About this apartment rental

The apartment is situated on the first and last floor of a XIX century Favignana house, walking distance from the harbour and the central square in a very quiet area. Its windows look on the village rooftops, on a typical little street and on one of the famous gardens grown in the ancient limestone quarries that are spread around the island. The apartment has a balcony and a 20 sqm terrace at its first level and several terraces covering more than 100 sqm on the roof, from which one can admire the village, the Levanzo island and the Saint Catherine mountain and castle. Both the first-level and roof decks are fully equipped with tables chairs, beach chairs and shady areas. The roof deck has a wonderful veranda.
The 100 sqm apartment has a large living room with a fitted open kitchen accessing the terrace, two large independent double bedrooms, another large connecting room that can sleep one more person and two bathrooms with shower. All the rooms are historical, with vaulted ceilings and ceramic floors in Trapanese style. From the connecting room, a private internal staircase leads to a small indoor space with large windows opening on the rooftop veranda.
No need for a car! You can walk home from the harbour in a few minutes and all services (bike rentals, coffee, restaurants and markets) are close by. For swimming, several coves are walking or bike distance from home.

We had an excellent stay. Giuseppe's place is situated in a perfect location for those who are looking to enjoy all the amenities of town without giving up access to the beaches. The space is incredibly clean, spacious, and functional. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace! Giuseppe was also very helpful throughout our stay. Not only was he prompt in addressing all of our logistical concerns, but he also provided us with excellent dining and swimming suggestions. Overall, we had a fantastic experience in Favignana and we will definitely be returning to Giuseppe's place again in the future!

I can't recommend Giuseppe's place enough. It is on a quiet street but literally 2-3 minutes from the nearest restaurant, wine bar, gelateria, bakery and 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket. The location is perfect but so is the apartment itself. We loved the outside spaces (and the hammock!) and the beautiful interior decor. The apartment is spacious and has absolutely everything we needed for an easy self-catering holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I go back to Favignana. We were 3 adults and 2 children (both 10 yrs old) and we all absolutely loved it and did not want to leave.

Bell'appartamento nel centro di Favignana, provvisto di tutto e di più. L'unico suggerimento che potremmo fare ai proprietari è di mettere le zanzariere nelle camere da letto, per poter usufruire del poco di aria fresca durante la notte. Per il resto niente da obiettare.

Per chi vuole stare in paese, non riusciamo (coppia con due figli) a pensare a qualcosa di meglio. Posizione centrale ma tranquilla e fuori dalla confusione. Casa splendida sia come spazi (ampi e funzionali) che come atmosfera (almeno per i nostri gusti), fornita di tutto (cucina e attrezzi relativi, condizionatori nuovi - per chi vuole-, due bagni, grandi terrazzi), luminosa, allegra e rilassante. Il terrazzo superiore, poi, è magnifico (la scala interna però è tanto ben fatta quanto inevitabilmente angusta, lo segnaliamo solo per chi avesse difficoltà di movimento): grandissimo e con vista praticamente a 360 gradi (mare compreso). Diciamo che la sconsiglieremmo solo a chi ama la freddezza precisa e un po' asettica di un albergo (per carità, son gusti...). Per parte nostra, speriamo di tornare prestissimo. N&R

Siamo rientrati ieri da Favignana l'appartamento molto carino, e completo di tutto ma proprio tutto, con uno splendido terrazzo arredato, centrale ma molto tranquillo! Il signor Giuseppe gentile e disponibile idem la signora Rosanna, che ci ha fatto strada dal porto e dato varie informazioni riguardanti l'appartamento e l'isola. Di sicuro se dovessi tornare, sceglierei ancora questo appuntamento.

Dopo essere sbarcati, la sig.ra Rosanna, oltre ad accoglierci puntualmente, ha dato preziosi consigli su noleggi e informazioni su appartamento e isola. La casa si compone di 3 camere da letto matrimoniali. Una indipendente con aria condizionata, le altre due comunicanti con pale a soffitto. Cucina comoda e zona esterna bella da utilizzare. Accoglienza perfetta e disponibilità dei referenti. Posizione centrale ottima.per la sera per uscire a piedi. Consigliata.

La casa è situata in una via trasversale a quella pricipale e molto vicina quindi ai negozi, ai ristoranti, al porto, pur essendo molto tranquilla. L'alloggio è arredato in maniera originale con tanti piacevoli pezzi di ceramica,parecchi libri, ed è equipaggiato di tutto quanto può servire. Piacevole la terrazza, ventilata, dove abbiamo sempre mangiato. Ci hanno colpito la disponibilità dei proprietari a rispondere ad alcune nostre richieste e l'attenzione della signora Rosanna. Noi abbiamo portato la macchina ed è stato possibile posteggiarla sempre molto vicino sul lungomare.

Ho alloggiato presso questo appartamento con il mio fidanzato e un'altra coppia di amici dal 14 al 22 agosto. L'appartamento è situato in una posizione molto strategica, a pochi passi dalla piazza centrale in una zona comunque tranquilla. L'appartamento piuttosto ampio composto da 2 camere da letto (1 con aria condizionata e 1 con pala) piú altri due letti situati in un disimpegno, offre tutti i servizi necessari (lavatrice, phon, doccia, lavatoio esterno, asciugamani ecc.) Migliorabile la pulizia dei locali, inoltre sfortunatamente uno dei soffitti di una delle due stanze da letto perdeva dell'intonaco, ma ci è stato spiegato dalla gentilissima signora Rosanna che in alta stagione è stato impossibile sistemarlo e che avrebbero provveduto al più presto. Chicca inaspettata l'ampio e numeroso terrazzo situato sopra l'appartamento per aperitivi al tramonto o per ammirare le stelle di notte. Comodissimo il terrazzino adiacente alla cucina, ricco di piante e decorato con piastrelle colorate, per colazioni all'aperto.

Great apartment

Great location - close to the main piazzas but in a quiet street (we loved bike riding around the island all day long, finding a beach kiosk for a sunset view and aperitif, then riding to town for dinner, then riding 1 minute back home). Apartment bright and characterful, and better than pics/description. Host v. helpful - recommendation for beaches, bike rental, restaurants, etc. Favignana exceeded our expectations - we will definitely be back, and would not hesitate to book this apartment again. Thank you for a great stay!

Siamo stati in questa casa tre settimane e ci siamo trovati bene, la casa e' vicina al centro del paese, ma silenziosa. I proprietari sono molto gentili. Suggerirei di mettere degli scuri nella stanza da letto e un tavolino con delle sedie sulla terrazza superiore per poter godere del fresco nel tardo pomeriggio e la sera.
