A home away from home

after a very long trip from Australia, we arrived and we were tired and hungry. To see all the beautiful touches they had left for us, yummy sandwich, ice cream cakes, chocolate cake, fruit etc, it was fantastic. Even though the building is very old, it was clean and fresh. The bed was super comfortable. Our hosts were very very helpful and friendly. And the location is perfect, it's right in the middle of everything, and easy access to the taxi when needed.

This didn't bother me, but if you go to bed early, this spot may be a bit noisy. The culture is to stay out very late and have a good time, which we tried to do.

Mediterrán paradicsom

Gyönyörű, hangulatos szobáik vannak. A konyha tele volt finom falatokkal, a felszereltsége minden várakozásunkat felül múlta. A tulajok segítőkészek voltak, szívesen válaszoltak minden kérdésünkre és segítettek ha tudtak. Az elhelyezkedése nagyon kényelmes, a látnivalók könnyen megközelíthetőek, a környék pedig csodaszép. A régi kis utcák összevissza kanyarodnak, cicák fordulnak meg minden sarkon. Összeségében egy kis mediterrán paradicsom.

Egyedül a nappaliban lévő ágyat nem éreztünk elég stabilnak ahhoz hogy két felnőtt embet nyugodtan elférhessen rajta. De ezen kívül minden tökéletes volt.

Antonia is generously stocked and in a great location.

The apartment was stocked with everything you could need or think of. We were amazed at all of the food left for us in the fridge and everywhere else. The apartment is large and comfortable with a great location. Even detergent pods were supplied and Greg had great communication before check-in.

When we walked in and saw a stack of flooring we learned Greg would be working on his apartment which is actually directly above where you are staying. There is a shared stairwell leading to his apartment upstairs. This is convenient when you need something but you can hear him walking around when he is home and particularly when he was working on updating the apartment.

Exceptional in every way. The house was very clean with cupboards full of everything you could think of from creams, shampoos all the way to brand new baby bottles and games to entertain the little ones We arrived to find the kitchen full of hand made cookies, every kind of cereal known to man (individually wrapped) jams,toast and so much more The location is amazing. Right in the middle of old town close to all the action ☺️ Gregoris was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. If we ever go back to Chania we will stay at Antonia"s again with no hesitation.

It was everything we could’ve possibly asked for and more!

We loved all the complimentary food when we arrived at the room, it was beautifully set up as were the beds too. The room was absolutely divine!

location in the old city, close to the harbour and number of shops and restaurants character of the apartment (old with style) hospitality of the landlord (nice food and vine left for us, plus other essentials like coffee etc.) host contacted us during our stay to confirm that all was good

second bed was not comfortable it was very loud during the night as the property is close to the many restaurants etc.

Excellence in hospitality

It is hard to describe this place in words as one has to experience it to truly understand how amazing everything is. Spotless clean, very comfortable, beautiful design, all the extras you can think of in terms of cosmetics, and the most delicious and diverse homemade treats. The location is wonderful, right in the old centre on the charming narrow streets and close to all nice bars and tavernas. More than anything, Greg and his mom are the kindest people, always available and able to answer or provide anything one may wish. I couldn’t recommend this place enough; you will have the time of your life.

Great location & Great host!

Greg was so kind and picked us up from the airport even it was a late flight. He showed us everything at check in. He had many goodies for us to enjoy. The location is amazing in the middle of everything but far away from the noise at night. I highly recommend his home.

Absolutely Fantastic!

The apartment was incredible! Amazing style, very clean with many perfect little details. It had everything there - from extra tooth brushes to local alcoholic beverages. Even though we didn’t get to meet the host, he and his mother were extremely helpful every step of the way. The mother welcomed us with a home made local pastries, and on one random morning she even left us delicious a warm home made meal (along with a sweet note) for breakfast in front of the door before we even woke up! All that combined with an ideal location, on a tiny little street in the heart of the old town makes this apartment absolutely fantastic! We really hope to stay there again sometime in the future.
