About this apartment rental

My apartment is a spacious and cozy place 63 square meters, perfectly located in the heart of the historic center of Athens, in the neighborhood of Thiseio, few meters away from Apostolou Pavlou pedestrian street. Acropolis Hill and Ancient Agora is only 10 minutes walking.
The location couldn’t be better.
The metro station is only 3 minutes away thats why it is an ideal getaway destination for someone who wants to explore the city of Athens.
The view from the shared rooftop (two floors up by narrow, typical, back stairs) is spectacular. Guests can enjoy the privacy of the whole apartment which I always make sure to be clean and neat.
Whenever is in our hand, we will be glad to offer an early check-in or late check-out.

Everything was perfect, the place itself has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, including a rooftop terrace with a magnificent view and the location is great for exploring Athens on foot. We loved the local restaurants, the bakery & supermarkets, all a few steps away. The host was lovely. Highly recommended 👌

This property was clean, well kept, and is in an excellent location. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks from the rooftop terrace with a great view of the Acropolis, which is a short 10 minute walk away. The host was amazing and communicated very well. 5/5 for sure!

Irene was fantastic and made the check in process very simple. She helped arrange transportation. The apartment was very clean and lots of amenities were included. The location was fantastic and the rooftop had an amazing view of the Acorpolis and Parthenon.

The apartment was very nice and met our needs. Two bedrooms to accommodate us, a kitchen and living room. Not super fancy, but definitely clean and very nice place to stay. Temperature was in the 90s the two days we were there and the AC worked perfectly. The rooftop of the apartment building has a prime view of the Acropolis, which we enjoyed at night when it was all lit up. Great place to relax, drink some wine, and be in awe of the view. We met guests from one of the other apartments up there one night and they recommended a rooftop restaurant across the street. The food was awesome and the view just as spectular as from our apartment. Just a few minutes walk to Ancient Agora. Maybe a 30-minute walk to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, and Olympic stadium, many nearby restaurants. Irene was very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage in the apartment building until it was ready as we had arrived early that morning from a cruise ship. Great communications with her. I highly recommend Irene's apartment!

The picture that is seen with the statement The ideal house at the foot of the Acropolis is a bit misleading. It leads one to believe that is the view one will see within the apartment. However, one has to climb quite a few steps to get to this view. It was still a wonderful stay and Irene was most helpful.

Place was awesome - right where you wanna be when you are in Athens. Acropolis and Plaka within walking distance, and many restaurants, shops and grocery stores/marts closeby. Irene was a pleasure to work with - helping arrange transportation both to and from the airport, and assisting with info about the surrounding area. Rooftop terrace is really nice and a great place to relax at the end of the day and have a cold beer or glass of wine while looking at the Acropolis all lit up - just be quiet when you go up the narrow fire escapes so you don't disturb the other tenants. This place was perfect to serve as a home base while exploring Athens, and we hope to be able to come back one day when we can spend even more time here.

Irene was an excellent host, and helped us arrange transportation to/from her location. Much appreciated. Location is extremely convenient to the Acropolis, and comfortably slept 4. View from roof is amazing, especially at night. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time and Irene is an amazing host. The location was perfect for exploring and as many said the rooftop deck view was outstanding. Irene was so kind as to connect us with Vasilis for our transport from the airport and then again to the port….he was also very kind and helpful! Irene, we thank you again for all you did for us!

This was a great property for our four nights in Athens. Our host Irene was wonderful from the beginning of the booking to the end of our stay. She answered all our questions and we had many. As in other reviews the view of the Acropolis from the top of the Irene's apartment is beautiful day or night!! The apartment was within walking distance of the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Monastiraki and Syntagma Squares, Parliament, Kerameikos Archaeological Site and many other areas to explore. Irene also arranged transportation from and to the airport which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay again at Irene's spotless apartment, if we were to return to Athens.

Irene’s apartment is in a perfect location. Steps away from the walkway around the Acropolis and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable and we enjoyed the roof top view. Irene met with us and shared helpful tips for our stay. We had a great time!

If there were a AAA++ rating, we would give it to Irene. Super host. Super clean apt. Super location (20 min walk to Acropolis and Hop on Hop off main bus stop) Restaurants galore only steps from the apt. Best dinner and view from the rooftop of the Sin Athenia restaurant, 20 m from the apt. Irene arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We used the same taxi driver the whole time we stayed in Athens and he even drove us to the airport for our trip home at 4 a.m.!!!! Well done Irene - THE BEST HOST ON ATHENS. Thank you very much. The location was so convenient to all the major sites. It was a great place to have our base at. The recommendations of places to eat were well received. The bakery just down the street was fantastic and we hit it up for cheap breakfasts and even some late savory treats later in the day.

Irene was a gracious host. Her instructions for entering the property were detailed and easy to understand. We also loved the reliability of the cab driver she suggested . We scheduled him three different times and knew that we could trust him to be on time and get us where we needed to be Her recommendation for chicken gyros was on point! Cool restaurants, and bars in the neighborhood as well. Close to the historic Acropolis. 🐣🇬🇷

This clean and comfortable apartment is literally at the foot of the Acropolis! The pedestrian walkway up to the Acropolis is at the end of the street, and there are great restaurants close by, including some with rooftop dining for an incredible view. The metro station is also very close, so this apartment was the perfect home base for our family to explore the city in our brief stay. The rooftop terrace is a bit of a climb, but it’s worth it—breathtaking! Irene is wonderful host, very easy to work with and extremely helpful. She even helped arrange for a trusted taxi driver to meet us at the airport. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to visit again!

My friend and I met up for a girls trip. The apartment was perfect with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room. So nice to visit and drink coffee on the couch before we headed out for the day. The apartment is steps away from restaurants, metro and a few minutes walk from Monastiraki square. Irene is available for questions and is very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

It's perfectly located to make exploring all the essential Athens sights easily doable by walking, but it's also close to public transport if you wish to explore further away. We didn't have time to fully appreciate the rooftop patio, but if we had more time there we would have.

Irene's Apartment is in the ideal location if you want to explore Athens by foot. It is a short walk to the Acropolis for which she has a roof top view which is just spectacular after dark. It is only a short stroll to Monistaraki, Gazi, and Plaka neighbourhoods where you will find excellent shopping as well as wonderful bars, restaurants and cafes. Irene met us personally at check-in and gave us a helpful overview of the apartment but also made many helpful suggestions of restaurants, grocery and other amenities nearby. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience Athens and the hospitality of the Greek people!

Eirini is a wonderful hostess who connected us with a taxi to and from port/airport. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and convenient to services like hair/nail salons barber.. Although there is a market just a block or so away don’t waste money on food to prepare as there are so many fabulous affordable restaurants nearby! We were able to walk to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Monastiraki and back to Thissio all around the Ancient Angora on wide pedestrian walkways with vendors shops parks and woods. It is a lovely safe place to walk! Be sure to eat dinner at one of the many restaurants that have a view of the lite up Acropolis-fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at Irenes apartment. CLEAN and the perfect location. Minutes from food, bakeries, coffee and the Acropolis. BEAUTIFUL view of the Acropolis from the rooftop, the view doesn’t disappoint. Irene was friendly and helpful with where to go and what to do. Irene even had breakfast items for the next day. We are glad we found this apartment.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in Irene's beautiful apartment! The location was perfect for easily walking and seeing all the sights. Her recommendations for close by dining were fabulous. We really enjoyed playing cards and watching sunset on the rooftop. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment and location were excellent! You are close to major sites, coffee, restaurants, grocery store, bakery, and pharmacy. It is also in a quiet neighborhood. Eirini is a great host. The apartment was very clean and she provided information on almost every question you might have about the apartment and the area. And she was always available to answer any other questions. It was an absolute delight to stay here, the authentic nature of the apartment, its location, and Irene herself fostered a wonderful experience staying in Athens. She was not only easy to communicate with, but did so with full detail and instructions on everything needed to make the stay most pleasurable. The apartment felt like being an actual resident in the city, and the location was perfect for all nearby attractions. The rooftop view itself of the Acropolis is a strong selling point, and the attention of the host makes the experience top notch.
