Prima lokatie alles op loopafstand

Erg hulpvaardige host en medewerker. Kamer voorzien van goede douche. Geen eigen koelkast maar je kan die in de keuken gebruiken evenals de keuken zelf. Stoelen buiten zijn niet echt om lang gemakkelijk te zitten. Lokatie is prima dicht genoeg bij restaurants en ook de green zone.

Аутентичная атмосфера старинного дома . Чисто , свежий ремонт . Предлагаются халаты ! Хороший завтрак +возможность воспользоваться кухней . Очень дружелюбная хозяйка

Комната тесная и кровать 140 см , то есть полуторка , а не двуспальная . Нет лифта , лестница высокая и крутая . Оцените свои возможности подъема тяжелого багажа .Было недопонимание по оплате : не было информации на booking, что нужно платить наличными ; ожидала , что будет оплата списана с карты автоматически .

The house is authentic and spotless, the breakfast is filling and fresh. The host and the lady taking care of the house are really trying their best. Disclaimer: To be ok at this place, one needs to put it into the story and the political context of Northern Nicosia.. the house is in a run down neighbourhood with old and decommissioned houses with noisy Turkish families around and music. But these are part of the sightseeing and the journey. If you chose to stay behind the border and you find the surroundings difficult to live with.. it is your problem.. not the host’s.

I suggest putting 2 adapters in the room instead of one. We struggled with that.

Kleine gemütliche Unterkunft

Hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Innenhof. Schönes kleines Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Haben bei Ankunft viele Informationen und Empfehlungen für die Umgebung bekommen. Fragen wurden sofort per WhatsApp beantwortet. Sehr schönes Gebäude. Es gibt insgesamt nur drei Zimmer zur Vermietung. Morgens gibt es ein kleines typisches Frühstück aus Brot, selbst gemachter Marmelade, Tomaten, Gurken, Halomikäse und eine Eierspeise. Es gibt eine kleine Küche, da kann man den Kühlschrank, Herd und Backofen benutzen.

An die Umgebung muss man sich erst mal gewöhnen. Liegt etwas außerhalb vom touristischen Zentrum und dennoch gut in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Aanrader als startpunt om Lefkosa en het noorden van Cyprus te verkennen.

Fantastisch opgevangen en hele fijne eigenaar (Memduh) en zijn gastvrouw die aan de overkant woont. We worden goed verzorgd door hen en helpen ons met alles. Inclusief de taxi van Larnaca airport naar het Noordelijke deel van Lefkosa (Nicosia).

Cosy and welcoming

It’s a small property with only three rooms and a small outdoor breakfast space. Breakfast is freshly made and tasty. The rooms have air conditioning and are nice and comfortable. The interaction with the host and his ideas and helpful information made our stay very pleasant.

very nice property, everything is so authentic and clean! also the location is great as is super close to the city center. the main host Memduh is really nice and gave us a present- natural soap from his manufacture. the lady who is cleaning and making breakfast is adorable!

The hosting lady did not speak English, but she was nice and google translate helped. We got good classical breakfast. Bed was comfy enough. I did miss a hair dryer, which I could not find. You have to go for the dinner elsewhere in the town.

Authentic and fantastic Turkish Cypriot experience!

Fantastic stay at a newly refurbished townhouse that was probably built before most of us here were even alive. Getting there on foot from the checkpoints might seem a little dodgy, especially at night where there street lighting is minimal. The location is actually close to the edge of the old town but it is maximum 10min on foot, 15min if you get lost in the warren of sokaks. However, it is very safe. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owner was very accommodating, as was the lady running the breakfast show and check-in. Adjacent properties rear chickens and roosters, so wear an ear plug to sleep if you mind getting woken up at day break. Internet might be a little spotty outside in the courtyard, but it works just fine indoors.

Directions from the checkpoint could have been provided.

Basically a boutique hotel for the price of budget accommodation.

Our room was the same as in the photos; immaculately clean and well-equipped. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom looked brand new. We received handmade soaps instead of the usual plastic bottled shower gels, which was a lovely detail. Bougainvillea Garden is located in a beautifully restored heritage building with stylish furniture and interior design. We especially loved the brass detail of the bed frame; it is truly a masterpiece. Our hosts were very courteous and helpful. One spoke English well and was always available on the chat whenever we had questions. He also gave us many tips about places to visit in the city. We received a warm welcome and a cold drink at check-in. The kitchen was always open, with free coffee and other beverages available. The breakfast was delicious and filling, with several homemade ingredients.

- the very friendly host and the personal - the location and the northern part of Nikosia - the amazing breakfast and welcome lemonade - very friendly neighbourhood and locals - there is a small 24/7 market nearby - the furnishing of the accommondation is nice We had a great time, Memduh, thank you very much! Very nice stay in the Northern part of Nicosia

Bougainville Garden is such a lovely place in the Northern part of Nicosia. The hotel is located in a residential area within the old town, which makes staying there a really authentic and non-touristic experience. Nevertheless all sights and also the checkpoint to the South are in walking distance. The hotel welcomes you very warmly and serves nice breakfast every morning in their garden/terrace. We totally enjoyed our stay.

A nice simple place to choose for North Nicosia

We stayed just for one night and found it to be a lovely simple place. We were welcomed with a much needed cool drink, and the room was small but clean and comfortable. We felt very relaxed there. The hosts were very kind, and the breakfast outside on the small terrace was delicious and a very nice experience. If you like cats, you'll like it here :-)

Only very minor things - The toilet seat in our room needs fixing, a bit wobbly! Oh, and the card machine seemed to insist on applying dynamic currency conversion strangely, so perhaps best to pay in cash.

Amazing atmosphere

The house is beautiful with great atmosphere and attention to details. Host was very welcoming and gave many tips, even showed up personally to meet me.

A lovely guesthouse managed by wonderful hosts with a great breakfast!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I received a lemonde upon check in as well as a form to indicate my preferences for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. The room was quite comfortable too.

The only downside I can say is the street noise outside the bedroom. Noisy kids in the street at night and a garbage truck at 2am. But unfortunately these things are out of the hosts hands, and they certainly did not ruin my stay by any means.
