This cottage was absolute paradise.
Everything was just so wonderful - the view, the relaxation, the beach being a mere 30 feet from the lanai. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot.
The space is set up perfectly to feel spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make/have meals.
Many thanks to Terrie for the caring, kind, and quick communication as well.

The cottage was wonderfully comfortable and well furnished/supplied, in a great location on O'ahu. It was perfect for my short trip!.
My only concern is that the standard sized pick-up truck that I rented at HNL would never have been able to get into parking spot #16, if the slot next to it (#15) had been used. I was lucky that slot next to mine was unoccupied throughout my entire stay. The rental needs to explicitly advertise the very tight parking/maneuvering radius that goes with the assigned parking stall for this cottage, and advise renters to bring a compact vehicle.
Thanks again for the great accomodation, Terrie!

My wife and I were here for our Anniversary. It was a great cottage. Its just as described. The beach was wonderful, with opportunities to see sea turtles steps away. We would love to have been able to stay longer and will be back.

We wanted a relaxing location to getaway from the busyness of the big city, and this place was just that. 10 steps out the back patio, and you’re on the beach. The place was cool enough with the fans, and it had everything we needed to have peace of mind, including kitchen items to cook in when we wanted to. Definitely a spot to come back to.

First off, Terrie is great to work with…she’s quick to respond, answered all my questions and gave us great tips! This is a great little cottage that reminds me of a south Florida bungalow. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the refrigerator/freezer is great! This was our first time in Hawaii/Oahu and this is the coast to stay on! Easy to get anywhere on the island from here! We traveled over the entire island and saw all it’s beauty! A great week! Loved the lanai and our own beach and listening to the ocean. My husband swam with turtles! (Of course, that’s when I wasn’t in the water…Lol!) The last afternoon I was looking forward to floating on tubes and snorkeling at the beach, but alas rain came so we enjoyed just being in the lanai! Saw our only rainbow on Oahu that afternoon and got a great pic to remember our fabulous week! Mahalo Terrie!

The location directly on the beach could not be better! The lanai is beautiful and it was so peaceful to relax while listening to the ocean waves. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again!

A perfect restful place to recovery from a large family gathering before returning to the Mainland.

Perfect property for a couple. Although, the place is a little dated and tight, the views can't be beat. Walking right onto a beautiful beach was the best feature of this property. Terrie is a great host and called to check up on us and see if we made it in okay. She also provided great tips on where to spot turtles in the early hours of the morning.
Pros: on a beautiful beach, amazing lanai, thoughtfully furnished with all essential items, good internet, walking distance to shops and amazing food trucks
Cons: tight space, a little dated, no a/c or dishwasher, noise from neighboring units.
Overall, we had a positive experience and recommended for a couple who are willing to overlook some of the drawbacks.

Cute little cottage on the beach.
We saw turtles nesting on the beach and swam with them right outside.
Great winds kept us cool at night
Kitchen/laundry and all the amenities of home.
Terrie was a thoughtful and responsive host-even checked in on us when the power was out in the area.
The location was perfect for us to set out on adventures all over Oahu.
Fantastic cottage to use as your home base and a home away from home.
Quiet area, but life starts early on the island and you can hear roosters and people outside. Not an issue for us, we were trying to make use of every minute, but would be hard to sleep late if that’s your lifestyle .
Loved this little cottage with its beautiful lanai

Couldn't ask for anything else for this little GEM on Oahu. It is great to get away from the hussle of Waikiki and enjoy the North Shore. This little bungalow is right on the beach! Perfect romantic place for a simple get away!

This cottage has great potential. It is a lovely location right on the beach. Turtles come up on the beach in the evening and you can see them while snorkeling right in front of the cottage. Terri the host is quite easy to get ahold of if needed. It was also easy to fine (even in the pouring rain). Parking spot is quite small and would be hard for a larger car to get into the spot. (We had a Corolla). The inside of the cottage is well equipped. The problems we had we with the cleanliness of the unit. To be honest it could use a thorough cleaning. There was also a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen. We were not comfortable preparing food. I would use some pesticide spray on the counter but as soon as you brought out any food to prepare a meal there they were. Our expenses went up on this trip because we were eating away from the place.. I don’t make these comments to take away from the owner however as a person who only gets a holiday like this every few years I would have like to have known. I can be a little bit of a clean freak but perhaps cleaning whatever was on the wall behind the sliding door in the bathroom might be necessary. Great place if you are not a clean freak and don’t mind sharing you meal with ants.

Quiet, just a few using the beach which we appreciate. Groceries and restaurants within 20 minutes. Tate parks and other beaches very close.

Our stay was absolutely perfect for us. After a week in busy Waikiki, the peacefulness and much slower pace of the Northeast side of the island was perfect for the soul. The cottage itself was so welcoming-with everything one could need for beach living, and playing—and it was literally 20 steps to the beach! Everything from linens to kitchen stuff was clean and available, and the owner was always available to answer questions. …..and that lanai-our favorite place in the cottage!!! From early morning coffee/sunrises, to evening meals watching and listening to the ocean-it was simply an outstanding place to “be”. The sunrises were stunningly beautiful, the breezes were lovely, and if one is an early riser, you might be lucky enough to see the turtles (some HUGE) resting on the beach before they return to the ocean for the day. This was our second stay in the immediate area, and this cottage is, by far, the best fit for us! We look forward to visiting the island and staying at this little bit of paradise again. Aloha, and mahalo, Terrie, for sharing Paradise with us! 💞

The view is to die for!!! The patio is very comfortable. It is definitely a COTTAGE as the owner refers to it. Unfortunately, the weather was so perfect while we were there that it was too hot for us to sleep at night. We had no airflow. There were two nice floor fans and an above fan that tried to cool it down for us. We come from no humidity, though. We kept the windows open, but it wasn't enough for us. But, if you want a perfect beach, don't mind a tiny coffee pot, and don't mind doing your own dishes on vacation, this is the place for you. We came for a wedding and had a lot of luggage as a result. There is no way we could have fit a 3rd person in it. The bathroom and shower are very small, too. But, if you just bring your beach clothes, a 3rd person can fit. I never used the pool because of our schedule and the hours it was open. The laundry is in the highrise next to it. Also, you get one assigned parking spot which is VERY close to the cottage. But, you better be a great driver to park in it. We had a Camaro and could barely swing into it when the other car was in it's slot. The owner really needs a diagram of which condo of the 4 in the Quadroplex is yours. And, there should be big lettering on the door to help you identify you are entering the proper door upon check-in.
That would make the check-in process easier. I was afraid I was going to enter the wrong cottage. It was hit and miss.

Loved this cottage! Literally steps from the water, nice lanai on ground floor looking out over the ocean. Only down side was Construction ongoing on the grounds and slightly cramped parking, but once that is cleaned up this place would be literally perfect for a nice quiet relaxing stay on the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.

Great place to vacation. Older place but clean in great location.

Breathtaking views in front and back. Mountains on the one side ocean on the other. I got a little hot in the mornings, a portable A/C unit might have been nice, but otherwise it was great. Tons of snorkel gear in a protected bay and sea turtles on the beach at night. Check out the food trucks and beer garden in Kahuku!

Charming rustic cottage with a lovely lanai looking directly out to the ocean; perfect for relaxing or sharing a meal while enjoying gentle tradewinds. We fell asleep each night to the sounds of the waves coming into shore and woke to spectacular sunrises.
Our host answered our questions quickly and offered great suggestions to make our stay even more special.
Many thanks and we look forward to returning.

Property is perfect for husband/wife trip. Quaint cottage on the beach. Pretty far from north shore and Waikiki so plan accordingly. It’s close to Kalua Ranch and the Polynesian Cultural Center. House has all beach amenities and you couldn’t even tell the place didn’t have ac with all the breezes. I will say, if you’re looking for a place to get ~cozy~ with your spouse, this is not it. Very little privacy with the beach and neighboring condos. Overall 5/5 for quiet beach trip.

I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay! We enjoyed the walks on the beach, sea turtles and lovely accommodations. We hope to return someday! Thank you Terri for sharing your home with us! Aloha!

This is an older beach cottage (part of a 4-plex) in front of a high rise. It could use some updating and a thorough cleaning. The lanai was fantastic! And makes up for any of the interior’s shortcomings. Fabulous view and protected from the constant wind. The cottage was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. Look for turtles resting on the beach at night!

Very sweet cottage right up on the beach. Reasonably priced and Terrie was very accomodating and was prompt in communicating! Highly reccomend.

Terrie’s place is off the beaten path and exactly what we needed to finish off our island hopping honeymoon! We went snorkeling in the beach steps from the cottage and saw 4 sea turtles in 1 day! The house was clean and even though there is construction being done in the main building it didn’t affect our stay at all. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Oahu!

Great location! This older unit has that north shore country vibe with an amazing lanai. Woke up each morning to watch the sun rise and watch the turtles head back out to the sea.

Lovely stay in the Hawaiian countryside. The view of the ocean and the sound of the waves at night is fantastic. The sunrise is amazing. Enjoyed this getaway. Would strongly recommend, this lifestyle just comes with a few easy pointers to follow.

We enjoyed our stay. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and waking up every morning seeing the sunrise from the lanai. Beautiful location and a very cute cottage.

This place checked all our boxes. Morning coffee on the lanai watching the sunrise over the ocean which is actually 50’ away. Well manicured grounds. Roomy accommodations with everything needed to thrive. Swim friendly beach(some coral and rocks you can avoid). Well situated on the island for ease of exploration. The owner is very cordial and helpful with any questions you may have.

A private cottage right on the beach. Ongoing construction but not the bothersome. A home awY from home

Location was great and worked well for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and accessibility to all we wanted to see and do. Comfortable and quite.

We weren't disappointed to find this cottage only 50 or so feet from the ocean's edge. The wind in the palm trees and the gentle waves crashing on the shore made a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Who needs air conditioning when you can listen to that all day and night long.
We loved drinking coffee on the lanai and watching the sunrise each morning with just a 5 second walk to the beach. Terrie was very helpful and informative about anything we needed. It was a great experience!

The location can not be beat. You are just steps from the ocean and the sunrises are amazing. The lanae is the best part. No air conditioning, but there are fans and it is definitely ok. And Terrie is very easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little cottage. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September. Nice little cottage. Great for a couple, don’t know if I would want to do it with any more. You are right on the beach. Twenty feet to the ocean! We had coffee and breakfast every morning on the lanai. If staying here try Aloha Shrimp truck. 1/2 mile down the road. Great food and large portions. Only recommendation is maybe update blinds for some more privacy.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here but there are some things you should know before you decide to book:
Pros
-Stunning views, great place to watch the sunrise or sunset
-Nice beach, it isn’t open to the public so it is less crowded, we saw 4 sea turtles on our last day!
-Snorkel gear, beach towels, chair, umbrella, and boogie boards are provided
-Convenient location, Shark’s cove and other North shore hot spots were only 25-30 minutes away, 45 min to Waikiki
-Aloha shrimp and a small market is right across the street
-1 Parking space included
Cons
-There is very little privacy, lots of people walking by all day, they look right into the living room and bedrooms so keep the curtains closed if it bothers you
-We had some issues with noisy neighbors, security was pretty responsive and handled it right away but just know you might have to deal with unwanted parties right next to your bedroom window
-No A/C, there are plenty of fans but even with all of the windows open it still felt humid and muggy even compared to outside
-The cottage itself felt a little rundown and dingy, stained curtains, dusty shelves, old appliances and cookware, could definitely use an update
-The space is very cluttered and lacks storage, there are 8 small drawers for clothes but the largest ones at the bottom are filled with someone else’s belongings
Some suggestions:
-Replace the water filter in the sink
-Replace small cable tv with a smart TV (no streaming currently available)
-Label keys and laundry area
