Lovely apartment. Really convenient for the beautiful beach at tankerton
Claire communicated with us easily and the apartment was well equipped and comfortable

Great base for Whitstable and Tankerton - fab walks :-)
Amazing location, really comfortable flat (great bed!) and super-responsive host :-)

Not good value for the money paid
We felt the bathroom and kitchen were very tired. Standard of paintwork overall looked a rush job. Shower head, grouting dirty. Door knobs fell off. I wouldn’t have booked the accommodation if I’d known I was going to receive a list of rules and threats about extra payments. Why not sort out the problem of the dead lock on the inner door?

Short break 2021
It is a very nice flat but needs a bit of investment now.bit annoying to walk up to second floor but that’s unavoidable and we knew that. The parking facility is excellent

We stayed here for three nights.
The apartment is very spacious and airy. The beds were very comfortable and the location is great. The parking space was also very handy, although it was very easy to walk to Whitstable and Tankerton beach is just across the road. One small thing to note is there are a few stairs to get up to the apartment.
Claire was helpful and quick to respond.
We really enjoyed our stay and our first time in Tankerton and Whitstable, hopefully we will be back soon!

We had a lovely time here for a long weekend. Everything we needed plus great location.

First short break since Covid
The property was very clean and comfortable, lovely surprise with the bottle of wine too. Only 2 of us so we spent quite a bit of time walking around but it was nice to come home to. We were lucky with the weather. Thanks.

Spacious comfortable well equipped flat in very convenient position
The flat was just as described on the web site. Spotless condition with lots of nice welcoming touches by the owner. It's spacious and very well equipped. High street location is convenient for food shops and some takeaways. It's close to the beach a 15 minute walk to Whitstable. Ideal location for us as we like doing walks rather than just sitting on the beach. Owner was very friendly and helpful weather fantastic. We had a great time.

The Marguerita is perfectly located close to the beach and local shops and just a 15 minute stroll along the waterfront to Whitstable. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable week away. Comms with owner was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Lovely, clean flat close to shops & right by the beach!
Right on the high street of Tankerton, the 2 bed flat sits above a shop. One of the cleanest guest houses we have ever stayed in, the flat offers tons of room, great wireless, and a big kitchen. Both beds are super comfy (as opposed to the dire springs of a hotel bed) and one offers a lovely view of the bay.
Along the street is a bakery, pub, and one of the best kebab shops we've ever visited. A couple of blocks away is Tankerton shores and just up the road is the charming village of Whitstable.
It was a relaxing, homey place to stay for the 10 days we booked and we would definitely visit again.

Convenient apartment near the beach
Claire made us feel very welcome and our boys particularly enjoyed the little chocolates she left in the welcome basket :)
The apartment is well-kept, warm and tidy and conveniently located near local shops and cafes. The shingle beach is a few minutes walk away with a wide promenade for kids to scoot/ride along. It takes 10-20 mins to walk to Whitstable with its fishmarket, other market stalls (made from shipping containers!) and pubs/cafes etc.
Recommended.

Margarita Review.
The property is very nicely laid out and very clean. Towels were set out and an instruction/guide book were provided. The beds, pillows and couches were very comfortable.
Our days there were hot but with the windows opened the flat cooled off nicely.
The flat is well located in Whitstable. There are restaurants, a bakery, pub, grocery store and beach are very close.
We had a rental car and parking was quite easy out front of the flat.
The communication from Claire was very good and she gave a very good description of where to eat, sites to see and options of tourist sites to see.
I would highly recommend the property, Whitstable and renting from Claire.

Lovely Apartment in a great location
We had a fab time staying here! Claire the owner was superb in resolving issues for me after a mistake I'd made in our initial booking and she made sure everything was perfect for us on our arrival. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean and modern and in a great location to Tankerton beaches and a short walk into Whitstable. We will almost certainly be coming back to stay again. Thank you!

Great location and property
Spacious apartment, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and sofas (which is not always a given!). Thick fluffy towels and great to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Lots of lovely little, thoughtful touches, books, board games and toys in the apartment.
Claire greeted us on arrival to ensure everything was ok too.
The location is fabulous, 2 minutes walk to the beach and so many lovely restuants in Tankerton and nearby. The Tankerton Arms was great for a local tipple, as was the Italian, Mucini. We had the best tapas in Whitstable too at Harbour Street Tapas. We walked to Whitstable along the seafront, so clean and peaceful!
All in all a great spot and great accommodation.

Well-equipped and spacious apartment a few minutes
Well-equipped and spacious apartment a few minutes’ walk from the sea. Good accommodation ideally suited for exploring the Kent countryside and coast. Apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Excellent day out in Canterbury and Whitstable is just a 10-minute walk away.

Practically Perfect!
Marguerita is an excellent base for us to visit our Kent family. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable the flat is well equipped (I managed to put on a 3 course meal for 5!)
Claire was very efficient at sorting out a problem with the Wi-Fi and very flexible when we had to change dates at the last moment due to #Beastfromtheeast.
We visit the area a couple of times a year and this is now our go to accomodation

Lovely property in great location for Whitstable and surrounding area.
Property was as described and was also nice and warm as we were there during December. Will definitely be coming again!
Claire was very helpful with great local knowledge...

Perfect holiday home
The apartment ist spacious, very nicely decorated and has lovely views. The owner Claire is very friendly and helpful; we recommend this property to anyone who visits Kent as a perfect home base. Tankerton offers all necessary shops and amenities within walking distance from the property plus a good deal more places for fun!

Relaxing location for a stay by the sea
Making the booking with Claire was easy and she was there to meet us on arrival. A convenient location on a little strip up the hill behind the sea. Good for us as we could easily walk from Whitstable station and didn't need a car. It was handy to have a bakers, good fish & chip shop and Tescos nearby and a range of takeaways and cafes if you don't feel like cooking. The flat is spacious and comfortable and has a nice garden. It's a bit of a pain to go up and down the stairs with plates etc to eat in the garden (as we did) but it's nice being up high and having sea views. Our son enjoyed the toys in the flat. We liked Tankerton-a lot more charming than Whitsatble. Next time I'll being our park run bar codes as we didn't know there was a run from our bit of the beach. Would be happy to have a Nespresso machine as local cafes don't open that early. Great place for a long weekend. Would be happy to go back.

Cosy & in a great location
We just spent a weekend in Whitstable and really enjoyed our stay at Marguerita. It's in Tankerton, which is approx 10 min walk into town, which you can do along the beach or the Marine Drive just around the corner. There's plenty of amenities in Tankerton to keep you going like Tesco express, a bakery & a nice wine shop. We had a great meal at Jo Jo's nearby with friends - they do tapas/sharing plates. The flat is bright and clean - we cooked a meal one night and we had everything we needed. Claire was helpful & friendly - she met us at the flat to let us in and gave us all of the necessary local advice. We were 5 - 3 adults, 2 kids and there was plenty of space. I can see that we might drop by again in the future (maybe leave the kids behind though) ;)

Lovely Stay in Whitstable
Myself and my partner recently relocated down to Kent and were in need of a home for two months until we were able to move into our house. The apartment was perfect, location wise for us both but also the amenities in the local area and in the flat (we didnt need to worry about kitchen stuff etc)
We rang Claire (the owner) to request to book and she was lovely, really welcoming and was so flexible with us with the time we needed the flat which was a huge weight off our shoulders at a stressful time. The accommodation has a great location, right by the sea, plenty of places to park, clean, really spacious, huge bedrooms and living room and lovely for a long stay or even a weekend away. Would definitely recommend!!

We recommend the apartment (4 weeks stay)
We had a very nice month in Whitstable. The flat has everything we need and the kitchen is very well equipped. The weather was very good for English conditions so we could use the garden frequently for sunbathing and barbecues. The apartment is large bright and cosy. In the four weeks we had two times a friendly couples to visit. The location is great, shopping and beach around the corner and Whitstable town on foot 10 minutes. But Canterbury by bike or London by train everything was great, what more could you want? The advice and assistance of Claire were great, thanks a lot.

Great Apartment
We had a lovely weekend staying in this great apartment. The apartment is nicely furnished with great views of the sea from the kitchen and one bedroom. Unfortunately it was not nice enough to use the garden, but what a great bonus to have. There are a few restaurants and take away's in Tankerton plus a couple of supermarkets and shops. Our son loved the toy shop. It is only about 20 minutes walk into Whitstable with lots more restaurants and shops to look around.Claire and her husband were really nice and very helpful. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
