The house is a great size. There were 12 of us and plenty of space for us all without feeling like we were on top of each other.
The outdoor space is beautiful and very private. Little boutique touches such as towels and flannels made it that bit extra special, it felt like we were staying in a hotel and had the place to ourselves.
The kitchen and larder had everything we could need for cooking and the pizza oven outside was a bonus!
The house is in a lovely village and the local pub is fantastic. Bideford and Westward Ho are close by and are great places to visit.
We had a fantastic time and would love to return!

After cancelled holidays over the last couple of years due to Covid we, four families coming together, were ready for this holiday and Abbotsham proved to be a wonderful place to relax as well as provide the space for the grandchildren to enjoy the open garden in front of the house. While feeling you were in the middle of nowhere you are only a five minute drive away from all the amenities you could need as well as being close to Westward Ho! and the beach there. Any initial issues we had with the property were quickly resolved by Rose and Debby, the house keeper, which was greatly appreciated. Many happy memories were made on this holiday and this was, in part, down to Abbotsham house and it’s location.

Family Holiday
We were a party of 10 staying at the house to celebrate a family birthday. The property exceeded our expectations in terms of size and presentation, everyone agreed it was perfect. In particular, the kitchen is a great space to socialise. Despite there being 10 of us you could always find space to chill on your own if you wanted. The garden at the front is an amazing space set well back from the road; great for kids and adults alike. The host was great too; always responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and during the stay.
