Relax and enjoy the charms of downtown Mystic. Located on the historic property of Captain William Morgan, an 18th century sea captain, this private Carriage House is situated just a 1/4 block from downtown.. in the heart of Mystic, but also peaceful & secluded. A very 'Norman Rockwell-like' setting!
There are two suites for rent. These are side by side but not connected. Both back up to the private terrace behind with beautiful gardens. The larger suite sleeps three with a king bed and smaller full size futon. The smaller with a king bed sleeps two.

We had a great 2 night stay before dropping our daughter off for her first year of college. The suite was well appointed and close to shops and dinning. Host was wonderful.

This property is adorable and so close to the downtown area of Mystic! We loved how the cottage was decorated and truly enjoyed our visit. We had everything we needed for long weekend stay. Check in and check out process was super easy and we loved that our sweet dog Frankie was welcome. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

The Carriage House at 26 Pearl is a charming “home away from home!” Located in the heart of downtown Mystic, steps away from local shops and eateries. Parking on site is ideal since street parking is difficult at times on Main Street and surrounding side streets. The space was clean, comfortable, and provided cozy vibes, both inside the unit and outdoors on the private patio in the English garden. The host, Sue, was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. Herman, the resident Golden, was a cheerful assistant “checking in” with us most days! He was very calm when around our small Italian Greyhound in the yard. Would book again at the property if ever in the Mystic area in the future.

Our weekend stay here was very pleasant. Accommodations were great and couldn't beat the location. Easy walk to Main St and otherwise quiet where we were. Thankful for the off street parking spot because otherwise parking would have been a challenge at times.

Beautiful cottage duplex on lovely grounds, with Herman the Golden Retriever as an added bonus! Susan takes great care in providing everything her guests might need for a wonderful stay, a quiet little paradise yet so close to town.

Susan was exceptional in her hospitality. We enjoyed Herman's presence and his welcome as well as Susan's acceptance of my small senior doxie dog in the cottages. The courtyard adds to the ambiance of a small getaway and was perfect to relax after touring the town. We're grateful for the visit and time Susan took with us!

Always have a wonderful experience staying at any one of Susan’s properties! We’ve been coming to Mystic for over 19 years and we call Mystic our happy place and our home away from home. Susan does a great job making us feel welcome and taking care of all of our needs. Her homes are always clean and well stocked. It’s been a pleasure getting to know her over the years. I’m hoping to visit again soon!! 💕

We loved it here, literally park your car and you don’t have to worry about driving whatsoever access to everything. The house is fantastic. The property is gorgeous I can’t say enough about it. Why would you ever stay at a hotel? The host was awesome!

Adorable! Incredibly convenient location; a couple of minutes from downtown yet felt private enough as well! You can tell much thought was put into the place. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore Mystic to stay here!

We absolutely love this beautiful cottage. The colors and decor are lovely. Susan decorated so beachy and eclectic. Great location. I highly recommend either cottage. Best part is its pet friendly with a cute courtyard in the back.

This was the perfect location for my week long getaway to relax and see old friends. Onsite parking was wonderful and made it easy to come and go without stressing about parking..though most times we just walked since we were quite literally in the heart of downtown Mystic. Perfect! Being so close to the main st it was surprisingly very quiet at night, even with it being the week of July 4th. Ambassador Herman was one of the highlights of my mornings and evenings as he greeted me each time by running thru the bushes with his tail wagging...and I have to admit, I miss the little (big) fella. If there is anything that I would say could use some improvement is the cleaning (dusting) as there were quite a few cobwebs (and spiders to go along with them). I will definitely be coming back to this quaint and cozy little rental.

The carrage house was clean and smelled great. Its decorated so cutely! I want to live there when I retire! The size is perfect for two people. The location is close to all the fun shops and restaurants in the center of town. Yet it's far enough away to be quiet with a locals neighborhood feel. Sue was the perfect host and allowed our pup to play with hers till they were both ready for bed. Everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay was provided. Thank you Sue!

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway and this little cottage was just the ticket. We found it to be beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable as was the seating. We especially loved the peace, privacy and quiet while being within walking distance of Main St. We would definitely book again!

Great location and lovely cozy cottage! We were pleasantly surprised to find the toaster oven and kettle! Such a cute little place. We went in winter so didn’t use the patio but the neighborhood was darling and so convenient. Sue was very responsive throughout.

To be fair, both my husband and i were ill when arrived. We went anyway thinking what a perfect peaceful place to relax and unwind. Wrong! The night we arrived there was construction happening, banging and hammering etc. In the unit next door, attached by wall until after 10:00 pm. When we got up the next morning we had the opportunity to look around. There were cobwebs around the floor and feet of every piece of furniture and the window at the top of the wall had so many cobwebs you couldn't see out of it. There is no view whatsoever just a small patio outside the backdoor. It is however within walking distance to downtown. Oh well, lesson learned.

Enjoyed our visit and the chance to relax with family in a welcoming setting. Rooms were tastefully appointed and host was extremely attentive and so kind. Evenings and morning gatherings in the backyard surrounded by a beautiful garden made the experience so much fun. Herman, their puppy, was there to make the time an extra treat.

We really enjoyed the peaceful experience. The cottage was quaint and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our visit. It’s very close to town. The short walk is through a lovely neighborhood with lots of historic beautiful homes. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely go back again.

Perfect location to historic downtown mystic! Close to so many restaurants! With kids we preferred to stay in and eat takeout and the outside setting made it relaxing and safe with all gates always being closed! The futon may not fit a family of 4 with our kids being any older…but possibly bringing an air mattress next time would solve this issue if it’s allowed….the owner had everything covered in little details…it was a home away from home for sure

Beautiful! Pet friendly and owner lives next door. This charming room is full of decorative surprises and it’s only one block from the seaport with many restaurants and shops. This is important because parking is very limited.

Very quaint property on a side street just off town. Easy walk to all downtown areas in Mystic. We were with another couple and rented both units in the carriage house. The patio behind the unit was great. We enjoyed the sunshine and friendly visits from the owners new puppy. Each unit in carriage house is rented separately. The bed was very comfortable and it was a bit cool so we enjoyed the gas fireplace. There is a gas grill at the main house and a small fire pit type grill at the carriage house. There’s a coffee maker and filters, small fridge and a hot plate if needed. There’s so many great restaurants in Mystic though. Our favorite is The Oyster Club. S & P Oysters is great as well. We had brunch at Shipwrights Daughter. We very much enjoyed speaking with Sue, the owner who lives in a property behind the carriage house. We hope to return again one day.

We loved our stay in this beautiful carriage house in Mystic. The location was perfect--you could walk to everything--and the place was absolutely lovely. In addition to the already charming decor of the room it was also decorated for Christmas, which made our holiday stay that much more celebratory. The bed was extremely comfortable and the large bathtub was a special treat. Everything was very clean and well kept and the host was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

We booked the larger suite for a quick Thanksgiving getaway. Sue thought of everything, from the beautiful decor to the thoughtful amenities, all just steps from downtown. On top of which she allowed us to bring our fur babies so the whole family could come. I have to say our stay was perfect. Thank you Sue!

The carriage house is in a great location and you can walk everywhere. The space was filled with way too much clutter, we had to move things just to find a space to put our own stuff. The description says "charming" - but it's not. It was not clean, when the sun shined in you could see dust everywhere. The smoke detector was removed with just wires hanging out. Parking was easy and it was quiet enough.

Couldn’t ask for a better place for our Mystic weekend. Cottage was breathtakingly beautiful, clean and quaint. A short walk to town. Absolutely loved it!
