Lovely stay with a lovely host

Kindness of the host, home-made pastries, breakfast nice, modern room, very clean, nice bathroom, nice decoration = perfect stay

More of the delicious pastries (I'm kidding but they were so good ;)) Maybe add one slice of toast to eat the jam with ? (french don't put jam on croissant ahaha)

It was clean, tidy, warm perfectly adequate and the owner was lovely and friendly. I'm a returning customer as I know how good the place is from previous visits.

The room was clean, and were provided with banana, some snacks and cup porridge for breakfast.

The place is quite hidden, the Google map didn’t take us to the right place, luckily we met 2 nice ladies to point us to the right house. A clearer instructions would have been more helpful. The host lady was very friendly but the husband was less so. We had a video call with friends before 10:30pm , he told us we were too noisy to disturb him from going to sleep because he had to get up early next morning, there is big signs to tell guests to keep volume down and not running shower from 11pm to 6am which made us uncomfortable staying there. We felt they should put this condition in the description of the property, if we saw them, we probably would not have stayed there.

A beautiful compact room with all the amenities needed by a single traveller.

My single room had a 3/4 bed, fridge, desk, TV, kettle, great wifi and a lovely shower room. Simple breakfast ingredients were given for an in-room breakfast. Perfect for me. Lovely view. Short walk into Portree. Norah even let me know that the Northern Lights were happening, and when she found out it was my birthday she left a rose, a card and some chocolates - very sweet!

15/10 experience; the place was wonderful, outstandingly so considering the price

Perfect location with a stunning view, immaculate room and building, snacks and drinks in the room, daily housekeeping even though we didn’t request it, all the amenities (towels, shampoos, coffee makers, hair dryers, etc.) you could need, super comfy and warm even on extra cold days, and the host was sweet, friendly, and accommodating. And the rates were crazy affordable considering all of this. One of my best stays anywhere!

No criticism whatsoever. It was perfect.

Great little room to stay in. Very clean and comfortable, very friendly and welcoming host! Room had lots of lovely extras - a map of the local attractions with the best ones circled, and snacks like muesli bars, yogurt and bananas provided which was a very pleasant touch.

I arrived late in the evening, but there was a friendly guide with my name at the entrance. And there were several snacks. There were also things needed to supply energy for tomorrow's trek. Very satisfied.

The room were we stayed was really beautiful, with nice sunlight coming from several windows: a roof hatch from where you could see the moon from the bed, lovely!! And another window to the outside. Two key things: both the mattress and the shower are really really good. The host leaves you several amenities like: fruit, tea, coffee, porridge, juice, water, Greek yogurt, chocolate and cereal bars. The room is spacious, we could leave all our big luggage open on the floor and still have space to move around. There's a table with two chairs where we could comfortably have breakfast. Norah the host is great, left us a map with great suggestions, we ended up staying for two nights. Thanks Norah for a wonderful stay

Nothing to dislike, we would definitely stay there again.

Quaint and comfortable

What a delightful place to stay in Skye. The personal touches made all the difference and it was very comfortable. I wish we had longer but I would certainly go back if in Skye.

Pleasant stay

Bright spacious room with mini fridge. Lots of literature available about Skye. Check in and out straight forward and place was spotless.

Small towels, bathroom in eaves and far too tight for tall person. For £120 per night breakfast was measly.

Comfy rooms and a great host

Our host, Norah, was absolutely great! Communication was clear and friendly, and Norah went above and beyond to make sure we got there alright and that our stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was spotless and comfy, and had all the facilities we needed. The building itself and the rooms were quite cozy.

One minor downside if you come by public transportation, which we did, is that Feochan is about a 20 minute walk from the town.

Excellent accomodation for an Isle of Skye tour.

Room was quite new. Lots of snacks available, without extra pay. Fast and stable WiFi. Shuttle service to city centre available.

Fridge was quite loud. But thats a minor point.

If you ever go to Portree, this is the place to stay in!

This was a true example of a hospitality at its finest! The hosts went out of their way to help us feel like at home. Due to the weather conditions (a storm) we spent more time in the room and had the opportunity to spend more time with the hosts also. The room has everything you need for few days stay. It has a small fridge in the room, which is perfect. It has a private parking in front of the house and a view on the lake. Good location, walking distance from the center of Portree. If you ever go to Portree, this is the place you need to stay at! Thank you, Norah, for everything and see you very soon again ;)

The breakfast was limited, as no cooked breakfast. The location was perfect. Very clean, roomy room, equipped with all your needs. Would recommend, Norah was most helpful.

Excellent host called Norah

Norah the host was very helpful even advising us a couple of weeks before to book for dinner as places get booked out fast. Norah did offer to drive us into town if we needed a lift. Room was comfortable and modern. Shower was good. Breakfast was adequate.

0.9 miles walk into town which we found ok because the weather was good on a rainy day would not have been pleasant.
