Location was great, about a 10-15 min walk to town. Good parking downstairs.
The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is disgusting, very stained and delaminating. The downstairs toilet takes 20mins to refill the cistern. 2 of the sliding doors downstairs need the rollers replaced and can only be opened with great effort.
The couches and floors were grubby as was the verandah. The owner needs to spend a few bucks to make it presentable

easy to get the keys and to drop them off. Great little info pack came with the keys too. Great location - very short walk to the beach and walkable into town. Car park underneath was great.
No heating downstairs in the living area bar a little bar heater and the evenings were a little bit chilly. We ended up putting the heat pump/air con upstairs and turning the fan on to push the warm air downstairs. Definitely helped a bit. Little bit worn but really clean and comfortable.

air-condition didn't work - even after real estate sent out a technician when we arrived. Air Con kept tripping and going off - we had to manually keep re-setting trip-switch.
shower head in bottom bathroom was leaking everwhere
BBQ was very ordinary and ran out of gas

The location is good, in a quiet street a short 10 minute walk to Byron.
Close to the beach.
Nice sized balcony.
Service from head office staff is very thorough, friendly and professional.
The decor and furniture is really dated and needs upgrading.
The oven settings have been cleaned off the front so you have no idea what setting it’s on, making it hard to cook.
A lot of the kitchen drawers and cupboards look and feel scruffy, they don’t close properly and are starting to chip off.
No basic supplies were there like dishwasher tablets etc.
The upstairs rooms aren’t actually walled off, it’s just a wooden shutter. We had 2 couples staying there meaning no privacy so one couple ended up staying in the child sized room in a smaller bed.
Sofas feel old and slightly damp and in need of a refresh.
No blinds in the bedroom with en suite.
It is genuinely cost effective and I don’t think you’ll find a place as big for the same price. But it just needs some money spending on it and modernising. It could be such a beautiful property but it’s all just rough around the edges and dated.
This might sound like little small details to some people but when you want a nice place to relax in on holiday, that you enjoy cooking in and sitting back, this wasn’t the property for us.

The location was brilliant. Being able to walk to the beach was wonderful. The size of the apartment was good.
Lack of privacy in the upstairs bedrooms due to it being a loft with no complete walls around the bedrooms. Lack of toilet paper provided. There are 2 toilets in the apartment, and both only had a skerrick of toilet paper provided. There was no dishcloth provided to go with the little bit of dish detergent provided. The apartment needs to be sprayed for bugs, but at least there was some bug spray there to kill about 4 cockroaches that we saw. The oven worked but there were no markings for temperature or function, and nothing to say what brand it is so that we could even look up an online manual for it. So guesswork meant that we burnt our food. Luckily not too badly though.
My children were looking forward to swimming in the pool each day and didn't go in it once, as it had lots of leaves on the bottom of it, and what seemed like mosquito larvae on the top of the water, and the filter didn't seem to be working.
The barbeque was grubby when we arrived, so we didn't bother trying to use it.
The dining table and coffee table both could do with refinishing. They are lovely pieces of furniture, and would be beautiful again if they could be refinished.
A little Exit Mould in the showers regularly would do wonders. Also in the drain in the bathroom sinks.

Absolutely loved the location it was so handy and central. The beach was down the road and to get into town was a lovely 1km walk. We also loved local restaurants and bars to us plus the shopping in the industrial area. It was the ideal location, and everything was easily achievable on foot.
The cleanliness could have been a little better, there was mould stains and mould on the doors and there was cockroach poo inside the drawers in the main bedroom. The furniture needed a little bit of attention which could be done easily and cheaply done. The mat needs to be tossed.

Location, undercover parking & pool we're great.
Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher very useful.
While outdated and no wifi available it's a great loft unit.
Standard of cleanliness was poor, mould in the bathroom, bbq and oven were dirty, oven had missing labels so unable to use effectively, rangehood was dirty, lightbulb needed replacing in main bedroom.
Hard mattess on loft bed.
Very minimal pantry staples, no 2nd toilet paper rolls in bathrooms.

the property was well located- walking distance to town. One minute to the beach.
it was old and rundown. Could do with a huge freshen up. It was dusty. Two bedrooms upstairs we’re not soundproof, there was a little rat residing on the property and all he did during the night with scurry around.

The property interior is dated but location & facilities are great & the place was very clean. For position & size of property it is great value for money. Would definitely book it again.

We have stayed numerous times in this apartment. We love the space, double balcony, location and the familiarity. It feels like coming home.
Relatively clean.
Comfortable
Over the 15 yrs we continually gravitate to this place for the above reasons. It has increased quite significantly in price which we were happy to pay but feel it is in need of some sprucing up to go along with the price rise.
The carpets are in need of a really good clean, cupboards and kitchen ware need streamlining and tossing out. While quirky the plates cups glassware etc are so outdated and some remain from 15 yrs ago. Laundry cupboard still has same bits and pieces from our first stay many yrs ago
Furniture is sticky and hard to keep clean Esp large dining table.
Broken glass left on microwave.
Numerous windows in need of screens.
Time to toss out the large pile of VHS tapes ( no way to watch them.)
A new vacuum cleaner would be good as we spent quite some time cleaning it out so we could use it.

Love that the place was close to the beach! Close enough to town & a good walk to the industrial area too.
This is an older apartment so wasn't expecting 5 star however the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen draws was noticeable. Also the lack of basic condiments etc was poor.
Not sure if the people downstairs own unit 1 however the first night was terrible with them partying all night. Wasn't impressed about that!
Apart from that, it was a comfortable stay for our time in Byron

Everything went smoothly, great Location, one of the kitchen appliances had the wrong plug. Toaster needs replacing. Overall our stay was pleasant.
Furniture could do with a sand and re stain. Window broken up stairs so we couldn’t use the fire pit. Part of the Blinds didn’t work. Futon too hard. Beds could be a little softer.

It was a great location, enjoyed having the walk to town and not being so close to the busy areas. Perfect for a girls weekend. Nice and open apartment to make it feel much larger than it is.
The kitchen was a little bit outdated and utensils were a bit chipped/dented, hard to cook own meals. The double bed was rock hard and not very comfortable and there were a few broken chairs. Photos on the ad didn’t look like the apartment but there wasn’t much to complain about! Still great value for money.
