THE VIEW offers a once-in-a-lifetime vacation on Folly Beach that includes luxurious, high-end interiors and unbelievable ocean views. This 4 BEDROOM/4.5 BATH luxury beachfront condo is PET-FRIENDLY and comfortably SLEEPS 8 GUESTS. Designed with family & friends in mind, THE VIEW includes four fully private bedroom suites each with an ensuite bathroom. This 4-story home has direct beach access from a short boardwalk across the dunes, plus a rooftop deck for truly spectacular panoramic views. Professionally decorated and furnished with comfort in mind, THE VIEW has a well-appointed gourmet kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, a Wolf gas range and Subzero refrigerator. The open living room has abundant seating for everyone, a gas fireplace for cozy nights filled with conversation and boardgames, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors for endless beach views plus a flatscreen TV with cable and wireless internet. Additionally you'll find a a separate dining room that seats 8. You can enjoy your morning coffee on one of the THREE BALCONIES then grab your beach chairs and mosey out to find your spot in the sand.
The 2nd floor MASTER BEDROOM offers breathtaking ocean views, has a KING bed and a luxurious spa-like bath. On this floor you will find an additional guest room with QUEEN BED and private en-suite bath, plus laundry foom with full-sized Washer/Dryer. On the 3rd floor you will find two additional bedroom suites each with KING BED and KING BED and each includes private ensuite bathroom and access to a private balcony. The intimate courtyard tucked between third floor private suites, is a tranquil place for morning coffee and provides spiral stair access to the rooftop deck, and the 360 degree rooftop views that remind you just why this sleepy beachside town is affectionately called “The Edge of America.” Ample parking is provided including the 3-car garage and one, additional parking space. At THE VIEW you're also just STEPS to Center Street where you'll find all of Folly Beach activity, from shops to restaurants and bars.

Access
Each of our luxury vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests' stay will be provided by your Concierge on the date of your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, your concierge will be ready and waiting to assist you by phone. In addition, for properties with gate or garage access, you will be given this access code on the day of your arrival as well.
Interaction
Upon arrival, after the established 4PM check-in time, you may enter and exit the rental at your leisure with these codes. Additionally, requests can be made for your Concierge to meet you at the property upon check-in. We are here to make the check-in process a seamless one!

At the time of booking, we require a payment of 50% of your total rental amount. The remainder of your balance will be due 30 days prior to your check in date and will be automatically charged to the card we have on file. If you are booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, the full payment is due at the time of booking.
Folly Beach has a noise ordinance starting at 10PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Noise complaints can result in fines.

We have reached out to the property managers, before rating the property. They have addressed the issues. And offered a discount on a future stay.
1. The elevator is NOT for guest use. We did receive a waiver for it- which we submitted, but they did not receive it. In any event we were told upon arrival that it was broken/ not for client use/ we had to pay to use it- all in the span of 24 hours. Be prepared for LOTS of stairs. This was confusing, and disappointing.
2. There are zero additional blankets in the house. We waited almost 2 hours for a response about where to find them, were told they would be delivered the next morning, and then the next morning when I went to track them down, I was told we had to PAY for them. All this to say, we went out and bought extra blankets for the beds. Something this simple was an easy fix that they should have handled better. There should have never been 3-4 conversations about a basic fix.
3. There were multiple sightings of a rodent- in and out of our garage, and the next door renters- who were managed by the same company. Management has said they are addressing this immediately.
4. The chairs in living room were covered with dog hair- and pretty gross- we were credited 10% of the cleaning fee to compensate for this.
Overall, nice sheets/ beds/ towels and well stocked kitchen with nice appliances. But for the price & the marketing, we expected much better overall.

Elevator did not work and the property was sold as having an elevator. I was willing to pay extra. It was very inconvenient. We are 73 years old and found the 4 flights of stairs very difficult. I feel inaccurate listing. Should get compensation for miss representation.

We couldn’t check in until 5 because the inspector was late. When we were able to get in, the house was filthy. Called management immediately and they sent someone out the next day. It was still not cleaned after that. The floors leave your feet and socks black. So much debris and sand layered on them. Other areas including furniture had layers upon layers of dust and fur. Bird poop was on many of the exterior balconies and had not been cleaned off windows. The furniture was disgusting. Food was left crusted in counters and stainless steel filthy. They did deliver a new sectional but had problems getting it in the unit which cut into our dinner plans. The garage door opener was broken which was also replaced. On the third day an inspector appeared at our door to change out the furnace filters. People constantly in and out. I feel that with a proper deep cleaning , this would be a great place as the location is excellent. Also beware of building next door as it is condemned and being rehabbed. With some TLC this place would be great! No pride in ownership. Management was responsive however, it needs to be cleaned and better organized.

Everything was easy and convenient to rent. Only hiccup was, beach chairs & umbrellas were not there that the Concierge Reserved. Dont recommend this service. Lifeguard service on beach is same service and less expensive. Otherwise The View is Beautifully decorated and like brand new!

Living room rug and furniture need a deep clean to remove visible stains or just replace all together. A little disappointed that we stayed for 5 nights and ran out of kitchen garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper and when we requested more we were told that we would have to buy our own. Paying over 1k a night and not having normal amenities??

Came in town for C of C graduation, happened to be mother's day weekend too, so Folly Beach was crowded. This condo is located smack in the middle of Folly. The beach out front is very crowded not only because the week we chose to come but there is the chair/umbrella rental right in front. Depending on what you are looking for, rental chairs right out front and walking distance to everything downtown Folly this is a good location. It was too crowded for my liking, but might meet someone else's needs. This is a nice condo and offered up to 4 parking spots, which was needed since we had local family and friends popping in for a visit, but we did find random people parking in our spot because of how crowded this location is. Furnishings and quality of condo is very nice but very used; it could use a deep clean ( all rugs, upholstery, baseboards etc.) and some touch-up of paint etc. Because it is nice, you can overlook the wear and tear but it does need a little tlc. Unfortunately, the building next door is condemned and that takes away from the setting as well. Visitors use this area to cut through, there were birds, animals, and trash all around it. And an alarm kept going off in the unoccupied building; for the sake of the surrounding buildings it needs to be torn down. I gave this condo only 3 stars because of needing of a deep clean, the crowded location and the abandoned building next door. BUT someone else might be able to overlook the need for a little tlc and the building next door and love the central location, so for them it could be a 4 star. I never needed to communicate with the management other than the check-in/out process and it was simple enough and they seemed to be attentive, but I really can't speak too much on that subject. The weather was great and it is an easy drive to downtown. If this condo was located on either end of Folly, which would be much less crowded, I would stay there again because it was nice, but the crowded beach, and very public location was too much for me.

The property is beautiful, and the location is great! Within walking distance to shops restaurants and bars. The views from each room are so beautiful. I celebrated my 30th here with some couple friends and there was enough space for us to gather and not feel on top of one another. My only take back is that the property could have been a bit cleaner. The balconies were not that clean. Could have used a good sweep, even found an old bandage on the main balcony. The floors inside the house looked clean, but we had to use shoes in the house because our feet were dirty from walking barefoot. And the showers could use a little extra TLC. The master shower floor was still a bit dirty. My friends and I loved the property, location, and promptness/friendliness of the management team. They were extremely helpful. We can definitely see ourselves coming back. Maybe they just need to hire a new cleaning team.

We stayed here with family and friends and had a fantastic week! The property is just as advertised.
The kitchen is well-stocked, even with starter supplies like olive oil. The high-end appliances were a great feature.
The bedrooms were all very comfortable. Only two of the four face the ocean, but that worked out fine for us. The beds are memory foam and super comfortable. We all slept better than we do at home!
The location is excellent. You can walk to Bert's (grocery store and deli) and all the local shops and restaurants. The beach is just steps away - no long boardwalks like many places further down the beach.
The stairs are A LOT. So if you're not used to that, go ahead and pay the extra $100 for elevator use.
Everything was very clean. I did clean all the high-touch areas when we first got there, just in case. The banisters were still quite dirty, but that was really it. Overall the place was very well cleaned.
The only drawback I would say is the construction on the pier. You're literally two doors down so there is a lot of heavy equipment noise and diesel fumes. We're somewhat local so we knew this going in. But if I had flown across country to vacation there and no one told me there would be heavy equipment noise at 8 a.m., I'd probably be a little annoyed. There were times we had to close windows and doors to keep out the fumes.
Overall, our stay was fantastic and we're already looking at booking for two weeks next year.

This place provided ample space for our family who came from all parts of the country. The main floor was the place to hang out and visit, eat together, play games, etc. while the large bedrooms and patio above provided private and quiet space. And of course there's the beach right at your footsteps. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking.

We really enjoyed our stay but we ran into several issues at this property. The door handle at the top level of the property was broken so we couldn't keep the door closed properly which then caused the AC Unit to freeze up. This required two different maintenance calls. Around our third day into the stay the shower unit in one of the upstairs bathrooms completely came out of the wall which required guests to share bathrooms. The bath could not be fixed during our stay. This was yet another maintenance call. This unit is also right next door to a building that should probably be condemned. The next door building is rented/possibly owned by a fraternity so our first two early morning sunrises consisted of sitting on a balcony right next door to college kids still partying (morning 1) and passed out drunk (morning 2). Finally, the property manager verbally committed to a $300 refund due to the issues we experienced, however 3 weeks after our stay we received an email stating that there would be no refund. The property manager also tried to accuse us of leaving multiple doors open which caused the AC unit to freeze up - not the case. Despite these issues, the bedrooms, living area and kitchen were very nice. This unit is also conveniently located to markets, restaurants, etc. We walked everywhere - it was great!!

This property combined comfort and luxury with perfect proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants. For families and vacationers that want to enjoy a beach vacation with a convenient beachfront location, have room to spread out in the condo, and be able to walk to dinner every night (once here a car is unnecessary the remainder of the stay), this property is THE place to stay.

Condo: Room for at least three cars in the garage to stay out of the sun. They had some water toys for the kids to use at the beach, beach chairs, towels, and drying racks! Very helpful. The place even has an elevator to all the floors. The kitchen is well equipped with upscale appliances (rangetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig machine, etc.), plenty of counter space, plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking utensils, pots and pans. The kitchen opens to the living room area, with two sofas and many chairs, plenty of seating, with a plasma TV over the fireplace. TVs in all rooms, wifi throughout the condo. The oceanfront balcony is a great spot to watch the sunrise. The dining room on the main floor would easily seat 8. There are two bedrooms on second floor, with balconies, and each with en suite bathrooms. The master bathroom (oceanfront) is huge, nice dual head shower, bathtub. Comfortable beds. Good air conditioning kept the condo cool and comfortable even on hot days. Laundry room on 2nd floor very helpful. 3rd floor has a door that opens to an outdoor courtyard of sorts, then separate doors to each of two bedrooms with en suite baths. 4th level up spiral staircase is a bit of a rooftop patio for a good view of the beach and the island. Favorite parts of the condo were the main floor and master bathroom.
Beach: Right next to the pier, plenty of room for our spot on the beach each day, went straight out from the condo, could not be easier.
Surroundings: There are at least a dozen restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the condo, and yet the condo was surprisingly quiet. Folly Crab Shack had good seafood, Rita's was solid, best for its ambiance and service. Tokyo crepes is steps from the condo and a must try. Taco Boy was very good. If you have a car, consider Bowen's Island seafood restaurant. Consider a drive into Charleston for a night or two, with fantastic restaurants like Hominy grill, Husk, Fig, The Ordinary, Edmund's Oast, and be sure to finish dinner with Jeni's ice cream.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this awesome property, and can't wait to get back.
We first stumbled upon it for a stay cation back in november for just my husband and myself, then loved it so much we asked for our family vacation to be there this summer with my family.
All of the bedrooms are really nice is size with ensuite bathrooms, and the view and location is unparalleled. You are in walking distance from EVERYTHING, and you can't beat your private walkway to the beach.
The house is stocked with beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, event towels!
I travel for a living and being on the road a lot can make you very picky about places and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this property.
Even more important, the property manager and concierge are amazing, helping you feel right at home and incredibly helpful.
We can't wait to get back there this winter.

This is the second time I've rented this condo. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mary with her beautiful smile, giving us all the information we needed about the condo and offering us any assistance we might need during our stay. The condo couldn't be more comfortable. The garage accommodates three cars. The elevator takes you to all three floors, which is such a blessing unloading everything. The kitchen and family room are perfect. The windows are tinted so the strong sun doesn't force you to close drapes and take away from the beautiful view. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are very large and supplied with soft and very large towels. There were even beach towels on racks in the garage waiting for us. This condo is in the perfect location. You are with in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. My family (including my four legged child) had a great time here, perfect family vacation!!

Last minute girls weekend to Folly Beach. This house was perfect for us! We each had our own suites basically. Great location right on the beach in downtown Folly. Beautiful inside and well stocked kitchen. Elevator was not working, but did not mind the exercise and the owner was very accommodating and apologetic. We liked it so much we are coming back with the family and staying at their new property on Folly Beach! Highly recommend.

This house is absolutely amazing in so many ways. The furnishings exceeded our expectations. Everything was tastefully decorated and each room had a great feel to it. I love to cook and the kitchen was outfitted with everything you could possibly need to make a gourmet meal. The views are stunning from the ocean front rooms. We love to walk on the beach and it is very easy to get right on the beach. The house is solid as a rock as well. You cannot hear your neighbors or piezo plié out on the streets. The property manager is delightful, friendly, and so helpful. We will definitely stay here again and again!

The views were unmatched, but the house itself was so welcoming it was as much fun to stay in! The home had everything and then some. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and the rooms were all well appointed. So close to the market and restaurants we didn't even need our car.
