About this house rental
We are happy to provide you with organic coffee and a selection of high quality teas (black, green, herbal).
Savor your morning coffee or tea on the back deck, surrounded by the birdsong and the serenity of nature.
Built in 2001, our 2,000 sq. ft. home is environmentally sound and allergy friendly, comfortable and attractive, yet simple. 9-foot ceilings both downstairs and upstairs provide a light, airy, and spacious atmosphere.
Terracotta tile floors downstairs, and pine flooring upstairs. Living room features two large area rugs.
The kitchen and great room (living + dining) are located downstairs, along with the laundry room, and toilet closet with small lavatory. Front loading washer and dryer. Full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, high-performance water filter, dual-fuel range with electric oven for even baking and gas stovetop for precision control, plus second full size electric oven built into the island. Enjoy the chef’s array of extra virgin olive oils and various vinegars, sea salt & pepper mill.
The 3 bedrooms are upstairs, along with the bathroom, shower room, and toilet closet with small lavatory. In a typical European style, the bedrooms are for sleeping; and, as such, are not as spacious as many contemporary American homes.
The bathroom features a 5-foot enamel glazed cast-iron tub and single lavatory located in the upstairs hall. The large soaking tub is perfect after a day of hiking or shopping (Epsom salts provided).
An Italian-style walk-in shower is located within the master bedroom, as is a single lavatory.
Meyer’s hand soap, as well as organic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both bathrooms are provided for your use.
There are two European-style toilets, located in the hall, both upstairs and downstairs.

My husband and my business partner/family friend came to attend our Goddaughters' Mom's wedding at Thorncrown Chapel and selected Karen's beautiful French home to attend the wedding and to hike and experience Eureka Springs. Karen and her husband, Ron, immediately made us feel like home the minute we arrived. Their peaceful ambiance and hospitality created in their home presented us with not only very comfortable accommodations but a true wellbeing learning experience from their healthy, ecological lifestyle reflected in their home! We hiked, walked, and enjoyed healthy meals (inspired by Karen's wellbeing tours in France, her cooking classes and tasting olive and balsamic oils which she shared with us in their well stocked kitchen). We had everything we needed in this very comfortable, beautiful French themed home and also greatly appreciated her sharing the basil and arugula from their organic garden. Thank you Karen and Ron for your awesome hospitality! We wish you all the best!

Beautiful home and grounds
Karen was the perfect hostess! She introduced us to the property and made sure we were comfortable. The outdoors were beautiful and we felt we were living in the French countryside. It was the perfect location for our getaway celebration of our birthdays.

Great getaway
Karen is a great host and this is an amazing retreat. We stayed for a long weekend and this is a five minute drive from everything you want to do. It’s tucked away right off the main road and feels like old Europe. Loved it.

Girls Trip Cheaper Than Therapy
The host provided detailed information and the accommodations were as advertised. Karen was personable and we felt comfortable in her house. We loved sitting on the patio drinking coffee in the mornings and enjoying our favorite beverages in the evenings. She went beyond our expectations in providing information on local favorite dining options as well as contacts for transportation and sightseeing options. All around positive experience.

Truly Exceptional
I stayed with my daughter and her fiancé and we all agreed it was like being in a beautiful Provençal home - the property is amazing and has the feel of seclusion yet close to the town . It was truly perfect in every way from the amenities of the home to the surrounding areas with breathtaking views and a variety of nature based activities.
We will definitely stay again when we return.

Beautiful
Our visit was exactly what we wished for, a beautiful home, surrounded by nature. The house provided a tranquil environment to rest and relax within close proximity to town for our daily outings, though we would have been content to sip our coffee on the deck all day long. We will be back.

Great time!
We had. a great time in Eureka Springs and in this lovely home. It’s exactly as pictured and even had the option to pick veggies out of the garden in the back of the house . We had a short stay but if we find ourselves in the area down the road we would definitely stay at this home again !

Wonderful House
We have been going to Eureka Springs for yrs. We have done the B and B, hotels and motels. This was our first time in a home and we loved it. We had a good time Karen was great. The only problem we had was with vrbo, made it hard to get in contact with each other. We will stay here again but will use a different site next time. Blocking telephones just is nuts after you paid. Loved the kitchen

Nice but no TV
We enjoyed our stay in Eureka Springs. The house was clean and well equipped except for a working TV. There is a TV in the pictures so I didn't think to look under amenities to see if there was a TV. While it is not included in amenities, it should be pointed out that there is not a TV. We were planning on watching an important football game Saturday and were very disappointed.

Beautiful, quiet getaway.
This home was a pleasure to stay in. Comfortable, well equipped and far enough off the beaten path to enjoy. If we're ever back in Eureka Springs again we will definitely stay here again.
