About this apartment rental
Fabulous apartment at the foot of the Alhambra. Located in Carrera del Darro itself, in an old building from the beginning of the century preserving its central courtyard with columns, high wooden ceilings, completely renovated for your comfort but without losing the signs of identity that make it unique. A few minutes from the Mirador de San Nicolás, Sacromonte, Cathedral ... Taxi access to the same door, since the Albaicin neighborhood, where we are, was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1994, and because of this Vehicle traffic is very restricted. Surrounded by the typical tapas bars, teterias, caves with flamenco tablaos, what you can imagine to rest, stroll, leisure ... and have fun decide what you decide without depending on car for it squeezing the most every moment.

This place was great, wonderfully decorated and very friendly and welcoming. If you are a light sleeper, the windows don't block out much of the outside noise. If you are a sound sleeper this place is great.

Overall a lovely little apartment right on the Carrera del Darro in a typical old building with several similar apartments all backing onto a central atrium - the atrium door opens right onto the Carrera del Darro, and in a few paces you're looking up at the Alhambra from a lovely public space with several reasonably-priced restaurants, a guitarist or 2 playing Spanish music, etc.
The Albaicin is right behind, with lovely little streets and more bars/restaurants, & within a short (steep) walk you reach Mirador de San Nicolas with a fantastic view of the Alhambra from across the valley.
The apartment's well-appointed including a washing machine. It is small, but with the sofa bed it could fairly easily sleep 6 people (but could feel a bit of a squeeze). The kitchen is very small but perfectly functional and adequate.
The only real problem we had was with the street noise outside, especially at night - Carrera del Darro (cobbled street) has taxis, buses, delivery vehicles & mopeds going past at regular intervals all night & so we found it impossible to sleep in the lower double bedroom. We resorted to one of us sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, the other buying earplugs from the local supermarket. It's a ground floor apartment and some windows back directly onto a side street.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here but we'd urge the owners to address the noise issues somehow.

We were told the host would greet as at the property location (granted it was late10 pm) but instead we were directed from our taxi drop off point over the phone.
The following morning, she dropped by but was in a rush and not inclined to take time to give recommendations or advise.
The accommodation was in a terrific location on a historically significant street and central to heart of Granada.
It was attractive with comfortable beds, and we did appreciate the bottle of wine and 2 cervesas.

We arrived in Granada by train and it was an easy taxi ride to the property. A photo of the exterior might help as from the outside it does not look like the right place and there was no one immediately there to let us in (we were a little earlier than we'd said). However a quick phone call to the contact given us by the owner and we were in! Our ground floor apartment was spotlessly clean, well appointed and with some lovely touches. Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine, beer, olives and sweets! The apartment has no natural daylight and other than the wonderful entrance courtyard, no sense of 'outside' but after a day of sightseeing and hustle and bustle it provided a lovely oasis of quiet. Perfect for a break in February!

This is a very cute little apartment that is in the historical district. You can see the Alhambra from inside the gate through the patio opening.
We walked everywhere while we stayed there. Walked to Alhambra and multiple shops and restaurants.

We had a very stressful CheckIn! In fairness this does not seem to be typical and there were very extenuating circumstances for it. Francisco worked had for make it right. I don’t think others would have this experience.
WiFi reception was not great. I had to get some work done and it made things challenging. Francisco helped identify places I could go and get WiFi with a beverage which worked out well. He states they are working to update WiFi.

The apartment was well decorated and perfectly appointed. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The weather was quite cold in Grenada in late Dec and the apartment is better suited to warmer season visits, but we were quite pleased with everything despite the cold weather.

We are a small family from Canada who spent almost 3 weeks in Granada while studying Spanish and enjoying the sights. The apartment was conveniently located on Carrera del Darro, which can get quite busy at times. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen a bit small for our needs but worked well enough. Granada is such a beautiful place!

My husband, our 16-year-old daughter, and I loved our stay at Meraki Suites. It was tucked off the main street by a private entrance courtyard, and once outside, we were right in the heart of the Albaicin. The place was decorated beautifully. The cost of the rental was very fair.
If we needed anything, we just texted Carmen, and she quickly supplied it. She was wonderful! She made reservations for us at an amazing restaurant she recommended. She arranged our taxi when it was time to leave, which was very helpful.
There was a bit of street noise in the bedrooms at night, but it wasn't a problem--I just used a white noise app on my phone to drown it out. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was great. Allowed for great walking to bars restaurants and shops. Carmen was excellent at meeting us at checking and provided us with a bottle of red wine and beers at check ins. Very hospital. Sadly had to reach out to VRBO customer service to get check in day information from owner. Owner was not very responsive.

We stayed Meraki Suites 3 nights for our Granada exploring. Overall, we are pretty happy to find such place like Meraki Suites. Wonderful location, cozy apartment, all articles for daily use (more than we expected), a battle of wine for welcome, and icy beers in refrig!
Only a few things, the building is located right on the main street of the old town, so convenience. But we can hear people and vehicles even after the midnight in our bedroom(the location's pro and cons); there is no front desk or Apartment sign or any person around could help you confirm the place and check-in after your arrival. Make sure to contact their manager before you come and settle all your arrival details with them if you, like us, are international travelers, don't have local phone service and don't speak Spanish. Overall, we love this place!

Wonderful stay in Granada!
Great host, clean apartment and fantastic communication throughout our stay. The apartment had everything me and my family needed in a very cool area of Granada. Extremely secure apartment where we all felt safe and secure. Everything we needed was within walking distance and the view of Alhambra was inspiring.
There is a hostel in the alley next to the apartment so there was some noise late at night but it was not disruptive to me or my family.

Lodging is in historic area of Granada along the Darro. Everything is accessible by foot. Safe and comfortable. Carmen made special dinner recommendations and reservations for us.

Fabulous location
Apartment is secure and pleasant. Views of Alhambra just across the street. Good buses to sites just outside the door. Easy to explore Albaicin and sacromonte neighborhoods. Many shops right next door! Apartment is well equipped but no clothes dryer. We were able to cook meals in kitchen. We had wonderful 8 days here.

Our check in time was listed as 3pm on the property listing, but the day before we arrived the owner changed our time to 4pm. When someone arrived to let us in at 4pm, she informed us that the apartment hadn't been cleaned from previous tenants and she would need an additional hour to make sure it was ready for us. We were so jet lagged and exhausted from traveling for over 24 hours to get there so it was just an added frustration to arrive to an apartment that hadn't been made ready for our arrival. If check in is at 4pm, the space should be clean and ready at 4pm! It didn't end up being a huge deal, as we just set down our bags and laid on the couch while the apartment was cleaned around us, but it did set a strange tone for the start of our otherwise wonderful experience.

Beautifully clean and well presented apartment. Perfect location for the Alhambra , restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Carmen the manager was extremely helpful. Comfortable beds. Nicely cool inside . The kitchen could do with a kettle and some sharp knives. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in Granada
They apartment is very comfortable with a nice decor and the location is fabulous - right in the shadow of Alhambra, with beautiful views at night. Our hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming, including cold drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine to relax after a day of travel. And Carmen, who lives in the building and helped settle us in, made some great restaurant recommendations and helped with reservations and transportation. We would stay there again and recommend it without hesitation.

Nice Place super close to La Alhambra
Apartment was beautiful, pictures do not describe how pretty and comfortable this place is. Super close to everything: to the Alhambra, to the Miradero San Nicolas, stores, the old town, etc. We had to wait a little bit for the keys because I miscalculated the arrival time -we got there earlier as we had our planned- but we forgot about it as soon we got into the apartment. The rooms were fresh and it was quiet at night. My daughters and my husband enjoyed their stay so much. If you want to be close to all the historical places in Granada, this is the right apartment for you.

Carrera del Darro
In spite of a mix up on what day we were to arrive, everything was perfect! The location was great, beautiful surroundings, a nice tapas bar across the street.....and the apartment looked amazing. Ana Belen and her brothers made us feel at home with do many welcome gifts: water, local wine and even candy. What a visit to beautiful Granada.

Das Appartement liegt direkt im maurisch geprägten Viertel Albayzìn in der Carrera del Darro. Die Ausstattung hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein willkommen geheißen, Espresso, Kaffee und verschiedene Teesorten sind vorrätig. Das Appartement ist sehr gut gepflegt. In der selben Strasse befindet sich ein Frühstückslokal, das Coffee Duran. welches sehr zu empfehlen ist. Vom nahe gelegenen Paeo Padre Marjòn ist die Alhambra, die bei Dunkelheit wunderschön angestrahlt wird, zu sehen. Check-in und check-out waren gut organisiert und liefen absprachegemäß. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir sogar Anregungen für Unternehmungen in Granada erhalten. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Appartement und die Vermieter uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Excellent property in a fabulous location.
A beautifully restored space. We were very comfortable and happy. Our only small concern was that the second bedroom (with the twin beds) is not actually a ‘room’ but a sort of mezzanine floor without a door. My elderly mum couldn’t manage those stairs and wouldn’t like the lack of privacy from no door so we had to let her have the double room downstairs. Not a big deal... but it would have helped to know a bit more in advance about the actual layout. The owners were super efficient and helpful in all their contact with us. Thank you for a memorable and excellent place to stay.

Am Ufer des Darro schön gelegen
Direkt gegenüber der Alhambra am Flüsschen Darro gelegen kommt man sofort zu Fuß ins Zentrum, auf den Albaicin oder hoch zur Alhambra. Die Vermieter kümmern sich sehr, dass der Aufenthalt angenehm wird. Im Februar ist die Wohnung etwas kalt, kann aber durch bereitgestellte Heizkörper aufgewärmt werden. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Betten sehr bequem. Über Whatsapp wurden wir mit Tipps versorgt. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Fin de semana en Granda en parejas
Veníamos de Valencia y estuvimos en Granada 2 noches dos parejas en Meraki Suites, en todo momento la anfitriona estuvo atenta al whatsapp para las dudas. El apartamento está situado en uno de mis sitos favoritos de la ciudad, El Paseo de los Tristes que además está muy cerca de las zonas céntricas e históricas de interés. La casa es preciosa y no le falta un detalle, puede darte pereza salir a la calle cuando te tomas una cervecita esperando a que el grupo esté listo para empezar a turistear!!
La relación calidad precio es insuperable.

Piso muy bonito, al lado de la Alhambra, zona tranquila.
Hemos ido a pasar un fin de semana a Granada y decidimos optar por este apartamento porque se veía bien ubicado y tenía buena pinta. Desde el primer momento fran, uno de los encargados, se ha preocupado por nosotros, y se ha centrado en que disfrutaremos de nuestra estancia. Tanto el como su cuñado, unos hombres muy simpáticos y atentos. En cuanto al piso, impecable en la entrada, reformado y moderno, adaptado al ambiente de la ciudad. Poco más que decir, simplemente que se que si vuelvo a Granada volveré a este apartamento sin dudarlo, tanto por el apartamento como por el trato recibido y la atención puesta por los dueños. No dudéis, 100% de confianza!!
