About this apartment rental
Two-room apartment with large and bright living room, 4 beds, private garden. Our house, located in an ancient medieval village on the outskirts of Siena, not far from many centers of artistic, naturalistic and culinary interest, such as Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, the Chianti hills and the Sienese Crete, spas such as Petriolo and Saturnia, is a construction of 1800, whose renovation, completed in 2013, we took care of personally wanting to maintain the ancient architectural features while using cutting-edge materials and techniques in respect of energy saving and ecological impact. Although we are in the historic center of Monticiano, through the "Vicolo degli Orti", you access a secluded garden where you can spend pleasant moments of true relaxation, enjoying a panoramic view that extends over the endless expanses of woods. In front of its entrance, the apartment has a private space equipped with comfortable furnishings, but it is also possible to occupy the common areas, perhaps to use the barbecue or to harvest organic vegetables or aromatic plants directly from the small vegetable garden. The renovation of the apartment wanted to keep the original structure intact, which was used as a "stable" and therefore retains the ceiling with beams, rafters and bricks and the old-made brick arch. Given the presence of two doors, the living area with kitchenette is very bright and large. A large glass door leads to the sleeping area and the bathroom. The apartment can accommodate 4 people having, in addition to the double bed, two sofa beds in the living room.

Urlaub in der Toskana
Ruhige, saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft, mit einem großen Außenbereich. Eigene Terrasse, sowie ein Garten, der gemeinschaftlich genutzt werden kann. Ein wenig schade ist, dass der beschriebene Pool sich nicht auf dem Grundstück befindet, sondern ca. 15min zu Fuß entfernt liegt. Es handelt sich hier um ein öffentliches Schwimmbad. Kleinere Restaurants/Bars, sowie ein Supermarkt sind zu Fuß innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Charming Vacation Location
Beatrice was a fantastic host and the place was recently renovated. Quaint town and I would recommend this place to other travellers. Nice Italian Restaurant in town. Great location for travelling around from.
This is a place that you wont be disappointed in.

Appartement très agréable, décoré avec gout ( style ancien). petit jardin et terrasse très bien agencé, sans vis a vis. Calme même si on est au centre du village.
Idéal pour des vacances reposantes.
Petit bémol, les places de parking sont un peut loin.

Først tak til Beatrice for nogle rigtig gode dage. Flot lejlighed og smukke omgivelser. Tæt på det lokale liv i byen og så ligger centralt i forhold til at komme rundt i det sydlige Siena området.

Pretty studio in the charming old town of Monticiano
Clean and well equipped ground-floor studio. North-west facing, stays cool in the summer. The town is lovely, we made long walks in and around it, though there is not much else to do there. The community pool is a 10-minute walk, costs some money to enter but it is much bigger than any hotel or vacation house pool.

Appartamento: bon curato, molto spazio per due persone, accogliente, comodo, molto pulito e molto tranquillo.
Fewo: gut gepflegt, viel Platz für 2 Personen, gemütlich, bequem, sehr sauber und sehr ruhig.
Tutto funziona, e a posto: cucina, riscaldamento, doccia... eccetera
Alles funktioniert bestens: Küche, Heizung, Bad, Warmwasser ..............
Una terrazza bellissima, vista libera, sole al tramonto.
Sehr schöne Terrasse mit freiem Blick und Abendsonne.
I locatori -Beatrice e Luciano- sono gentilissimi, molto simpatici e sempre pronti ad aiutare. Loro danno suggerimenti molto buoni per ristoranti, escursioni a piedi o in biciclette/mountainbike.........
Die Vermieter -Beatrice und Luciano- sind sehr liebenswerte, freundliche und hilfsbereite Leute. Sie haben viele Tipps für Restaurants, Einkauf, Wanderungen, Spaziergänge, Fahrradtouren.....
Monticiano e un borgo piccolo con un bel centro storico. Ci sono un supermercato sufficiente e un panificio. Da Monticiano si ha molte occasioni di fare delle gite e escursioni bellissime - al mare, in collini, lungo i fiumi, a Siena o altre citta......
Monticiano ist ein kleiner Ort mit einem hübschen, historischen Zentrum. Es gibt einen ausreichenden Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei. Von hier sind viele, sehr schöne Ausflüge in die wunderschöne Hügellandschaft, entlang an Flüssen, ans Meer oder nach Siena oder andere Städte leicht möglich.

La casa y el trato de los propietarios muy bueno
Nosotros éramos 4 con dos peques .La casa es un 10, espaciosa y muy fresca, además con terraza y patio. Nos la encontramos muy limpia.El trato de Beatrice y su marido muy bueno también, muy atentos en todo momento de sí necesitabas alguna cosa. El pueblo muy tranquilo pero con servicios,súper, bares,farmacia.El único inconveniente es que para llegar al pueblo hay algunos km de bastantes curvas.

bellissimo soggiorno
Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni in questa abitazione, accolti amichevolmente dalla sig,ra Beatrice e la sua famiglia, sempre disponibili per ogni esigenza. L'appartamento è esattamente come nelle foto, pulitissimo e accessoriato di tutto. Nelle vicinanze ci sono tante cose da vedere. Siamo stati benissimo. Grazie!

La vacanza che cercavamo: tranquillita' , relax, posto bellissimo , ad un'ora d'auto da tutti i luoghi piu' interessanti .L'appartamento stupendo e molto ben curato, con un piccolo orto - giardino dove potersi rilassare.

Breve soggiorno
Il soggiorno con i bambini è stato molto breve ma sufficiente per apprezzare l'appartamento -la stalla- ristrutturato con gusto, con quel bellissimo soffitto in travi, il caldo cotto a terra e la madia di un tempo. Suggerisco la fornitura di prodotti di cortesia per il bagno e un asciugacapelli...ma la pulizia è impeccabile! La gente del posto e' molto accogliente, invitandoci a visitare San Galgano con la sua Abbazia e l'antico eremo di Montesiepi dove si trova la "vera" spada nella roccia! Un posto incantevole.

Beautiful apartment in the Tuscany region
Beatrice and her husband were very accomodating and friendly. My family and I will definitely return to this apartment. This rental is located away from the hustle and noise of the big city. It is quiet, clean, and very beautiful. You are very much in touch with nature in this location. Towns people are friendly and welcoming. All of your home needs are there. This rental is as if you were in paradise. Great location and accessible to the city of Sienna.

Lovely apartment in Tuscan village
We stayed with Beatrice in the one bedroom apartment for 4 night in June. It was a lovely place. Beatrice and her husband were excellent hosts and the apartment was lovely and very clean. If you want somewhere quiet and a little bit out of the way but in a village that has everything you need then I would highly recommend this place.
