The general ambience, the staff, the peace & quiet. The closeness of the seafront and the wonderful promenade.
9.0 / 10.0
The hotel was located in a quiet area on the beach path, making it a very restful stay. Our non-smoking room had no hint of smoke. The fitness facilities were good, and the swimming pool large for a business hotel. The executive club Happy Hour surpassed our expectations with a mini buffet and cocktail bar. The service was excellent and we felt very welcome. The executive club staff were especially friendly and at breakfast Ms Dong Hongmei went the extra mile to care for us.
The breakfast was a good spread with nice variety, but no cheese. Sometimes items were not replenished, some hot breakfast items were a bit cold and the coffee machine had some issues. When we asked, then staff were always quick to help.

Friendly and helpful personal. Sea view. Close to beach. Nice bbq and life music. Nice breakfast with western food as well.
The address does not fit exactly when I try to use maps me or baidu for navigation. Need to be adjusted.

Everything was pretty good during my stay. The room is big and comfortable as well as quiet; super cool to have a balcony. My room was with the city view, and I'm sure with the sea view it'll make mornings even more pleasant. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices, not very varied from day to day but not really a problem. Western and Asian dishes are served, and they are all delicious. Staff is very friendly and answer all the questions you have. Access to the sea is very convenient. And it is really nice to walk along the promenade. The location is good, too. There's a huge shopping mall just in about twenty minutes walk from the hotel and some small shops and restaurants as well.
I have only one small question to rommade service as bathroom stuff such as shampoo, shower gel weren't changed as well as coffee sticks weren't added. Not a big deal but left some unpleasant feeling. Also I couldn't use the iron. It was cold even after a few minutes of being turned on.

Restaurant organization unclear. Main restaurant during lunch time was a windowless corner; the place with windows served a reduced lunch menu only, but cleaning staff created a solid train station hall atmosphere with a lot of noise and yells. Breakfast place too small especially when the hotel is full. Same for the executive lounge. Here, even food supply was an issue. I cannot understand why the food / beverage manager cannot add more space in peak hours using adjoining function rooms. And, executive lounge access should be managed by selling less rooms with access or add capacity. Food quality otherwise good.

This was the best hotel experience we've had since we came to China. Staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. The rooms were in an immaculate condition and bedding, towels were replace upon requests.
Please be more strict with your hotel rooms when it comes to "no smoking" This is really bad for non smokers especially when you have kids. This has detrimental affects on the health of those staying next to you. The hotel provides designated areas which should be utilised for smoking users.
