Kell Cottage is a beautiful country retreat located in the charming town of Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Just a short drive from Sydney and Canberra, Bundanoon is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

KELL Cottage is located on a big, private 2-acre country allotment and is a very special property.
You can escape the rest of the world in this beautifully furnished cottage with only the resident Kangaroos and beautiful blossom trees to keep you company. KELL Cottage is a haven for relaxation.

Bundanoon is a tranquil country town that has something to offer everyone. You can take the short walk to the main street and enjoy a coffee at the Old Bicycle Shop Cafe or if you feeling adventurous, strap on your hiking boots and explore one of all of the natural wonders of the local area. With Morton National Park, Glow Worm Glen, Fairy Bower Falls, great mountain biking, local wineries, numerous bushwalking tracks and of course the Brigadoon Scottish festival, one weekend might not be enough time to take in all Bundanoon and Kell Cottage has to offer!

Great location. Kids love exploring the property, collecting eggs and feeding the birds. They also love the trampoline and zip line. Combustion fire keeps the house warm. Well equipped kitchen allowing family to make the most of staying in. Beds are very comfortable.

This is the sort of place you can arrive at and not feel the need to leave till check out time arrives. Submersed in nature, with plenty of privacy my family and i were able to unwind and escape the usual Sydney rat race. The lemon tree was a blessing as we enjoyed a jug of fresh lemonade as the fireplace providd warmth on one of winters coldest nights. The hens and fresh eggs made for that authentic countryside experience. The kitchen is well equipped and also included an air fryer, the bedrooms were spacious, plenty of toys for the kids and the heated tiles in the upstairs bathroom was an amazing touch for those cold days.

Stayed for a few nights linked to a family wedding and really enjoyed the excitement of that first checkin moment, and returning each day after being out. Its a very relaxing ambience with space and the sounds of rustling leaves and happy birds. If im in town again, ill be checking the availability of Kell Cottage first. Dealing with Susan was excellent - very prompt and supportive. Thanks

From booking to checking in and out, it was a very smooth process. Susan and Mark were excellent in communication and answering questions promptly. A beautiful home with luxury will definitely recommend and visit again. Great for children and the chickens were a treat, feeding and collecting eggs. Home is comfortable, warm and child friendly. Our family of 6 and our dog had a wonderful 5 night stay at Kell cottage. The home is very well equipped and comfortable, light filled and very aesthetic decor. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Huge area behind the flying fox for playing family cricket with our dog ecstatically fielding. Our 13 and 15 year olds loved the chickens and the flying fox. We had a delightful meal at the local Italian restaurant. Having just had surgery I appreciated being able to eat free range eggs from the chickens. Beds were comfortable and lovely bathroom. Excellent communication from Susan. We would love to come again!

The property provided all that we needed for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and being close to nature - feeding the chooks and birdlife, seeing the bunnies and kangaroos hoping around. All six of our group would be happy to return for another holiday weekend.

We had such a wonderful time in Bundanoon. The kids had so much fun riding bikes and talking to the hens. Communication with the owner was great and the house was spotless. I would recommend this home to anyone - even in the pouring rain there was lots to do.

Kell Cottage was a very relaxing spot for our end of year break. The house and garden were very spacious and well-appointed. We were visited by many species of birds, bunnies and kangaroos. We enjoyed feeding the chickens and collecting their eggs. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday with a large extended family group.

Kell Cottage is a luxurious family home in a peaceful part of Bundanoon. It's very well equipped with quality furnishings, plenty of pantry staples, & we also particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs from the hen-house. There's good wifi but poor/no mobile coverage; lots of books, games & DVDs (and a Netflix-capable TV). The beds are comfortable and the spacious main bathroom has a good shower. We'd definitely stay again. Photos are all accurate & communication with the hosts was a breeze.

Lovely getaway for a cold last weekend in May. The house was very cosy with the slow combustion fireplace - we never felt cold inside the whole weekend. The house is very clean and well appointed with all the luxuries of home but with the benefits of the 'country life'.

The property both inside and outside was absolutely stunning! We used it as accomodation for our bridal party to get ready at before the wedding and it worked perfectly. Even our photographer was amazed by the property and found it perfect for wedding photos.

My three girlfriends and myself had a wonderful weekend away at this charming cottage in Bundanoon. From the immaculate rooms, fully stocked kitchen, cute alpacas, bunnies, chickens and wild birds, picturesque gardens and balconies and privacy from the neighborhood due to the beautiful trees, it was just what we needed! Would definitely consider returning especially with our family as it would also be perfect for kids with so many hidden extras of toys, games, and of course the animals. Thanks so much!
