendly and helpful staff, daily thorough cleaning, good beds, good sized fridge, good AC, many towels
No kitchen appliances (cutlery, glasses, plates etc.), no mosquito net, many wasps around the balcony and windows, weak wifi

Very comfortable and close to the beach. The owner was very kind. The beach is with stones and it'a quiet nice. Very clean location.
The location on booking is not right. You should call the owner to tell you the directions.

Location is great, even the car parking has a sea view, my room was very nice and with excellent view on the sea where I could see the sunrise from my balcony . WIFI was good and staff was friendly and helpful.
An elevator would make the place perfect, however in my case this was no issue as staff offered to help me with my luggage.
