About this house rental

This is a great location and has everything you want in a beach getaway. We have beach cruisers for riding the boardwalk, surfboards for the ocean and paddleboards for the bay. We are located 1/2 block to the bay and 1 short block to the Pacific Ocean Tower 19, where there is a designated swim and surf area so you can surf and swim without worries. We provide plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach wagon to help with getting toys to the beach, so no need to bring with you. Just drop off your bags and enjoy!

This is a 3 story townhome. There is an attached tandem car garage which will fit 2 small cars or LG SUV or Pickup for parking and a washer/dryer for your convenience on the 1st floor with a designated BBQ grill and 6 person patio table for grilling and chilling in the front. There is a king bed located in the master bedroom with private bath and a pull out queen sofa sleeper on the 2nd floor, then 3 single beds with a trundle with full bath on the 3rd floor, along with a private small deck with a seating area.
Amazing local restaurants are within walking distance, there is a rental place located within a block as well if there aren’t enough bikes or surfboards in the garage. Also there is the Mission Bay Aquatic Center is 1 block away if you want to rent a sail/power boat, couple kayaks, or Jet Skis. The area is 10 minutes to the airport, La Jolla, Old Town, Harbor Drive, Liberty Station, Balboa Park, the Zoo, Seaworld and Point Loma.

This house really is located in the center of all that Mission Beach has to offer.

We had the best stay at this place. Perfect location to restaurants and beach all within walking distance. Host was amazing and was quick to respond when we had questions. Had beach toys which my kids loved. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely beach house. It was the perfect location, with the beach being a 2 minute walk away and other attractions being a short 15-20 minute drive away (San Diego Zoo/Balboa Park, Old Town San Diego, etc.). The owner was easy to get a hold of and answered any questions we had. Plenty of amenities available. My kids really appreciated all the beach toys, bodyboards, and board games. Thank you for the lovely stay in Mission Beach, it was the perfect addition to our vacation! :)

This rental is literally steps away from the beach and bay. It is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including lots of beach/water gear. My family had an amazing time in Mission Beach and would definitely stay here again!

This property is located walking distance to most places in mission beach. Easy access to beach and bay sides. Good restaurants walkable, honorable mention to Olives for breakfast! The home had everything we needed, from linens to kitchen items. Definitely recommend staying here. Communication was great.

The hosts are top notch. Check in was a breeze. I’ve stayed in dozens of VRBO’s & this place by far had the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen. Comfy beds too. It’s in the thick of everything, so a bike or walking is all you need. They supply all the beach gear too. Paddle boards & surfboards. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was the perfect home base for our visit to San Diego and the Mission Beach area. A super easy walk to the beach! Wagon and beach toys were used almost daily! Home is lovely, just as pictured and described. Host was incredibly fast to respond to all of our questions during our stay.

Upstairs more like a children’s room only that’s all! Thank you we had a really nice time location great. Cars squeezed in the garage great beach amenities!! Had a little trouble finding with the alleys having no names figured it out.

I book two weeks a year on VRBO for my family and the six of us all agreed this has been the best one in six years! Surf boards, paddle boards, boogie boards, wagon, ez up canopy, beach chairs, location, restaurants etc, etc etc

Very cute place! The location was so great! We loved being able to easily walk to the bay or the ocean, we had a lot of fun paddle boarding on the Bay! Would definitely come back again!

We brought our kids ages 1.5-11 and it was perfect for us. They even had a baby gate, pack n play and a little portable high chair/booster! The location was perfect walking distance to either the bay side or open ocean side. Close to everything you could possibly need or want to do. We absolutely loved our stay.

We start summer with a short stay in mission Bay each year. This was our second time at this property. It’s the perfect location and space for us. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. All the beach equipment in the garage is a really nice touch!

Owner created a very serene beach house. The house had a lot of beach accessories which we appreciated. The Keirog Coffee was a nice touch as we are jug heads in the morning .. Location is spot on as it is far enough from PB and the amusement park it is peaceful.

We unfortunately came to San Diego during the cloudiest, rainy cold week but coming from Washington we didn’t care! This house was perfect for being stuck inside. So much to do. So clean. Spacious. We loved it! Got to enjoy the beach the last day with the boogie boards! We will definitely be back!!

We had a great time. Close to the beach, bay and attractions. A few things need to be updated in the house (plumbing, carpet, toilets, table and chairs, etc.) Other than that, I would recommend this property.

The thing we loved most was all the variety of beach gear, chairs, toys, paddle boards.. everything you need to enjoy the beach! Kitchen was well stocked, beds were clean and comfortable.

The accommodations we were nice. The host was great. The beach equipment was awesome!! Bords, bikes, chairs, towels, wagon and sand toys. The garage was tight but we were able to park 2 small cars nose to tail. The bed was comfy. I'd recommend this beach location.

This property really worked for us. There were four of us and having two bathrooms, and beds, where everyone could sleep, was great. The location was within walking distance of everything we needed. We really appreciated having all the equipment available to us. In previous years we had to rent equipment and because it was provided (stand-up paddle boards) we used them multiple times on our visit and tried new sports too (surfing)!

Lovely, clean, and well appointed condo very close to the beach (truly steps away). My family had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Five stars for all the beach equipment ! Everything you need, including two bikes. Beds were comfortable. Great walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars. Belmont park just down the road with great family atmosphere. Loved our stay .

Nice property, easy walk to beach. Weekend nights were pretty loud with the windows open due to partiers from the open-air bar about a block away. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay. The beach gear into house was a nice bonus!

The location is perfect for the beach and for local attractions. The owners thought of everything that you would need to enjoy the property. We had two kids with us and were grateful for all the sand toys, bikes, wagon and other beach gear. Would definitely return!

We spent an awesome relaxing week at this Beach house! Super clean and has all the toys you will need for a fun day at the beach! Plenty of great places to eat that are easily within walking distance. We went to the Zoo and also several Padres games and all were easy and quick to get to from this location as well. We would definitely stay again!

We had such a wonderful time at this condo! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for the beach. The outside area was great for meals. One thing that I did not realize was that the patio is a shared patio. It was a non-issue for us because the family renting the other side of the condo was lovely, but if they had not been I could see that shared patio being a problem. The walk to the bay takes about 30 seconds which is perfect for a family with young kids. The walk to the beach takes just a few minutes longer. There are so many wonderful restaurants in the area that you really never even need to get in your car once you get to the condo!I read on one review that the garage was hard to get into if you had a larger car. . . . .we have a Suburban and were able to back into the garage with no problem. The garage was plenty long for big vehicles! We really appreciated being able to keep the 'Burb in the garage and not have to worry about it!We loved our stay and truly did not want to leave! Thank you!!

The property was clean, easy check in. I had questions and that got right back to me also let them know the garbage can was broke, so I would not be responsible and they brought a new one within a couple hours! Very good service and attentive to your emails. Will be back again

Here are the pros & cons of this property: Pros: * Property Manager very responsive * Location is convenient to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants * Kitchen is very well stocked if you want to cook * Beach toys are very good - excellent chairs and even a beach cart Cons: * If you are planning on parking in the garage, you must have a SMALL car. The garage is located in an alley way and it's hard to pull the car in and out (and probably not even possible) if you don't have a small car * We stayed over the weekend and it was very noisy. There was a very loud party on Friday night that went well into the morning The windows provide no insulation. Even though they were all closed, you could hear sound as if they were open. Not a con, but some guidance for finding the house because the GPS will take you to a random spot on the main road. The garage and access to the house in located in an alley way (which is very common in SD). As a point of reference, there is a house on the main road that has a large dark green deck that you can't miss - that's how you access the alley way. All in all, I would stay here again.
