About this resort
At Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, we have 2 consecutive weeks (week #51 and #52). This unit sleeps 2 in master King Size bedroom and; 2/4 in the guest bedroom with 2 Queen Size beds. A luxurious living space can accommodate children and guests in pull out sofa. Each room has private balconies & each balcony has ocean views. The unit is located within 800 feet of the children's Play Pool and Play Room. Another Ocean View is from the master bathroom’s Jacuzzi/Jetted Hot Tub.
The unit is within walking distance to the Lobby/Main Building where a majority of the restaurants are located (others also are on the property) and the “local market” for milk, breads, post cards, gifts etc.
Additionally, just a quick ride up a hill from the lobby is The Market Place. Simply put, a large upscale international food court.
The unit has a full kitchen (dishwasher see, stove, microwave oven, refrigerator etc.) for morning breakfasts or if your bringing back “doggie bags.”.
We’re secluded from the noise of downtown Cabo, however a free shuttle gets you there and back within minutes; when your ready to party and then return to peace and quiet. This is a PRIVATE BEACH only for Pueblo Bonito members & their guests. Also note:NO VENDOR’s allowed. Only the Pacific Ocean hotels actually see the sunset. Additionally, you can take advantage of Pueblo Bonito’s 2 “Cabo” sister properties, enjoy their amenities and swim in the Sea of Cortez.
Spend a romantic dinner on the beach under a tent and the evening stars.
Or play golf on Quivra, Jack Nicklaus’ Signature corse.
For an all-inclusive experience that will appeal particularly to families, the all-suites Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort on the Pacific side of Cabo is a choice that delights both parents and children. Kids up to 11 can join the kids camp all day long and be treated to outdoor activities like pool games, treasure hunts, and beach volleyball. There's even a "fun lab" with an arcade and PlayStation consoles when it's time to cool down.
The resort is so large (over 700 suites and six swimming pools) that adults will barely notice the children, especially when ensconced in the spa. The all-inclusive package covers all food and beverages (try the top-notch Mexican cuisine at LaFrida Restaurant, my favorite is the Michoacán pork carnitas) day and night, as well as some of the activities at the resort, including Spanish lessons, cooking classes, water aerobics, dancing lessons, and bingo. As a golfer, I especially appreciated the access to the Quivira Golf Club and its Jack Nicklaus-designed oceanfront course. It's a real beauty, challenging and incredibly scenic all at once. Playing a round costs extra, as do spa treatments and other adventure excursions away from the resort.
Oh yeah, almost forgot about the activities in Cabo - jet ski, whale watching, sports fishing, dinner cruise Nite Life, Cabo Wabo etc. Bring binoculars as well.

Fantastic stay. Fantastic Host.
We took our family for a quick escape from the rain and had a great time. The unit was spacious and nicely appointed.
Best of all, Paul, our host was super communicative and really helpful in giving us all the information we needed to help make our stay a pleasant one. Would def come back again.

Great location and an Amazing View!
12 days was not long enought! We thoughtly enjoyed our time at Sunset Beach during Christmas/Bew Years. The unit had a great location steps from 3 pools/swim up bar and Hot Tub. The views of the Pacific Ocean were breath taking. I would defiantly return to the resort in future years. Dennis was great to deal with and very attentive to any questions or concerns that came up. My only wish was that the resort offered self serve laundry.

X-mas &/or New Year-perfect for family or yourself
We first visited Sunset Beach in 2003. There were a lot of hotels at that time, today there are over 130 resort hotels in Cabo, with four Pueblo Bonito brands. When it comes to a family resort, Sunset Beach is in the Top 1%. It may not be #1 in ALL of Cabo; but you'll come away feeling not far off.
Montecristo Estates Luxury Villas (could be # 1 in All of Cabo) and PB Sunset Beach share the same mountain; along with the Pacifica resort (Adults Only) these share the same entrance.
When you arrive, the views are breathtaking. Montecristo Estates has the top half of the mountain while Sunset Beach has the lower half. But checking-in at sunset Beach, these views are now up close and personal. Especially for Whale Watching from your balcony or watching from the beach. Yes, at the other hotels you can do the same thing - but you're closer!
You never want to leave the property - everything you need is there. Restaurants, Mini Markets, Pools, Golf, Play Room for the kids. But visit the 3 sister hotels with the free bus service provided., Pacifica is nearby and Rose & Los Cabos are in town.
From the Rose, it is a 10-13 minute walk into town - shops - dining -entertainment - and the Cabo nightlife.
Spending Christmas and/or New Years at Sunset Beach / Cabo with the family has provided us a life long memory which brings a smile, a chuckle and a good feeling inside.
The same will happen to everyone who joins your vacation.
P.S. Between the Pacifica & very close to Sunset Beach, sits a large home. It belongs to the owner of Pueblo Bonito Resorts (one of many I'm sure) built in 2003. I was able to view this while under construction, and was very impressed. Now if I somehow could get invited to see what the completed home looks like.
I mention this because if he could build anywhere and chose to build here, well...
