This was an amazing holiday. Right from the beginning Diane was in contact with me. Nothing I ask was a problem. She arranged for us t have some shopping at the villa as we were arriving late night. When we arrived very late Roberta was there to greet us and show us around. From this moment we had the best time making memories with your family. Diane and Roberta I can not thank you enough for everything. Beautiful Vila and would highly recommend

Only 5 minutes from Ostuni this property was a great size for our group. 4 adults & 4 teenagers. The outside space was used constantly and the pool was perfect in the incredible heat!
Aircon in the king size rooms was good. The twins would benefit from it too. Equipment in the kitchen was good, plenty of plates & glasses. Good size fridge too. Plenty of space for our 2 cars outside. Table tennis table got some use too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Roberta & Diane were attentive and we felt well looked after :)

We were two families, ten people in all, staying in Villa Fiorella in the end of July this year. We had a great stay, nice house and the pool area were perfect for us with umbrellas and sun beds and, of course, the pool.
Unfortunately the house don’t have air condition and with temperatures above 40 degrees during our stay the fans in the bedrooms weren’t enough.
The housekeepers Roberta and Ahmed were fantastic and helped us with all sorts of things, booking tables and doctor appointment for example, and they were reachable our whole stay.

Overall. we had a nice stay at the villa. Diane is a responsive host and Roberta and Ahmed were very responsive property managers. It is spacious with nicely appointed bedrooms, living room, and kitchen had all the basic requirements. The outdoor area is lovely which is of course dominated by the amazing pool. House is really close to Ostuni and the old town which is great. Overall it was lovely.
However and this important to keep in mind:
- There is no wifi, well there is wifi but it is awful and rarely works. Ahmed provided us with a portable wifi router but the result was the same. Additionally, there is little to no mobile reception regardless of network so basically you are completely incommunicado while there. In a sense it can be a blessing in disguise when on vacation but if you require anything online such as answering emails from work, having netflix for the kids, you have no solution. It is not sustainable for anyone with a job.
- No blackout curtains or blinds. So for light sleepers you are at surise and if you have kids, you can expect very long days.
- No Air Conditioning and although the house is on top of a hill and has a lovely breeze, when it is 37 degrees during the day and 27 at night, it is hot, fan or not. I would recommend adding AC in the rooms. The kids room was one with no air and was very, very hot.
- Main bathroom has very little water pressure. It was ok as there was a shower downstairs.
Despite the few negatives, I would recommend this villa.

Recently returned from a family holiday - 9 of us in total aged 21-73 yrs visiting from the UK. Communication with Diane, the owner prior to the visit was fantastic. She was friendly, assistant and patient since Vrbo were experiencing problems with their payment facilities. She provided lots of info on the villa and area via email.
Be sure to download directions in advance of arriving to the area as phone signal is extremely poor regardless of the network, which is expected when out in the Italian countryside. Was met by the property management company - friendly girl called Roberta. She gave us a tour of the villa and informed us that the wi-fi wasn't always reliable. This rung more than true as none of us could access it at all. Upon informing Roberta, we were given boosters the next day, which seemed to do the trick. My advice to the management would be to have these from the start or at least mention that these could be provided. I'd be cautious about coming here if you 100% needed wifi for work, as apparently its widely accepted that the internet isn't reliable in the area, although I'm not sure how true that is. It seemed to work everywhere else we went. We also had an issue with the upstairs shower pressure, which again was rectified with a new water pump the very next day, which we were super grateful for.
The photos of the villa are a true reflection of the size and furniture, but it is perhaps a little more dated and tired in places - faulty door handles and doorframes meant some bedroom doors can't be shut and whilst well stocked in terms of crockery, cutlery etc. it lacks things like more sizable saucepans and more tea towels for a group of 9-10 people. We struggled when cooking large pasta dishes, as did the chefs we hired to cook for us in our villa one night. That said, we thought that overall, this place was fair value for money. I looked at 10 different available villas when researching the area - whilst this wasn't the cheapest it was definitely on the lower end so think we paid for what we got and we had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay in Oustini. The villa is situated just outside of the town which was quiet and peaceful but only a 5 min drive to the supermarket and a 8 min drive to the Old Town (which is incredibly beautiful). The house is very spacious, cool and well suited to a large family. The pool and outside areas were great - we enjoyed al fresco meals, a lot of ping pong and a wonderful BBQ. The hosts, Roberta and Ahmed, were exceptional - booking a celebratory meal at an amazing restaurant we wouldn't have found ourselves, as well as organising taxis for us etc. Would recommend.

First, the house is not equipped for a hot climat : Diane, the owner had told us the house would be cool, even if there is no clim. It wasn't cool at all ! It was impossible to sleep well in the bedrooms despite the ventilators (+33 degres in my son's bedroom !). There was no shadow in the garden either, and not enough parasols around the pool to shelter.
more important : the owner of the house, Diane, harassed us since the first day by many e-mail and over-precise instructions. One day, her housemaid and the man who takes care of the house, came when we were out. They saw that we had made a mistake in the garbage sorting (It is really complicated, very different from the one in France) , that we had put the table of the living room outside and that we had forgotten to fold up a parasol... `
Diane sent us a very threatening, long mail. The day after, we received a message from VB0/Abritel telling us that the owner asked us to leave the villa before 4 in the PM ! Three days before the end of our vacation ! With no reason !
It was illegal of course, and we stayed. But until the end of the week, each day, our family, our children, wondered what problem would happen again, because of the owner. We had a very bad time, with this menace above our heads. She succeed at spoiling our holidays.
I precise that me and my sister have rent dozen of villas in our life, and never had any problem with owners before. For the check out, the man and the housemaid had to recognize we had made no damage in the house, and had to give us back the deposit.

We’ve had a fantastic family holiday at this villa. We are 8 people in total and there was more than enough space for all of us. The villa is clean and well equipped with all facilities. Diane and Zohar were extremely helpful from start to finish! We particularly enjoyed the wonderful meal we had at the villa which was prepared by Sandra (a fantastic chef organised by Zohar for us) and Domenica. The food they cooked for us was amazing! Would definitely recommend if you fancy a night in but don’t want the hassle of cooking. Well worth every penny! The outside area and pool were exceptional and the table tennis table was an added bonus. Overall, a fantastic villa in a peaceful location.

Prachtige omgeving, prima huis (locatie/inrichting/ruimte/netheid)

We have just come home from a 2 week stay at this villa. From start to finish, from the booking, communication and overall help/top tips from Diane and Zohar (local manager) we had a great experience. There was 8 of us in our party ranging from 75 - 3 years old. We found the villa extremely comfortable, spacious & well equiped, the showers hot and powerful just what was needed after pool/beach days. The villa was cool inside, fans & a continous light breeze also helped. We ate outside every night using local produce & using the herbs from the herb garden. We had a recommended chef one evening which was a treat. The pool was amazing and the kids were often in it before breakfast. Access to local places of interest were easy to get to once you had got used to the style of driving. A sat nav / google maps is helpful. We would recommend Torre Guaceta for a beach, clean, crystal clear waters. All the food we ate / brought was delicious and the local wine stores provided great quality wine. Thank you so much Diane for letting us stay in your wonderful villa we will miss it greatly. Jane & family

Our party of 10 family and friends ranging in age from 17- 75 had a deeply relaxing week in very hot sunshine. We all found the house to be a very generous and well thought through home, full of extra touches to make a week there very easy to enjoy from the moment we arrived. The welcome hamper was fabulous, and we also booked the local chef to cook for us one evening - can definitely recommend her! The pool was a decent size for reasonable swimming and the table tennis table was a big hit with all of us. We enjoyed a few movies too in the hottest part of the day. The only downside were local dogs barking in the early hours, which was tough for light sleepers, but siestas helped! The owner provided plenty of details to help us find the house, and was happy to stay in touch if needed during our stay. We would love to go back one day.

Arriving for our first villa experience we were met by the cleaners who were just completing a very thorough job. They left the villa very clean and it was just what we had hoped and discussed as we had made our way from Brindisi airport earlier in the day, a journey that was broken off with a lovely lunch in the Piazza Della Liberta in Ostuni which is a beautiful spot. The villa was large, both inside and out, with plenty of room for our large family to spread out and enjoy a relaxing week in Puglia. Ostuni was an ideal place for basing ourselves and the information provided gave us the opportunity to have many days out . The old town in Lecce, an hour away by car, was a stunning city to explore and stopping off for a dip in the sea was easily achieved with many beaches available on the drive back to the villa. We visited a local olive farm, Masseria Brascati where Italian chef Gino D'Acampo was filming last year, which was a very interesting half day being on the site of an old Roman farm with most of the olive trees dating back over 2,000 years. At the end of our tour we had tasting and were given a fascinating insight into local history, Another half day at a wine producer on route to Cisternino was time well spent for my very enthusiastic passengers who had the opportunity to sample the local produce. Unfortunately for me , the driver , i was satisfied with a quality Italian ice cream which seemed to be pretty much on the menu most days !
During our stay , the weather never dropping below 35C in the daytime and the pool back at the villa was the place we ended up most days by mid-afternoon for a much needed total chill out. The pizza oven at the villa certainly got some use and the local food , wine , people and the area were a total joy and we all cannot wait to return. A great holiday.

Summary: perfect villa, especcialy for family or friends. Communication and service of Diane is great. Ostuni and surrounding is wonderfull!! Advising this villa and surrounding!

We recently stayed at Villa Fiorella for one week (wish it was longer!) for a family vacation. The villa exceeded our expectations on so many levels. We were a group of 6; 4 adults and 2 children and the pool was a big hit with everyone, especially the kids. Even though the weather was unusually hot (we had an entire week of perfect weather), the pool water stayed cool and refreshing the entire time. And Diane and Michael ensure that it is spotless and well maintained. We couldn't believe how large the pool was for a private residence.
The villa itself was also larger than we expected, with great balconies giving views of Ostuni, the water, and the surrounding landscape. Because of its location, the villa is close enough to town to be convenient for grocery shopping and sightseeing, but just far enough out of town to be peaceful and private. And, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived.
Diana and Ian were most helpful. They assisted us when we had problems getting our rental car and they showed us where to get the best local wine (Lu Capasone in Ostuni) and foods and where to park in Ostuni. When we arrived on Sat night tired and hungry, we were amazed to find a refrigerator full of food, a carafe of wine, a personal note, and an extremely thorough welcome packet with loads of information (which we used on many occasions). We used Angelo for taxi service on one occasion and he was very prompt with a beautiful car! We couldn't believe the attention to detail and effort they put into making us feel welcome and providing us with so much information. We can't say enough good things about them.
Wonderful, clean beaches are close by. We went to one called "Mediterranean(?)" because we wanted the convenience of bathrooms and a snack bar for the kids. It was very reasonable for parking, had chairs for rent and a snack bar that was better than any beach snack bar we'd find in the US! A drive along the coast is also a must. We made a day trip to Alberobello and we found nearby Cisternino to be quaint and a lot of fun. We bought fresh fruits and vegetables at the Wednesday market in Ostuni. Fresh seafood is also abundant.
The villa has all the conveniences you'll need. It is perfect for all ages. If you are looking for a great place for a family vacation, this is it! We highly recommend Villa Fiorella.

Just back from a terrific holiday at Villa Fiorella (grandparents and 2 families: in total 6 adults and 4 children of 11, 9, 7 and 5 years old). It is a really comfortable and big house, with everything you need, spotlessly clean on arrival. When renting a holiday home, there is always this delicate balance between hope it will be as presented on the site, or perhaps better, and fear it will be a disappointment. Villa Fiorella made all expectations come through, and Diana's efforts and tips before and especially during our stay made the difference. When we stayed at the villa, she was in the UK, but we kept in contact via email and she used her very efficient network to organise things on our request, probably better than anyone locally would have been able to, really impressive.
We were there during the first week of June, and even if the temperature outside reached 32°C, it was always nice and cool inside, the highest temperature I saw on the thermometer in the house was 23°C (no need to use the ventilators). The location of the villa is perfect: next to Ostuni, which is only a few minutes by car. It is a city big enough for people looking for culture, shops, good restaurants (try "Osteria del Tempo Perso", if you want to give yourself a good treat!) and bars, but with a cosy and nice atmosphere. The sea is nearby, with several (small) beaches, and there are various interesting villages in the neighbourhood, close enough for a visit in the morning or afternoon. It was always a pleasure to come back to the villa afterwards. We especially liked that the villa is tranquil and beautifully located, but not totally isolated. The swimming pool was a total success: large enough for a good swim, but also very comfortable for the children to play in the undeep part. It was a pleasant surprise to feel warm water running out of the shower next to the pool.
For us, Villa Fiorella was the ideal setting for a perfect family holiday. Picture us, after a swim all together in the pool, dressed for the perfect evening temperature, with a prosecco under the gazebo, the children playing in the garden. Then, dinner, all together around the stone table on the terrace, Rosanna's homemade pizza's straight from the pizza oven to our plates. The ideal occasion and atmosphere for us catching up as a family, enjoying being together... what a feeling of complete happiness! That's how good life can be.

We visited in April 2009. The Villa is magnificent and has a wonderful patio and swimming pool with plenty of space to relax. Our children (7 and 5) enjoyed swimming most evenings. The photographs don't do it justice. Inside the Villa is very spacious and clean and with four bedrooms and three bathrooms is suitable for both small and large families. The Villa has everything you need for your stay, buckets, spades etc are provided for the children to use at the beach.
Diane and Michael were perfect hosts. We arrived at 12.00 midnight on Saturday and they were there to welcome us and had a wonderful supper prepared, with local red wine, which was excellent. They advised us on the places to visit and where to eat and encouraged us to call them if we needed anything during our stay. Their recommendations were perfect.
Ostuni is a lovely old town about 5 minutes drive from the Villa. It has many lovely restaurants, which are all reasonably priced. The locals as you expect with Italians were very helpful and friendly. The Villa is a great place to stay whether you want to relax or go sight seeing as there are many towns all within less than an hours drive. Places to see are Cisterino, Martina Franca, Alberobello (trulli houses) and Lecce.
We have been to many places in Italy and this was the best Villa we stayed in.
If you decide to stay in the Villa, you will not be disappointed.

We have had a great 2 weeks in this fantastic villa. The Villa and pool were absolutely fabulous and proved a real hit with both the children and adults. We did not move too far from the pool in the second week of our stay which says it all.But if anything could top the accommodation it was Diane, our perfect hostess - she has been an amazing. As well as offering suggestions and recommendations on places and restaurants to visit she gave private swimming lessons to our kids, assisted with our hire car breakdown and just showed a genuine interest and passion in ensuring we had the best holiday ever - and we certainly did.Ostuni is a beautiful part of Italy and we'd love to come back and visit and stay in Diane's villa again.
