Nice short break

Decor was lovely, comfy bed food in restaurant fabulous and authentic. Staff very attentive, obviously Family run. Try and get full sea view. No double glazing, but did gave good hearer and air con unit in the room. Large cobweb in window and Sky TV. Could smell wacky back in the corridors. Be mindful of having to pay for parking, numberplate recognition camera in car park behing Hotel who are trying to buy it . Current owner does charge alot, but it is the cheapest in Clacton. Pleasant little place. Also hotel has discounts in beauty bar and restaurant to guests.

Could have been cleaner a few stains on the carpet, cobwebs if you look for them, bathroom a little small, but functional

Shower ,mixer wasn't working, too hot ,and restaurant service very slow and got orders wrong, staff not experienced enough

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was included and was good. Our room was facing directly towards the club across the street and it was very loud all the time, we couldn't managed to sleep properly. Shower was great. The bed was a bit small and not so comfortable.

very little compensation offered 40% next stay....... like i would stay again!!!!!

they took my money!

no sofa to sit on it had been removed - we came to crochet on the sofa watching tv! the spa bubbles in the bath didn't work the blinds wouldn't close 2 of them, bathing was dodgy and the light in the morning was very bright. television was blipping and we called for help couldn't watch tv all evening. looked for the coffee maker...never was found! ....premium room meant coffee maker as the kettle was stated differently. also advised to watch out the the kettle as it over fills the cups and spirits out... no where to sit and blow dry hair.....where is the mirror to complete this task. no robes no slippers balcony not accessible as it has steps for a disabled person so after no tv and missing items it was decided we can change room to at least have a sofa to sit on the following evening and also has no extra steps leading to it. this room full filled our requests almost...after packing up and un packing again balcony still not accessible coffee machine still not there still struggling in and out of the building....unaware of the back door access. came with an abundance of noise from the pub/club below until 1am. if the doors were draft/noise free this may have helped keep noise out. i blind not working which spoilt our sea view. bath robes - didnt fit and felt not very soft at all

Lovely, comfortable and friendly hotel on the sea front and in the town centre. Hope to stay again.

Room was stylish and spacious with good shower, effective air-conditioning/heating and a safe for valuables. There was a sea view (over the seafront attractions!) and a large balcony. Bed comfortable, a great night's sleep. The dinner was great, the breakfast very good. The staff were friendly and looked after us well.

One chair had some stains. There was a used coffee mug in the safe (!), and the safe had to be have the attention of the handy-man to make it work, although that was very efficient. The time of one breakfast was delayed without us being made aware.

I did book a room with a breakfast but at 9 o’clock no one was there to serve breakfast I tried to ring the tel number and no one answer the phone and we went without breakfast and payed for it and no refund was given

Amazing

The room exceeded all expectations, all of the staff were super friendly helpful and just lovely. I've rebooked and can't wait to return. The massage was amazing the lady started here 2 days ago and it was honestly the best massage I've ever had. (Deep tissue)

Nice weekend break, but should have checked before hand and booked the Greek Night

Nice hotel and staff good location , will use again

Greek Night was on, first floor room so loud glasses rattled until 12ish. Next time would ask for higher room or book to go to Greek night, it did sound like they where having fun.

The staff are amazing the hotel itself is beautiful, as is the restaurant attached to the hotel however the cleanliness

beautiful modern reception area and restaurant staff were amazing very welcoming Nothing was too much

the room wasn’t as advertised and wasn’t clean, my 9 year old son slightly move a bedside cabinet to plug his charger in only to find a lighter there, red lipstick on the bed sheet and pillow. hairs in the shower, coffee stains on table, marks on the sink and radiator in bathroom

It was an ok room but many little things let the stay down this is the second time we have stayed here and it definitely

it was a great location

our tv did not work no volume. It was stated when booking free parking however we had to pay over £12 for parking. The sausages on the breakfast very cheap and mushy no quality of products. Strong smell of weed in corridors to room and no mirror in room only in the bathroom.

Nice room, paint still damp from recent work. Nice to eat in restaurant, and get 10% discount.

Above Wetherspoons, noisy until 2.30 am.

Noisy, uncomfortable and better to stay at the premier inn down the road

Nothing exceeded my expectations

Bed was not kingsize, no extra pillows, the room was not the same as the one depicted in the picture, shower didn’t work, had to call maintenance, no coffee machine, massive draft coming through the bathroom window.

The staff were fabulous

we spent £280 for the princess suite but didn’t realise it was just like a premier inn room. the hotel was absolutely lovely when you walked in but the room was small and we did have a few problems, ones I don’t wish to tell the world about maybe just the hotel

Unhappy

On the websites pictures include robes , sleeper and a proper welcome towels on style on top of the bed and include hairdryer and view but because the sea view was block by the arcades and bowling bowl . Cleaning is fine but the toilet flush got not enough water when you need to flush it .
