Por el precio que tiene está bien

El trato del personal, sobre todo, Mery, la persona de Recepción, encantadora. Además, el espacio común de relax era una auténtica maravilla, los martes hacen conciertos. Y, por si fuera poco, está enfrente del mar

Lovely old hotel. Our balcony room overlooking the Mar Menor was exceptional.

Good breakfast but could have been hotter.

I liked everything about it the room was just beautiful old fashioned but so beautiful and the food and the coffees and wine was lovely and the staff so friendly and so helpful x

Belleza y armonía

El edificio y el interior con mucho carácter y el jardín, es un entorno mágico, los desayunos abundantes y muy variados y el horario hasta las 13 horas,a pie de playa y viendo amanecer desde la cama.

Incredible situation and very well run. Food delicious and service excellent.

The staff, the restaurant, the situation, the view, the old fashioned decor!

My husband slipped in the shower, couldn’t get consistent hot water and missed a bedside lamp. Otherwise perfect!

Lovely stay at a delightful Spanish hotel. Very atmospheric. Lovely cool inner courtyard.

Good breakfast. Food delicious. Hotel right on the beach. Charming old Spanish hotel. Was a spa, old marble baths still in situ. The staff was all pleasant & nothing was too much trouble. There was a flamenco show on Sunday night.

Brought smiles to our faces.

Just love the Encarnation. Square in the middle of the hotel is just unique. Position just excellent. Restaurant excellent. Superb and so rustic and authentic.

A lovely weekend .

It was the most charming building in town. We loved that it was older and felt very genuine.

The beds could have been of better quality. We had a ”triple” room and one bed was very hard.

Beautiful antique and historic hotel

Beautiful place and great location. Breakfast was great and the staff were really helpful.

Not a great problem but there are macerators in the ensuites which are quite noisy if your neighbour uses theirs at night.

Fabulous hotel, would highly recommend.....as long as you don't need to park.

No parking, and much as we loved this hotel, cannot stay again as couldn't park, and that is in January!

The location, the ambience, the extremely courteous and friendly staff, the exceptional dining experience and excellent value for money

Great hotel but could be so much better

Amazing location, stunning internal courtyard, lovely restaurant serving excellent food.

Room was in need of considerable updating, insufficient power points, decor very dated. Also breakfast was quite basic and underwhelming.

This beautiful traditional hotel on the seafront is a hidden gem. We have dined here before and it was a joy to return to stay here.

War okay

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich super, auch der Innenhof ist sehr schön.

Das Hotel ist alt, was an sich nicht schlimm ist. Aber es wurde gefühlt Jahre nichts darin gemacht. Unsere Bettdecken hatten Flecken und wir hatten Haare auf dem Bett. Das Zimmer war extrem dunkel und dadurch wenig gemütlich. Die Dusche und der Boden im Bad waren ebenfalls nicht sauber.

Mala gestión de los espacios y personal poco atento

Las vistas

Actualmente no es un balneario y debería de decirse. Del antiguo balneario solo queda la decoración. No hay un dispositivo para que personas con movilidad reducida puedan acceder a las habitaciones, con lo que se nos hizo muy difícil la estancia. La noche que estuvimos se celebró una ceremonia en el patio central y no se nos permitió acceder a la terraza para cenar, tuvimos que dar la vuelta, a pesar de que iba una persona que no podía andar y no se hizo una excepción ni se habilitó un paso que no molestará, todo lo contrario la recepcionista nos trato con desaire y mal educada sin buscar una solución.

Small double bed. Only one chair in the room. Shelving in such a position you knocked into them. No shower gel in dispen

Could not open the window full due to the curtains. The wooden sitters outside could not be let down meaning we had to have the internal shutters closed for privacy

Great Atmosphere and location.

Lovely old building ,great atmosphere, bar and restaurant. Great dinner and breakfast Wonderful sea view from the bedroom.

No air conditioning and a bit shabby in places , but we knew that before. We'd always wanted to stay there as its got great atmosphere.

Location

No air con in room. Over 30 degrees extremely hot. Very small en-suite. Cigarette butt on the floor. We are non smokers. Bed in poor condition. I have photo evidence of both. The hotel receptionist lacked any social skills unfriendly and unhelpful. She gave us our breakfast voucher 2 hours after checking in, and although there were 3 of us, the voucher was only for 2 people. She didn’t hand us any of our documents back but placed them on the counter. No manners at all. Our room was above the outside restaurant and bar. Music was playing until 01:00 in the morning. With that and the heat in the room we were unable to sleep

Exceptional

Location, building itself is a gem, food was amazing, service friendly High ceilings and shade gave a good respite from the sun and heat. I like that it didn't have air conditioning. Nothing worse than a cold room in a warm climate. Am escaping the horrible weather here in Scotland!!

No Air Conditioning!

Old bathes, nice old building and good location just by the sea, but probably the building is a problem

NO Air Conditioner!! We stayed in a room facing south, so it was extremely heated during the day. Super hot during night and we barely slept. Staff don’t speak English at all, but Google helped. Check In took more than 30 minutes, check out was faster. Internet was down, took time to fix it and of a poor speed. We were not able to pay due to that, etc.

Lovely traditional hotel in a great location with all necessary amenities

Traditional Spanish accommodation on the seafront. Beautiful square central courtyard with cascading plants and popular restaurant. Complimentary beach beds and umbrella shade. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and a fridge and bottled water for guests and a very good fan in the room to help on hot days and nights. Lovely staff and good food in the restaurant. The traditional Spanish style dating back to 1900.

A bit noisy of a night time with restaurant just under our room. People stay up late which is fine bit the noise levels rise so we would have to close the shutters. No coffee or small table in our room.
