The house was spacious and comfortable for our large group (13 people). The basketball court in the barn was a lot of fun.

We had 13 people from 3 families in the area for a 3 day weekend and had a great stay. Plenty of space for everyone, and the property was well equipped. It is a beautiful home and unique property in a wonderful location.
We were there during a heat wave, and it was a bit hot during the day but cooled down at night (and they house has plenty of fans).

We loved it. Close proximity to Butternut and Catamount

This property was a dream for a multi-family trip with young kids (aged 3-7). Between the basketball court, the goats, and the fun loft spaces for slumber parties, everyone had a great time. Conveniently located near Butternut and Catamount, as well. Will definitely be back!

My college group of friends get together every New Year's, and we feel fortunate to have found the Berkshire Farm House. The many bed spots and multiple rooms to enjoy board games and conversation were perfect for us. The owners include a lot of amenities for guest such as sonos speakers, a record player with plenty of records, and all the kitchen appliances/tools you'll ever need. The cherry on top was the barn with a full basketball court! The little ones had a blast kicking balls around and playing with the pickleball paddles. Rest assured that if you have any issue, the owners are excellent at communicating. Be prepared that the house is pretty old and there are some nuances to things like doors, heat, and windows, but they told us ahead of time so we did just fine. If you're looking for a place to stay warm by a fire in the winter or roam a large property to the sounds of a creek in the summer, then this home will be perfect for you!

What a beautiful setting -- and such a warm, welcoming place for all 15 of us to gather! Great kitchen, plenty of room for all of us to eat together, wonderful spaces to tackle 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles, watch a few baseball games on TV, go through family albums, and ... play pickleball in the barn every morning. And then, when we got motivated, go out and explore Tanglewood, Mt. Greylock, Norman Rockwell Museum, Clark Museum, Bish/Bash Falls ... just a fantastic location & experience!

My family of 13 descended on The Farm for a long weekend over Labor Day, and absolutely LOVED this house. It is large enough that we all had separate corners to retreat to, if needed, yet homey so that we all enjoyed various family activities. Our younger generation (yes, the younger generation!) loved the pickle ball court set up in the barn, we all waded in the creek and our dog loved exploring the property with me. The property is gorgeous. We ate our meals outside, sat around the fire pit a couple of nights, and some of us enjoyed the hammocks! The house is older, so some of the windows don’t have screens which was too bad, but we were able to open up enough windows or doors with screens so that we had a nice breeze during those very very hot days (who would have thunk it would be 90 degrees over Labor Day!). The hosts are totally available for any needed communication, and the caretaker was available as well if needed….absolutely NO issues there. If there are one or two suggestions we might have: hooks in the bathrooms or rooms to hang up wet towels (we were a lot of people!) and maybe have some hand towels available. But we know that the owners are still working on so many projects, and those 2 things did not dampen our spirits. Book this place….you won’t be disappointed.

We were a family of 6 adults with an 11 year old.
The house is very large and comfortable. There is a lot of space to relax and read our work on a puzzle or project.
The grounds are lovely with a nice path cut through the wildflower field.
The owners are very responsive and wonderful to work with.
Would highly recommend this house.

We had a beautiful weekend with old friends and family. Lots of space for hanging out both inside and out. The river was a wonderful source of fun and cooking off, bring tubes! Nick was fantastic regarding communication and trip planning. Looking forward to next time!

Perfect DIY wedding location
Beautiful grounds including a quaint pond and creek. Great space for housing a lot of guests, hanging out inside or out at the fire pit. Clean, beautiful, and super well organized. Close to Great Barrington for food and fun. All the spaces for a lovely intimate wedding - out on the lawn and inside the barn, including the ability to do the cooking on site. We rented chairs, a sound system, porta-potties, table settings, and transportation to the site. Friends and family stayed with us at the house before and after for a really magical week. Nick and Nico were so easy and kind to communicate with, and were helpful through every step of the process. My wife and I can't wait to return!

Gorgeous property
Our group of several families has stayed at this property 3 other times over the past decade. The new owners are giving the house and surroundings some much needed TLC—new roof, furniture, appliances, back patio, gardens, event space, etc. There is still work to be done, but clearly they aren’t cutting corners. The owner Nick was helpful, prompt, and reasonable to work with. We contacted the caretaker about a minor repair issue and he arrived within 2 hours on a holiday weekend. Great house for a multi family reunions. Kitchen is very well stocked. The yard spaces are excellent for outdoor games. And the gym is a great backup plan for bad weather. We hope to return next year.

I wish we could have stayed longer!
We chose this home because of its location for a family wedding. I come from a large family and we all rented homes in the area. I loved this home because of the farm feel, the number of bedrooms/bathrooms and the living space. Even though we knew we would not be home very much, having multiple sitting/living areas was great so we could all spread out. Also, being a dog friendly property was a huge plus! My dogs loved being able to run around and jump into the stream - the recent storm did make the river a bit high and running quite heavy.
We hosted a Friday night pizza party outside and had a great game of basketball after! This house is perfect for a large group/multiple families. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for everyone.
The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, not that we did much cooking, but if we needed anything, it was there!
Another very important feature for my family was to have at least one bedroom and one full bath on the first floor. My 99 yo mom was able to easily navigate the first floor and I stayed in the other bedroom on the first floor so that I could keep an eye on things.
I loved the layout - the lazy people loved the loft bedrooms so that they could sleep late and not hear any of the activities in the kitchen in the morning :)

Family getaway in Berkshires
Huge rustic country home, right by stream and river was perfect place for our family reunion. The barn turned gym was great for the rainy days, with basketballs and dodgeballs aplenty. There was comfortable space for all 14 of us and the full stocked kitchen made meals a breeze. Fans were supplied in each room for the hot days. Nick and Nico were super helpful and accommodating during our entire stay.

Home away from home Ski House
Great home, location and activities! We are three large families and avid skiers who made this location our home away from home during the ski season. Beautiful grounds, quick drive to the lifts, and every convenience you could hope. From celebrating the holidays to taking long hikes, we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable time. The owners are gracious, accommodating, and extremely responsive. Highly recommend this property.

Great property for large group!
Our group very much enjoyed our weekend stay! We had a large group (5 families) and this property had plenty of room for all of us. The kids especially enjoyed the basketball court in the barn and the adults enjoyed the large living room, dining room, and well-stocked kitchen. The owners were very responsive and helpful with a few questions both before our arrival and while we were there. It's very close (15-20min drive) to both Catamount and Butternut, so a great location for a group of friends to enjoy a ski weekend. Thanks very much for your hospitality!

Great house for a big group
The house is very comfortable while still being quite nice. The setting is gorgeous - the babbling brook and the woods are very tranquil. We had enough bedrooms for a large group and our dogs loved it :) The kitchen was also incredibly well stocked with everything from tin foil to spices to carrot peelers. The owner was very responsive and easy to deal. We'll be back!

Great place for large families or gatherings
This is our second stay at this farmhouse and we still love it!! Everything from booking the reservation to paying and checking in and out was easy. The location is private and scenic. We rent houses all the time and it is hard to find enough sleeping space so everyone has a real bed, not a pull out couch or futon. There are atleast14 beds, a good mixture of single and larger. Two bedrooms have lofts with beds and lower level beds. The sonos speaker system with the phone app is a nice addition since our last stay. We had fun playing name that tune with it. But, beware if you have a son who is a prankster.Being woken up at 3:30am to the the "Michael Meyers" stalking tune from the movie Halloween playing throughout that big house is a bit frightening, lol. The gym above the garage is great for a family kickball, dodge ball or basketball game. And there are plenty of flat areas for outdoor yard games. The drive to town is quick and easy. There are plenty of restaurants, a Price Chopper,CVS pharmacy and shops. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

A perfect place for a group gathering
This is my second time staying in this property, and it's my favorite spot for a large group gathering! The new owners have also done great work sprucing up some items. Tons of room for people to sleep and hang out, and super peaceful location. Plenty of lawn space for games and hanging out, and the barn is great for basketball, dodgeball, etc. No complaints whatsoever - we will be back for sure!

Reunion Week
We had a great experience at Sprig Farm. There was plenty of outdoor space for our group to enjoy, and the barn/gym came in handy during our rainy day. The house is conveniently located to many attractions, including shopping in Great Barrington. Nick was incredibly helpful the entire time, and VERY responsive to any issues or questions we had.
Some general comments about the house:
-The kitchen was one of the best we have had, with plenty of space for serious cooking. It was well equipped for all our needs.
-The grill is charcoal (not gas), so make sure you bring supplies.
-The WiFi and Sonos systems are great!
-Lots of games, which kept our younger crowd quite entertained.
Thank you for helping us have a wonderful reunion week!

Huge property gave us interesting and fun experiences.
First, Nick is super responsive to our inquiries. He informed us of ongoing project at the property before they charge the rest of the fee, and send the images that we requested quickly. Very reliable.
In terms of the property, there are lots of spaces, beds, and bathrooms. The master bedroom is wonderful. The gym is a big plus.
We enjoyed the place a lot.

Awesome family getaway!
We held a small family reunion here and had fantastic time! The basketball in the barn, clean cold lazy river, whiffle ball field and isolation allowing for rambunctious competition without upsetting the neighbors! The house is spacious with lots of room for multiple indoor games nicely provided by the hosts. We look forward to coming back!!

Exquisite Property in the Berkshires
I rented this property for a group of folks who were taking a training in the area. We wanted as place to be able to stay, together for our last weekend of the training. As with any group there were a lot of opinions going into committing to the rental, but once people started arriving, we were all amazed at the beauty of the property, the functionality of the house, and how well equipped this place is to host a large group of people.
The house itself is warm and welcoming, with space for everyone in the group. Though the living room is comfortable, we spent most of the time in the kitchen. There was an Island near the stove (6 burners 2ovens) where several people could work at the same time, a table with benches, and a comfy couch. The rooms were super comfortable and we had the feeling of living in luxury without pretension.
The big bonus was the property itself. You had the feeling of living on a farm, far form civilization, with beautiful plants and flowers. We spent quite a bit of time outside, relaxing and talking.
I can not recommend this rental enough. It is a unique property perfect for a retreat, reunion, or even a small group training session. Our group is already planning to return for a reunion in the fall.

Absolutely beautiful Berkshires gem, perfect for large gatherings
We gathered as a three-generational family of 14 to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday, and the house and property made a special occasion into a spectacular one. The house is lovely, and with the seven bedrooms (including the connecting lofts that the kids loved), we had more bed space then we needed. The kitchen is lovely and the dining room and living room were comfortable. The barn with gym was a huge hit for all, but it's the property that elevates this home to a different level. The babbling creek, barn swallows flying about, greenery everywhere...as charming as the house was inside, we couldn't get enough of the outside. Nick, Rachel et al were responsive hosts in the leadup to our stay. Would love to find a reason to return.

Perfect Weekend Retreat
This home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and surrounded by natural beauty. Whatever mood you are in, you will find something to suit it. The hosts are easy to communicate with and provide a clean and cozy atmosphere. It feels completely remote despite being a quick drive from Great Barrington. We had a memorable weekend and lacked for nothing.

Perfect Birthday Weekend!
My husband and I rented the house to host some friends for a birthday celebration. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! The house was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. The property itself was lovely too, many of our friends enjoyed exploring it! The house was super clean and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the gym too! We are already talking about going back soon for another friend’s birthday! The owners were flexible and so easy to work with. We can’t wait to go back!
