A place with potential.

Two independent bedrooms. Comfy flat. Parking space. Well equiopped kitchen.

Only when we arrived did we get information that the use of washing machine is not free of charge. 10 dollars per washing is pricey. Towels were not fresh, they were not dirty, though. Rules, rules, rules- but they apply guests only.

Location. Close/Access to the church for a family event and to my family’s house.

Oven not working that we needed to warm our food. Limited 1 appliances to use at a time:( Example, when brewing coffee, we can’t use cooking range (1 stove) to heat our food at same time:(

Great family stay, we will be back!

We stayed in a basement unit with two bedrooms, very quiet and comfortable! Located in the nice neighborhood, just 4 minutes drive to a very good grocery store “Fresh Street Market”, which was super handy as we cooked our dinners and breakfast by ourselves. There is a spacious living room like a studio with the kitchen. Everything we needed for cooking was there: all the utensils, cookware, tea and coffee, oil, salt and pepper. The suite is super clean and smells great! Parking is free and it’s on the property in the end of the street. The host is very nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend this place!

Maybe it would be nice to have a dishwasher, otherwise I had to wash all the dishes if I cooked at home, but this is okay for that price!

it was a nice and quiet place for a weekend stay.

More room than a hotel and separate bedrooms is a bonus.

Oven not working, needed better towels and dead batteries in remote, not really a big deal.

Nice quiet place to stay.

It was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and had everything that we needed.

Instructions on how to operate the TV. Not a big deal but we couldn't get it to work.

Ben was a kind, thoughtful host and made our time in Surrey so comfortable.

It was a basement suite with large windows, tucked into the trees at the end of a quiet street. The bedrooms were very comfortable and functional.

Stove only had 2 little burners working. That made it difficult to make a meal. It snowed while we were there and the suite felt cold.

Clean, organize, nice place. I like that there are lights at night coz it was dark when we arrive.

We didn't stay that long. We slept and left after 6hours. The parking is tight.

It was in a good location close to my family. Quite and leafy area.

To pay $10 a load for washing. My paperwork said nothing about that. The air-conditioning was controlled by owner. It was very hot there. Oven not working and ironing board unsatisfactory.

The owner was very intrusive, he was at the door every day. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1 night. We had our friends to share the apartment which he did not like and charged $60 extra for them to stay. We moved next morning as there was no heating. Wouldn't recommend..

Exceptional

A neat and clean apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. We loved that it was private and quiet. Two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom. We will stay here again and highly recommend it! Price is reasonable.

Great little place to stay on a getaway.

I loved how the host greeted us. He made sure to see if we needed anything. I loved the location. I loved how convenient it was to have a kitchen and living separate from the bedrooms with all the items we needed, like the can opener etc. I loved all the details like parking, lights at night, thorough instructions, availability to laundry, and the bed in the one room was soooooo comfortable. Was a dream. I liked that were was a cupboard in the bathroom, cause the bathroom is small without counter space. I loved how the host helped me prior and during the stay. Instacart. Ca was recommended to us and I'm so glad that we were able to order groceries etc right to the door.

When we checked in, it was clean, but not thoroughly cleaned. There was only 1 mirror for the entire place and it was in the bathroom. Really needs mirrors in the bedrooms. The sofa bed as described in the booking didn't pull out at all, so my husband had to sleep with our son and me and 1 daughter on the other bed and one teenager on the small couch.

I recommend this suite rental - right from the owner communication to the value of the property.

The initial communication, professionalism and cordiality of the owner was superb. We felt very welcome, right from the beginning. Directions/instructions were very clear and organized in terms of procedures. Covid protocols were followed and the suite layout was perfect for us. Excellent location and parking - easy to use keypad and we felt secure.

These are suggestions, not criticisms, overall, we had an extremely good stay. For a 3-night stay, I would recommend a few more towels for two people as well as some facecloths. Maybe this is personal preference or we should have been prepared with our own, but facecloths would have been a nice touch. We found the floor and the doorknobs a tiny bit "sticky" - perhaps just the cleaning solution needed a rinse afterwards - not a big deal but just something to note. I don't like writing "negatives" - these are minor things. I feel that if we had mentioned these things on Day 1, the owner would have immediately assisted us, so I don't wish to belabour these small suggestions. We really enjoyed our stay!
