First of all the B&B was unlike any B&B we have ever stayed in. We were greeted on arrival by being told that breakfast was between 8 and 10 and consisted of cereal followed by scrambled egg with toast. Well we both like scrambled egg but after a horrendous night's sleep or lack of it, in what could only be described as a very tiny box room, we were presented with a dinner plate full of 'scrambled eggs' which were probably made in the microwave from powdered egg - they were totally rubbery... Then along came a plate with 4 slices of white toast on it. There you go... All this luxury for 80 euro ! Never again.

This is a perfect location for shopping in Lahinch, walking the beautiful promenade by the sea and exploring the Cliffs of Moher.

Perfect for a stay in Lahinch, just a short walk down to the centre. A good nights sleep was followed by a lovely homecooked breakfast. Liam is a friendly and welcoming Host - we would happily return.

Proximity to Lahinch and very friendly hosts!

Everything was excellent. It was quite and the breakfast was very nice. The bedroom, although small, very nice for the price and had its own bathroom which was well equipped! We really enjoyed the stay.

Great location walking distance to town.
The house and rooms smelt like cigarette smoke. We couldn’t check in to our room until 6pm even though we arrived at 3pm as the room hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom was across the hall even though it was advertised as ensuite. Breakfast was scrambled eggs on toast and cereal - we’ve stayed at many bnbs across Ireland for the same price and this was the only one with very little options for breakfast.

Pretty standard place, well positioned.
The shower has a mystifying hot water system. You need to pull a cord to trigger the hot water, but it is not at all obvious - they need a notice.

The breakfast was disappointing. Just scrambled eggs and a tomato were the only cooked options

Agnes and Liam were extremely nice and helpful couldn't do enough for my friend and I.

The location.
We were asked what time we would like breakfast but the chef said that she didn't know what time we would be eating. The breakfast was already cooked when we arrived for it and had to be reheated, so was hard.

Agnes & Liam are very hospitable. They welcomed us when we first arrived. The location is ideal, near the beach and town for plenty of places to eat and drink. It's also in driving distance of a lot of nice locations to visit.
The rooms are very small and we did have to ask for coat hangers to hang up clothes. There are 3 bedrooms, one bedroom we used for the first night had the bathroom across the corridor which we didn't like. None of the TVs work in the bedrooms and was told that guests had stolen the remote controls, but they still didn't work by using the TV controls. There was no continental breakfast, just toast and eggs and cereal. No lounge area to sit and play cards as it's in the dining room which is set up for breakfast. Had to ask for fresh towels. Ate out for breakfast one morning as we weren't allowed in the dining room as there was already another guest in there.

The owner is very nice. The breakfast helps you to start the day! Only 5 minutes far from the village where you can eat and find everything you need. Ideal place to rest after a day spent around (Cliffs of Moher are very close)

I didn't know Lahinch was a famous beach, so it was a nice surprise. We chose the place because it is very close to the Cliff of Moher's.
There was no one when we arrived, until the morning after, so we were a little bit confused initially.

Liam and his mother were extremely friendly.
They suggested places to go and routes to take for walks .
Liam even dropped us off at Liscannor where our walk started from

Lovely staff, nice and quiet location.
Bathrooms are a bit small.
4.0
1. the room was clean and fresh towels were left out
2. the central location of the B & B
3. good recommendation of where to eat
4. wi-fi worked.
The owners had made clear before I had arrived that full Irish breakfast was not included in the price.
1. the TV in the bedroom would not switch on (remote control was missing)
2. weeds were growing through drains in the ground and at side wall.
3. the picnic table at front of the house was broken
4. the toilet seat was not attached securely to the toilet
5. A tile is missing around the pipes to the toilet
6. Corners of the slate sign with the name of the house had fallen off
The B & B seems to have had no negative reviews until this year. I note that in 2022 there have been a number of ambivalent reviews starting to appear. Each issue that I had was small, but there were so many small issues I was left disappointed - I got so much more at other B & Bs (in tourist spots) for the same or lesser cost, including at weekends. The issues should be easily solvable by the proprietors and I hope they can fix them and upload photos of the remedial work so that future reviews by patrons will show that this has become a good value B & B.
