Big and beautiful!
Eight friends and I had a lovely stay in this home for a long weekend! Good location close to Heavenly and South Lake with incredible views. House is older and so is the hot tub, but it worked out great for us :)

This was our second vacation at this home. I would recommend staying here to all families. It's immaculately kept and supplied with everything/anything you want.
The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, but it's near to beaches, restaurants, and shopping.

The property is lovely, well stocked, and is in a great location.
However be aware that the house does not have air conditioning, and there are a limited number of windows that can be opened. Also, some rooms do not have any windows that can be opened. There are no ceiling fans. There is a small house ventilation fan that did not seem effective in pulling in enough air even though the night temperatures were very reasonable.
Please be aware if you have certain allergies, keeping the windows open to cool the house may not be an option for you.

Tahoe Keys vacation
Absolutely the best. The home is attractive, well located, beautifully decorated, and homey in the best sense of the word. There is something for everyone from young to old to do including a paddle boat in the lagoon just outside the back door, a hot tub, and many games. We loved it.

We celebrated our youngest 21st birthday! He wanted to hangout with his parents and brother and sister n law! We r a fun family!

Idyllic tranquil nature filled heaven.
Wow. This house was amazing. First off the lovely owner (Bernice) was kind enough to meet us there at check in and give us a helpful tour. She was also very available on the phone throughout our stay when we had questions or concerns.... and has a wealth of local knowledge for hikes etc.
The house was purpose built for Rentals and so well stocked we could have catered for 20 with no problem. The only thing we couldn’t find in our 2 week stay was a garlic crusher!
The location and views to the mountains over the lagoon(Tallac lake) was so calming and peaceful we hardly wanted to leave and explore the area! Watching the Morning mist on a glassy lake surface whilst eating breakfast and enjoying a cold beer in a hot tub in front of the sunset pink hues on the mountain faces beyond wad dream like.
Our 19month old daughter was in heaven with all the space inside and the big lawn the paddle boat tours of the ducks, fish, geese, beaver and bears!!!! Yes we saw two bears swim in the lake..... truly memorable. She get very upset when we had the leave the resident bear(stuffed toy) and go home!
The Neighbour’s were friendly, helpful and quiet. Everything was clean and really well stocked. The layout of the house was great. They had toys and cribs and a high chair, kids books and not too much for us to say no to our little toddler about.
We did suffer a bit with the heat at first as there is no A/C but once the kids got used to the dry air and altitude we got some sleep and loved every minute of our stay. Be sure to close the window blinds in the afternoon to stop the house from getting very hot.
The only noise we heard was the wildlife.....a pack of screeching coyotes at night and mainly the geese in the day. We had a few minor technical issues with the tv(couldn’t get Netflix) but weren’t that bothered as there was too much to do and see outside and the fridge water spout kept pouring into the floor but we were too relaxed to get upset.
We’d highly recommend the house and location fo anyone with kids wanting a fun beautiful place to unwind and relax. The keys resort has two pools and a park with swings etc you can buy passes for..... worth it if your kids like swimming and you don’t want to drive to the lake beach everyday.
Thanks Again 10/10 (12/10 if you had AC)

Beautiful location and amenities at a good price
The house was great for us and the owner was proactive, kind, flexible, and responsive. We had 6 individual thirty-something men (on a genuinely low-key bachelor weekend) staying there and it was a little tight for beds but we made it work between 3 main beds, a bunk bed, and the couches. Realistically, it would sleep 3 couples and 2 individuals comfortably, with the pull-out couch and normal couches still available in a pinch.
One oddity that was not clear to me (but wasn't a problem for us): the pull-out couch room had a completely open doorway - no door at all. It was also formed by a makeshift wall separating that room from a double bed room. Although the makeshift wall was permanent, there were gaps on either side of the wall, allowing occupants of either "room" to see and and hear each other completely. Even if you don't use the pull-out couch room, keep in mind that this particular double bed room does not have much real privacy due to the makeshift wall gaps combined with the lack of door in the pull out room. This whole section is on the far end of the upper story, though, so it is at least secluded. Like I said, this wasn't a problem for us, but I could imagine it being a surprise/problem for somebody else - my wife would not have been OK sleeping in there, for example.
The location was great and the combined kitchen/living room area was perfect for socializing. The views out of this area were amazing and the house was very close to a lot of different activities - too much for us to get to in a single weekend! All house instructions were simple and easy to follow - there wasn't much to do for cleanup, either.
My only minor personal complaints are very minor indeed: the stove is electric, the BBQ is in a weird place (not to be moved), and the TVs were definitely small and dated. It feels a little petty to comment on those but I'm just trying to be fully transparent. Overall, we were extremely happy with our time there.

Top Tahoe quality
The house is huge, very clean, well maintained and stocked to address your every possible need. Location is prime - short easy access to all local ski resorts. The owners were very courteous, calling us on arrival day to check if everything was ok, and responding very quickly when there was a small issue with hot tub. We enjoyed our skiing trip and I would definitely rent this property again!

Couldn't have asked for a better home to celebrate an extended family reunion. House has everything you would expect from a first rate home. Kitchen area and views were outstanding.

Beautiful home with everything we needed.
Great, clean home with lots of space for us, our adult son, and his friends. Great backyard on lagoon with grill that allowed lovely evening cookouts. Kitchen was well-stocked. It was convenient to the Marina where we rented boats. Also, an easy drive for breakfast at Heidi's.

Wonderful experience. Warm and very friendly home. Truly a 5 STAR rating
Our family rented the beautiful home for our Thanksgiving get away. We were 8 adults and 2 young children. Plenty of room for all of us. Separate activity rooms allowing for different activities for kids and adults. The house is well stocked, in fact, more than we expected. Sleeping accommodation are well planned out.
Bernice was so helpful the weeks before we arrived. She was prompt to answer our emails and phone calls. She was very accommodating to our needs allowing us to arrive an hour or 2 earlier than was expected. We were so impressed with the home and the area, we plan to come back again.
The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, ample dishes and silverware for two meals without having to run the dishwasher.
The temperature dropped down to zero one morning but the house stayed nice and cozy and warm. Bernice even arranged for a snow storm for the 5 days we were there! This made the grand kids ever so happy, and the adults even indulged making a snow man and playing in the snow like kids. We could not get the grand kids to come in at night!
The views from all the windows were amazing. It was fun watching the ducks skate on the frozen lagoon.
We saw a coyote each morning run through the back yard, he was more afraid of us than we were of him. The local bald eagle paid us several visits flying over the lagoon.
The home has plenty of games and activities for the kids to play, including their favorite -LEGOS.
Bernice and Neil, thank you for making this available to us. I would recommend this home to anyone without any reservation.

Great family vacation home for all ages
Bernice and Neil,
My wife and I, our two kids and their spouses, and our 5 grand kids (9, 7, 6, 5 and 3) had a great time during our week at 2120 Venice Drive. We were able to spread the 5 grand kids out and most of the time they - and we - got enough sleep. Everyone had enough space.
Our oldest grand daughter was on the top bunk and loved the hideaway above it. She did a lot of reading up there. The 2 boy cousins were both in either a tent in the backyard or in the room with the pullout bed, but they used sleeping bags in both places. The huge yard was great for the kids, and they played with our jai alai baskets and took some batting practice. Our 2 youngest grand daughters both set records for the number of consecutive forward rolls without bumping into anything.
We floated in the lagoon several times, with all grand kids aboard at one time or another with an adult. Got good photos of ducks following us around catching pieces of bread, and even some 3" to 4" fish coming near the surface. We didn't see the beaver, but we saw a couple of bunnies running around in the backyard and ending up under the deck.
The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies and pots, pans, cookie sheets, bowls, dishes, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms had all we needed. Thanks again for all the emails and answers to our questions pre- and post-contract signing. You were always quick to reply with answers and more information.
And we found a great pasta place just north of Tahoe Keys Blvd on Lake Tahoe Blvd. Actually, if you come from Venice Drive, turn left off of Tahoe Keys onto James Ave before you get to Lake Tahoe Blvd. Then turn right into the small strip mall driveway and park at the Liquor Store. His place is to the right as you enter the Liquor Store. Look him up on Yelp.

Fabulous House & Location
Spent 10 days with our two adult children, their spouses and three grandchildren (ages 6,4,3). This house was perfectly set up for our three families providing lots of areas to be together and sleeping/bathroom space for each family; apartment within the house was perfect for one family. Loved spending time in the backyard overlooking the water (watching ducks, geese and beavers) and playing games - lots of room to run around and didn't feel cramped by neighbors. Kitchen was very well stocked and even provided spices we needed a "pinch" of so we didn't have to buy everything imaginable. Grandchildren each caught their very first fish ever at Sawmill Pond - great place for children to fish and actually catch something. Best meal out: lunch at Base Camp Pizza at The Village at Stateline. Absolutely fabulous pizzas and salads - a definite "don't miss" place while you are here. So much to do and see in the Tahoe area and this house was perfect for us. Small problem with the hot tub while we were there. Contacted owners (even though they were out of the Country) and they had service out to us within 24 hours. Absolutely wonderful owners to deal with; very attentive and responsive. If you're looking to visit the Lake Tahoe area, this house will have everything you want. We've rented 12+ homes in locations throughout the US and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful property!

Excellent House for a Special Family Event
Hi Bernice and Neil, My family had a wonderful time staying in your home in the Tahoe Keys. It was the most well-stocked house we have ever stayed in, from the dishes to the towels to the games. We truly enjoyed waking up to your beautiful view every day with our only worry being, "What are we going to do today?" We made good use of our time and got to do a wide variety of things from climbing Mt.Tallac, to riding bikes to the lake to swim in the warmest Lake Tahoe water I have ever experienced, to watching the thunder and lightening show on the back deck and relaxing whenever the mood hit us. Thanks for the use of the bikes- those who came from Oregon couldn't bring their bikes because they were flying to Indiana at at the end of our stay. We will most definitely stay at your place again in the future. Once again, thank you so much for providing us with a house that felt like home. It fit my family beautifully!!! Take care and thank you again.

Family vacation
This was our second stay at 2120 Venice for a family reunion and we are already planning another. The house has everything one needs for a relaxing vacation. We had 9 adults from different parts of the country and 3 children under 2 years, and to a person, this is their favorite vacation place. We jet skied, water skied, pontoon boated, rafted the Truckee river, and never tired of the peddle boat -- all very convenient from this charming home. We have been to Tahoe many times, and consider this to be our very favorite place to stay.

Peace and Relaxation.
My family-Spouse and I, 3 grown kids, 2 spouses, 1 baby and a 12 yr old, enjoyed a beautiful relaxing week in this home. Having the lagoon right there gave such a beautiful setting and was quieter than the Keys. We enjoyed the paddle boat and took our kayaks out frequently. Fished, played games, ate, went bike riding, went to the beach, took our kayaks on the keys as well as the Upper Truckee River. Our only complaint was the sprinklers came on every day and it was too wet to play crouquet! Im sure not intended and will be fixed. We are already talking about next year!

WONDERFUL FAMILY THANKSGI VING
We loved our family Thanksgiving in Bernice and Neil's home. Bernice was always available throughout the entire process, and the sweetest lady. Thank you Bernice!!!
The home was so perfect for our group...4 1/2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 3 seperate TV/visit areas and that enormous kitchen and dining area with seating for 8 was wonderful for board games and meals...We have rented many Tahoe homes over the years and this was unquestionably the "BEST"......Big yard along the water was an added treat!!
