The property was in a gorgeous older neighborhood away from all the city noise and traffic but close enough to it that you don't have to drive forever to get somewhere. The house is gorgeous inside and out with all the things you need inside. Would definitely stay here with my family again and would most definitely recommend to friends and family! Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay.

The resident is a nice older family home. The home is full of family jewels. There are plenty of essentials in the house. The house was clean and it slept well. The house does not have adequate window curtains/shades, and this made me and my guest very uncomfortable and unsafe. In this day and time large windows and patio doors should not be left uncovered. There were 6 ladies in the house and we felt very unsafe. For this reason, this location will not be a re-vist for me.

This property could not have been more perfect for me and my son's family. (Loved having the casita!) The neighborhood was quiet, and we felt very safe. We were close to everything we wanted to visit. We all really appreciated and enjoyed the character and decor of the house; it brought back many memories.

We’ve stayed at many rentals. This one is our favorite! Beautiful and unique in every way. The original art work is gorgeous. All the comforts of home are here. We really enjoyed the peaceful yard.

The house was beautiful, and the patio was also well appreciated. We were amazed at the roominess and peacefulness of the area. We were there for the graduation of our grandson from army medic. We could hear reveille and taps from the house. Highly recommend this facility for anyone. Very spacious.

This is a wonderful old house conveniently located by Ft. Sam Houston and downtown San Antonio. There is a lot of space in this house and we were very comfortable. The streets in the neighborhood area are extremely uneven and that is really my only concern. If we were to ever have a reason to go back to San Antonio I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and historic home. We had a chance to warm up from a long winter, while enjoying our family stationed at the nearby base. The lovely patio and front porch were a welcome respite as we relaxed, reconnected and enjoyed the birds and pretty plants. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with the equipment we needed to cook and serve whatever we wanted. The amazing artwork inspired us to enjoy the beauty and culture of San Antonio.

Could not recommend staying in this home enough if you are visiting San Antonio. Great location to get just about anywhere. The house is beautiful as the pictures can attest. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming.

This midcentury house is very homey. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful artwork throughout the home and the lovely backyard. The check in process was easy, and the owner was very responsive and accommodating. The location is great, close to downtown, the river walk, and the Pearl. We highly recommend this home.

We enjoyed our stay in this 50’s Vintage home. It is full of delightful artwork, books & momentous from the San Antonio area. The two patios provide a calm getaway after a day of site seeing & the beds are super comfy! The owner was kind & helpful, which made our stay peaceful & fun.

What a great find! So charming and spacious! I dont think you could even use all of the room? Each space was fun to be in! We had a fantastic stay. It is older but thats what we liked about it. It is fully function and comfortable. Beds were really, really good. Quiet, safe neighborhood was great for walking. Its a terrific value for what we got. Definitely would recommend and we will stay there again.

Perfect spot for a visit! Close to amenities but secluded enough for your family/friend time to feel like true quality time. Our second visit and can’t wait to plan for 2024! We felt like we were visiting grandma. The house is furnished like it was back in the day--it felt like Mike Brady could walk in any minute--and is stocked with everything you need. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with restaurants nearby. Try Sorrento's pizza. You won't regret it. David is available by text for anything you might need. I don't really believe in vibes but this place had good ones for us immediately. The artwork from Adriel is the icing on the cake.

great! like a 1960s time capsule (in a good way) I loved it and the yard/patio,etc. beautiful neighborhood super convenient to river walk and town.......beds were very comfortable, guest house great for adult kids, plenty of supplies, etc. So much better than having my 95 year old mom stay in a busy hotel. Nice and quiet .

This is an older home, built in 1950 and has a lot of character. Excellent owners who went out of their way to ensure that we were happy. The house is nicely located neat several restaurants and an HEB market. I would highly recommend this property.

70 year old house that has had attempts to make it more modern and livable. Some worked out very well a few maybe fell just short of the target. All in all it was a very comfortable stay in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Just make sure you are aware that the two bedrooms with large beds are in seperate houses. Our 2 person group had too split up with one staying in the main house and one in the casita. Might be an issue for some and not for others, minor one for me.
