Fred was helpful and promptly replied to all communication, with the noticeable exception of the arrival day, when he did not answer his phone or come to the apartment and left us waiting for 90 min outside the Village Viva, wondering where we would spend the night, even if we had communicated time of arrival.
After that, he was always quick to reply, flexible and even came to the apartment to help us with the dish washer, that has a problem of stagnating water (even if you do not use it. It happened a couple of times, but Fred has a trick he can explain to drain the water). He was flexible also on the check-out time and left us guidebooks to the island and some consumables. He was also very punctual on check-out.
The apartment is clean, nice and comfortable. We did not use the bedroom (separated from the living area by a closet/bookshelves) as it felt a bit small. The sofa bed is however quite comfortable, easy to open and close and accommodates 2 people.
The kitchen is well equipped and functioning, just be careful to ensure the freezer door closes well. Fridge and freezer are spacious, there is a microwave over/grill that works well (instruction manual is in the cupboard above the cooking stove).
Supermarket is a short drive away, and you will need a car to move from the apartment to most places. The marina is reachable by foot, in about 40 min. There is public parking just outside the residence gate. The pool is a bit old, but clean and usable.
The terrace is quite large, comfortable, a bit old-looking but you can see the sea from one side and there are one small, one larger table and chairs. We used it a lot, as it protects from the rain and sun. We ensured we had mosquito coils to protect us during specific times of day, like in every other place on the islands.
There is a laundry frame on the terrace and a washing machine in the bathroom.
We would stay at this apartment again, if back in Guadeloupe.
