What to do?
If you manage to drag yourself away from the peace and quiet of Peppy Beach then you can stay close to home with walks in the forest or a visit to the local wineries (incl. Capel Vale 5mins). It's a 20min drive to Busselton through picturesque Ludlow and Tuart Drive, or Bunbury just up the highway. Both offer a variety of shops restaurants and cinemas. Busselton has one of the last drive-in cinemas.
Not too far away are the well known and diverse attractions of Dunsborough, Margaret River and the Southwest. Just Google any of these and you'll find something for everyone. Information booklet at the house with local food outlets and tourist information.
A short drive takes you to Capel where you will find an IGA, bottleshop, pub (TAB), takeaway food, cafes, GP's, newspapers, bait and tackle etc. Newly reopened caravan park has a small shop, bottle shop and make some lovely pizzas!
There are several beach launching spots and a marina boat ramp 15mins away (Port Geographe). A large stainless steel double sink is provided outside to clean your catch of fish etc.
Serenity Now relies on bottled LPG for gas to the house.
If no hot water, first double check that the gas cooktop is also not lighting, if not working then go to Gas Bottles:
- Gas bottles are located RHS of house (side next to vacant block).
- Turn the hand wheel on top of the empty gas bottle OFF (clockwise).
- You then move the changeover valve lever (our one is copper) to point towards the other (full) gas bottle.
- Turn the hand wheel on top of the full gas bottle ON (anti-clockwise).
- Please let us know when you swap bottles so we can order a replacement.

A nice enough place in great location, very close to a wonderful beach. For our group of 9 the living areas were a little snug, bedrooms were fine and comfortable. Back garden was secure and good for the children. Minimal pantry supplies mean that you should bring all the essentials if you intend to cook. Otherwise kitchen was adequately equipped. Lots of parking for a group of people. Spa bath with shower was very deep and probably not suitable for older people, as getting out was a little tricky and the bottom of the bath was not flat.

We stayed at this property for the weekend with my husband and two children. The house was in a lovely quiet location, minutes to the beach. The owner Michelle was very helpful and quick with helping out. The property is tricky with a 15 month old because of the stairs but this was listed on the website so I knew this going forward. The only thing we struggled with was the shower in the spa. This was the only shower and having to get in over big steps with a baby and a 5 year old is difficult. Even showering as an adult it’s tricky. Perhaps another normal shower would make things much easier, especially for elderly.
But the house was tidy had good facilities and I would recommend.

A beautiful place to stay
The accomodation was so lovely, and the photos do not do it credit. It was so lovely to spend a winter’s weekend there with a fire and a spa to keep us warm. The house had everything you could want in a holiday home and more. Definitely would visit again.

Quiet beach holiday
Stayed at this house for one week with my partner and two small kids.Great proximity to the beach, about a 5 minute walk. The beach was quiet despite being school holidays. The house has two bedrooms downstairs (which included the bunk beds) as well as the indoor bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs. I liked that there wasn't any decor that small children get their hands on and break. It was mostly comfortable despite the hot weather. Host promptly responded to maintenance issue.

Wonderful stay in a fabulous, family friendly location.
My friend and I took our children for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was sparkling clean and very well set up for two families. The garden was perfect for children, with a swing and climbing platform.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxed, family friendly get away.

Xmas holiday
Unfortunately the Easterley winds and the flies were horrendous, and the temperature was high thirties for the week that we stayed. The backyard lacked shade and outdoor seating and protection from the winds and flies,so was a bit unpleasant a lot of the time, but otherwise a great , comfortable house with lovely beaches fairly close by. Lots of parking and roomy yard. Very friendly caravan park owners close by too, who allowed us to use their tennis courts and mini golf. We picked a bad weather week but would recommend this house.

A little oasis
Great location away from hussle of city but just a short trip from Perth. Close to Margaret river without all the traffic. 5 min walk to beach and you almost have whole beach to yourself. A little trip to a shop or takeaway. Property has everthing you need if you bring your own food.

Amazing getaway!! 😍
Had a beautiful time down at this peppermint grove beach house! I couldn’t fault anything with the house! We even made delicious home made pizzas in the wood fire pizza oven out the back! Had everything we needed and was just a stone throw away from the beach! We definitely will be going back again!

Great family house right by a stunning beach
We stayed at Serenity Now for New Years. We were 2 families with 4 kids under 4. There was plenty of room for us all and the kids loved playing in the back garden. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, we used the BBQ but not the pizza oven. There is only 1 bathroom in the house on the ground floor (the other bathroom is outside). Michelle was great - extremely responsive. Great location, 5 minute walk to a stunning beach. Cheeky Monkey brewery and Aravina Estate are a must!

Loved the house and the location
Absolutely loved it here, the location is amazing so close to beach! Loved not having to bring bath towels and linen to an already bursting car and the owner has been so helpful and accommodating! Thanks for having us we loved it :-)

Comfortable and child friendly
Absolutely loved our stay, more than enough space for 5 adults and three kids. Comfortable, clean, a small playground and swing out the back for the kids, owners were easy to deal with! Would recommend to others looking for a quiet coastal get away!

Serenity Now is the perfect beach house for families. The enclosed yard, grassed and paved outdoor areas, upstairs and downstairs living areas provided lots of options for us all. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great property for a beachside family holiday!
We stayed at the property over Christmas with 6 adults and 2 kids plus a well behaved dog. The house was great, clean and had everything you needed. Having 2 living areas/TV's (one upstairs and one downstairs) was great having so many people staying in one house. The backyard is fantastic. The kids loved it as did the adults and the dog. It was great for backyard cricket. The pizza oven is great too. We enjoyed making pizzas during our stay. The house has a nice large bathroom downstairs with a big spa bath however the second bathroom is outdoors in a very small room. The outside bathroom was great after returning from the beach however I much preferred the bathroom inside. Overall this house was fantastic, great location close to the beach, had everything we needed to enjoy a lovely week away for Christmas with the family.

A Comfortable Beach Holiday
We were 6 adults, 4 children and 4 well behaved dogs. We had fun making our own pizzas, swimming and playing at the gorgeous calm beach just a short walk away. Accommodation was clean, as described, a bit of a juggle to suit 3 families, but nothing that affected our enjoyment. Lunch at Capel Vale Winery is a must! And the playground at Donnybrook got top marks from the kids.

Winter weekend break
We had a wonderful winter weekend break at this property. Made good use of both the pizza oven and fireplace.

Good location
Property was comfortable, although the extra toilet and shower is actually outside. Fireplace was very cosy. Nice and quite little suburb, no shops and hustle and bustle - but very good IGA in Capel.

Excellent place near a beautiful beach
Warm and cozy for an autumn weekend away. Loved the soft fleecy blankets, electric blankets and woodstove. Michelle is very good to deal with - responded quickly to inquiries and provided all the information we needed to get there and enjoy our stay. Plan to go back again in the warmer weather to take more advantage of the beach.

Wonderful week spent in a perfect location - easy walk to beach and great to be able to have the family dog with us. Two living areas meant kids could do their own thing, loved the balcony and the pizza oven was a definite hit!

The little extras make this property feel like home. We were very happy with the fire place in the house that made the house warm, being so cold outside. The area is ideally located and only a short car trip to most children attractions. The pizza oven will definitely be used next time.
