About this apartment rental

Enjoy carefree beach living and spectacular ocean views from our beautiful, newly renovated and fully appointed apartment - the perfect weekend escape for just the two of you, or a longer break with the kids.

The space

Our light, airy sea-facing apartment is on the second floor of a 12 apartment block, up two short flights of stairs. Clean, modern lines with light wood in sun-bleached hues and soft, comfortable sofas in nautical blues and whites add to your sense of utter relaxation.

The open-plan living area incorporates a modern kitchen, dining area, lounge and balcony.

A fully appointed kitchen is equipped for you to whip up a gourmet meal, and includes a full size fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/hob, wine fridge to keep your Chardonnay chilled, a coffee maker, dishwasher and crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils. Sadly, a chef isn't included.

Our dining area includes a 6-seater glass dining room table, which leads to the balcony where you can put a few steaks on the Weber barbecue, relax and enjoy the ever changing seascape, the sound of the waves gently lapping at the shore, a gentle breeze and occasionally, the sighting of a pod of whales or dolphins. It's also the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. On colder evenings, wrap up in our soft blankets and watch the moonlight reflected on the gentle waves below.

Sink into overstuffed comfy sofas after a lazy sun kissed day spent at the beach, where you can use the Wi-fi to upload holiday pics, or catch up on your favourite series or a movie on a large flat-screen TV.

Sink happily into a comfortable Queen sized bed and get lulled into a blissful sleep amongst crisp sheets and linen and a soft puffy duvet in the master bedroom. Extra blankets are provided in the cupboard, for those who suffer from permanently cold feet. The bed also has a LED touch for your convenience.

The second bedroom is comfortably furnished with two single beds and extra blankets in the drawers below the bed.

Our bathroom is small, but luxuriously appointed. You'll probably get your best ideas here as you relax under the gentle, caressing water of the rain shower and there are heated towel racks too! A hairdryer is also provided.

Our guests have access to a small lock-up garage directly below the apartment. The washing machine and dryer are stored here, and are for our guests use. There is plenty of street parking available.

Guest access

Our guests have direct access to Bongin Bongin Beach via a security gate on the apartment property. This beach is popular with walkers, swimmers and body boarders, and is quieter as there is no direct street access.

A communal grassed area with tables, chairs and sun lounges at the front of the apartment is also available for guests.

There are a number of terrific restaurants and cafes within short walking distance, while a number of shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and the library and post shop are a 20 minute walk, or 5 minute drive from us.

There are some lovely walking and cycling paths in the area, along with the Mona Vale Golf Course, while numerous beaches and a national park lie further afield.

The centre of Sydney is a 50 minute bus trip away.

Interaction with guests

We use our apartment for a weekend getaway and holiday home, while we live and work in Sydney. You can contact me via phone, email, text and WhatsApp.

A friend in the block will be able to help with matters requiring immediate assistance.

Other things to note

We are happy to host longer stays. There are reduced rates for stays of one week or longer.

All linen and towels are provided.
Basic toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, sun block and toilet paper.
Cleaning products include dish washing liquid and laundry liquid.

An iron and ironing board are provided.

Condiments include salt, pepper, herbs, tea bags and coffee. Limited Nescafe pods are available for the coffee machine.

I can’t say enough about how helpful Madeline was, nor how special this place was for us. The view is incredible, the space comfortable and inviting, with lots of little touches that speak to an owner intuiting everything a visitor might need. We could have happily spent a week or more there, and in retrospect now, it was our favorite place of the trip. Many thanks Madeline!

The property is beautiful - the homey touches from the host, the view from the living area and balcony, the whales meandering past and falling asleep to the sound of the surf - just a delight. Seabreeze is such a perfect and unique property ideally located opposite such a beautiful beach and area. So much so we didnt want to leave at the end of our holiday. The attention to detail and superb decoration / fit out is a true stand out. Our family just loved staying here and Madeline was just the perfect host who was super friendly, flexible and helpful. The apartment is exactly as pictured/described, with stunning views over the beach. The apartment was spacious, immaculately presented and had a pantry full of everyday items that we could use. The host even left a box of ice creams for us in the freezer - such a lovely touch! The host was very responsive and you can tell that they take great pride in making their guests feel confortable. There was only one disappointment - the onsite parking in a private garage is so narrow that you'd struggle to fit your car in. I tried twice and gave up, and resorted to parking on the street. We always lucked out with a park not too far away, but still a disappointment given off street parking is advertised. Happily recommend this apartment if you're after a laid back place to kick back and enjoy Sydney's northern beaches.

Absolutely loved this apartment, great location, great apartment. Little welcome touches on arrival from the hosts, made it that bit more special. Everything you could want is in the apartment. Only thing i would do differently is to take an extension cable, as plug sockets were limited. Otherwise absolutely loved our stay. Thank you Madeline

This was our second time here, and it was just as good as the first time. The place is kept to the highest standard. There are lots of incidental items that make the holiday stress free. The check in process is so easy, the owners are so easy to deal with. They always reply promptly. Cannot find fault with this property or the owner. Will be back

This apartment is incredible. The view of the ocean was THE BEST I have ever had. It was beautifully furnished, impeccably clean and so comfortable. Well located on the Northern Beaches, but so quiet and peaceful. If that was not good enough, Madeline went to great lengths to ensure our stay was perfect. Her communication was quick and helpful, and she very kindly arranged special treats for the birthday girl. I am immensely impressed with this property and will definitely be going back!

We had a wonderful 8 night stay at this property and would stay again if the opportunity arises. We arrived at night and could hear the waves and see the beach but awoke to a breathtaking view of the bay. The condo is equipped with everything you need to cook, clean, and play at the beach. The laundry in the garage is very well set up and is an added bonus for longer stays. The space is perfect for a family of four! We did access the bus line a couple of times to go into the city and catch a ferry. This was very straightforward and easy to do. We also walked to get a few groceries and meander the shops close by. There is a also a great little coffee shop the next beach over that we visited a couple mornings on our daily beach walks. Madeline was also wonderful in welcoming us ahead of time through email communication and was available if anything came up (nothing did). A wonderful host. Highly recommend this property. The view is even better in person:)

Everything good so can recommend. Only not so good things, no windows in bedrooms only doors? Which made it hard to get fresh air while sleeping. No air con and off street parking terrible if you return to unit after 6pm.

This property is fantastic, worth 5 stars and more! The apartment was comfortable, with lovely decor and everything you could possibly need. It was absolutely spotless, everything was super clean and fresh. The view is breathtaking, I could have sat on the balcony for hours! Location is great, feels quiet and relaxing but still in the best part of Mona Vale, right on the sand of the basin beach just a few steps from the beautiful ocean pool. Surf Club, cafes and shops are all close by, most just an easy 5-10 minute walk away. Madeline was such a good host, clear communication, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

This place was simply amazing. Great Location, beautiful styling and just a great atmosphere. We loved staying her for a couple days. The only problem was that we had to leave.. Totally recommend for a getaway and for complete relaxation. Beach just out front and local amenities all convenient. 24 hr view to die for. Sunrise and sunset were special. Madeline, was a delight to deal with. Made our stay so special. Thanks so much!

Seabreeze apartment definitely lived up to the photos, and exceeded our expectations with relaxing ocean sounds extending to all the rooms. The location is superb, right on the beachfront with direct access. Madeline was very professional and friendly in her communication with us, and we found the apartment to be spotlessly clean with high quality furnishings. We appreciated the extras such as lots of staples in the fridge and pantry, and our welcome chocolates. This was a perfect break for us. We hope to return soon and stay for longer!

We stayed at this apartment over the weekend while attending a wedding in Church Point. The location (both on the beach and close to the wedding) made it an ideal destination for us. The advertised photos speak for themselves, but it was the little added extras in the fridge, kitchen cupboard, etc that showed that extra attention to detail that made our stay wonderful. Madeline checked in proactively to make sure we were happy with everything which we absolutely were. We had a few friends come over on the first night and they all said they would consider this location for a future getaway. Highly recommended!! 😊

What a lovely surprise when we opened the front door - yes the photos on the website were gorgeous but one doesn't always expect the reality to match the photos -well it did! An oasis of calm in a hectic family reunion holiday after 3 years absence. Very well equipped and a beautifully decorated apartment. With the stunning beachfront seaview always dominating in all weathers. Have already recommended it to friends there for their friends or families who may visit the area too. Loved everything from the minute we checked in. Beautiful inside, and the view goes without saying! Easy walk to shops and cafes and a park about 100m away for the little ones. Immaculately clean and there is everything you could ever need from toiletries to household staple items. We will definitely return and be recommending to family and friends.
