We were a group of 10 adults that wanted to stay together for our trip and this place had lots of bedrooms and the added bonus of en-suite bathrooms with showers. Could have used more info about using the appliances correctly (not familiar with the brands) and didn’t want to bother owner every minute. No checkout instructions.

We recently stayed at a wonderful house in Malahide, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the stunning Malahide Castle, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful grounds and history without any hassle.
The house itself was absolutely fantastic! The kitchen was extremely large and beautifully decorated, providing ample space for our family of 10 to gather, cook, and enjoy meals together. Each room in the house was spacious and well-furnished, ensuring that everyone had plenty of space and comfort.

Great house comfortably fit our group of 11. Loved hanging out there after dinner in any of several sitting rooms. Kitchen was great but we didn’t use it for much other than breakfast. Terry was very helpful and quick to respond to questions.he even Helped make a dinner Reservation highly recommend

The house was massive and gave us plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the game room and movie room. We could not figure out how to turn on the TV’s though to watch TV. The house was basically clean but could use a deep cleaning. The bedding and towels were very basic. The description said good for families but many collectibles around. The area was great and easy access to the airport on our travel day. With some basic upgrades it would be an awesome place to stay.

Terry is an outstanding host . The house is far more impressive than we anticipated. The location and house were perfect for our family of 9 (including 4 grandchildren). Terry is also well connected in the area and reserved a special table for 9 at a great restaurant (Aqua). We had a corner round table with a great view. We would highly recommend this for a family or a group of golfers. It’s special.

Overall the house was great for our family group. Very spacious, nice neighborhood, and in particular we loved the little village and downtown area in Malahide for dining and pubs. The kitchen was lacking in usability for cooking in.

It was a wonderful spot for our family vacation. Terry went above and beyond as a host! He welcomed us and helped us plan our stay. He made dinner reservations for us and gave us great recommendations for activities. He left us a beautiful basket of food and he made us feel right at home!

We have been on many family vacations with VRBO. we are a group of 10 and this house was nothing short of perfection! Terry met us and walked us through the house. Everyone in our group loved loved loved this property. The location was great. 10 minute walk to the bus stop for #’s 42&43 straight to Dublin. 15 minutes to the Dublin Airport. 15 minutes to the beautiful seaside village of Malahide. Simply great value

Excellent property exactly as portrayed in listing and in a beautiful setting. We were initially confused by the address until the Development and Eircode were added and some of my guests got lost , but Google maps came to the rescue.

The house is exactly as described. Ideally located 20 minutes from the airport and in the beautiful setting of Malahide. We stayed here with 6 friends for a golfing break. Thanks to our host for his help and advice in finding and booking excellent restaurants and bars with live music. I highly recommend this address. André

What a great property to use for the Dublin Marathon!
Terry was able to accommodate all our needs as well as supplying us with dinner recommendations in Malahide.
Great kitchen meant we could cook for all, entertain and prep for the race day, then come back cook again and celebrate success.

House is a short ride from Dublin airport (great for those of us travelling to/from Ireland) and just on the outskirts of Malahide village center. Easy access to Dublin city center via bus or train. Beautiful accommodations, highly recommended!

There was twelve of us and we all stayed in the same house without being crowded. There were 6 rooms, each has an ensuite which was convenient however the shower pressure was not great and the water ran all through the ensuite which not good leaving water by the sink and toilet wet. It could be an accident waiting to happen. There was some mould in the shower area. The kitchen area had a huge table and quite well equipped. Terry left a basket of treats and fruits which was very thoughtful. Backyard was nice, however the warped table could be removed and the wooded chairs could be refinished, The location was nice - about a 45 minute walk into town, which was my exercise for the day. Terry was helpful when Hurricane Betty came through the area.

We as a family rent a large home every year somewhere different. We require at least 5 bedrooms. This home had everything we needed. Large spaces and a fully equipped kitchen. we only had breakfast there but there was everything needed to prepare a meal. Weather was good enough we could use outside for family games- plenty of space. Terry got us a reservation at a local eatery-The Greenery and it was excellent. Staff were amazing a good was stellar.

We stayed for 13 days. Some family came later & had to leave earlier but all enjoyed to beautiful home with a total of 10 of us. Everything was close by and so getting food was no problem at all. We even barbecued outdoors on the barbecue.
The town of Malahide is so close that we went to town many times. Rooms were decorated beautifully and on the 3rd floor we all had a great time playing ping pong and table tennis. This house will spoil you and like my 6 yr old grand daughter said, "I didn't know we were staying in a castle!"

Terry was fabulous in every way. The home is stunningly beautiful and met the needs of our 12 person group perfectly. Malahide is also a welcome respite from a busy Dublin day. We hired the house for a family reunion and it slept 10 perfectly all with our own ensuites. The reception rooms were huge and nicely decorated. The garden had lots of seating with outdoor sofas. Its a fabulous house - would definitely recommend especially if you are a group of friends or family looking for a large property to accommodate you all in family home rather than a hotel

Properly fabulous. Location superb. Terry the host was brilliant. 12 stayed in the property- more than enough space. 2 friends stayed in a hotel in Dublin. Terry managed to get a booking in a fabulous restaurant in Malahide for 14 people at 8pm on a Saturday night on a gig weekend for Springsteen in Dublin. Fantastic.

The property is luxurious and spacious. We had a large group and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed playing charades in the game room. The musical ones in the group enjoyed the playing the beautiful piano. We had a lovely barbeque in the spacious garden. You do not need to rent a car here if you intend to visit Dublin. Buses will take you to Dublin and the small exquisite town of Malahide. Terry is 'the host with the most'. He actually gave us a ride to Malahide the first night we arrived and he left a welcome basket of assorted goodies which were well received by our group ! Thank you Terry. We hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Comfort, style and luxury, the property is well appointed and charming in close proximity to shopping, and restaurants near by quaint and charming seaside Malahide Village. Shops and restaurants were perfect and close daily attraction whilst Dublin was an easy drive half hour drive.
Our host Terry was kind, knowledgeable and and very helpful for we, first time visitors to the stunningly beautiful Emerald Isle. Max our chef who was facilitated by Terry was fab!
Our only regret was having to leave.

Fantastic home
He enjoyed this huge house and all of it’s bedrooms and bathrooms. Ages from 3-86 and everyone felt comfortable. Very convenient location. We loved all the sitting rooms and rose garden too. Really wish some of the features were fixed (theatre screen and pool table) as that was a big draw for our teenagers.

This house was absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful stay at Terry’s home and it exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for our group of 12 and the home was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We spent a good amount of our time in the lovely outdoor spaces. Terry was a wonderful host and gave us lots of great suggestions for what to do in Malahide. Travel to Dublin was easy enough with a bus stop at the top of the street. It was a bit difficult to get cabs and Ubers on the weekday mornings, but easy enough on the weekend days. Our stay at this gorgeous home was the icing on the cake for our trip of a lifetime to the amazing Emerald Isle!

The host Terry was incredibly kind and even provided us with snacks, fruits, and several groceries for the house upon arrival. He met us there to assist in check in and gave us a tour around. The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and quiet. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom and shower attached, which is nice when staying with a group. Lots of room in the house for activities or lounging. The house is a short 15-20 minute taxi to Dublin airport, 5-10 min taxi to the town center. Overall great stay 10 out of 10!

Beautiful experience
We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home. So much room to spread out. Having an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom was a plus. We would have loved to use outside area but it was not clean. Malahide is a lovely town. The quick bus ride to Dublin was perfect. Terry is a fabulous host. He was helpful and accommodating. We would definitely return to this VRBO!

Absolutely First Class
We had the most excellent experience at Terry's Malahide mansion : the house far exceeded expectation. A really great location to explore Dublin when we wished to - but more than enough pubs and restaurants in Malahide itself to keep us happy. We used the house as a base for Punchestown races - which also worked very well. Terry himself couldn't have been more helpful - an attitude reflected throughout the whole town. We very much hope to return one day!!

Excellent time in Malahide
We spent Christmas at Terry's home in Malahide and had an excellent time. Terry was extremely helpful and responsive and his home was AMAZING! We were 10 adults and the house had great spaces for everyone. He had it decorated for Christmas so we really got in the holiday mood. In our experiences, not all places are decorated for the holiday so this made Terry's place extra special. We rented a car however, the house was easily accessible by local bus routes and we were took the DART in to Dublin - it was very easy. We spent time in Malahide and Terry gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants. We would absolutely stay at Terry's home again - it was very special!

Fabulous Thanksgiving getaway
Our party of 8 adults had a great time at this spacious home in Dublin suburbs. We were close enough to enjoy several days in Dublin - and a day trip to Belfast - but we spent plenty of time in the charming village of Malahide - great local restaurants and a wonderful medieval castle.
