Short walk to Gondola and restaurants.

Can’t beat location. Place was well decorated and fairly well updated compared to other places in village

Overall, our family of 6 enjoyed this property for everything it had to offer. The two floor 4 bedroom plan works really well, and the location in the village for the rate we paid was ideal.
Keep in mind the lack of accessibility on this property as it is three floors up and no elevator, which did impact our family a bit.
Also, as other reviews have noted, the unit is very dated with some fixtures having trouble working well. Notably, the bed mattresses should be replaced as soon as possible and be of higher quality given the rental rate of this unit. Also, the bathrooms were very small, but can get used to with some patience. The main floor TV should also be bigger.
We noticed a number of insects, alive and dead, in the unit, and we were surprised about some lack of cleanliness when we arrived (mostly vacuuming), but this is not likely a consistent problem with this unit and we were probably just a bit unlucky.
On the positive side, we were able to use the kitchen perfectly well and were never left wanting for additional kitchen supplies.
The location is what makes this rental very ideal given the nightly rate. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the 5 minute walk to Gondola One so that we could just start our day on the slopes without dealing with any other transport issues.
We would easily stay here again without hesitation, as we would know going into it what the unit has and doesn't have, as long as the rental rate is unchanged.

Old Vail Village property, great location.

Great location but the condo needs some work. Stains on the furniture. Chip paints in the bathroom. downstair bedroom door is broken whiched resulted in someone getting locked into their room.

We are skiers and #1 for us was a ski in/ski out. Perfect. We also had adult children visiting. The layout was great. Loved that all had their own rooms and bathrooms. As noted in previous reviews the condo is "dated" and there are quirks (like loose plumbing fixtures etc...) that may bother some folks but were workable for us. Vail Realty was immediately responsive (even late on a Friday afternoon...sorry!) on the minor issues that we did call them on (thank you!) Temps went to '0' while we were there and the thermostat could not keep up. We were grateful for the space heater provided. Due to large and lesser-insulated windows, it's cold in the winter and I expect it will be hot in the summer. There are fans provided. Mobility is required for the 3rd floor walk up. All in all, it worked great for what we wanted and the Vail
Village location can not be beat. Thank you!

Perfect summer getaway!
This was our first family trip to Vail. The location of the condo was perfect. We walked everywhere and felt very comfortable letting our kids explore the village on their own. It was so easy to work with the property manager. Highly recommend this condo and Vail!

Great Condo in Village
Location could not be beat. Right in the Village. Had everything for us to enjoy! We will be back.

We were two families with a total of five kids and the 4 bedroom condo worked out perfectly. Communicating with property management was very easy. We got to Vail earlier than check in but we’re able to keep our bags in the property management office as we toured the town and got our skis. The location could not have been more convenient. We were one block from Bridge Street/heart of Vail and 2 blocks from Golden Peak. This was super convenient as we put the kids in ski school there. Condo was very spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. I would highly recommend and will be back again.

Great location
Great experience. Great location. Easy access to Vail Village. Great view of the mountain. While there are coin operated community washers and dryers on lower level of condos, this unit had its own washer and dryer within the condo.

We booked this condo for a last minute long-weekend trip with friends and it worked great for our party of 7 (four adults, three kids ages 3, 2 & 1). The condo is a bit dated, but there was plenty of space for our group; the kitchen was well-stocked; and linens, towels and toilet paper/tissue, etc. were provided. It is in the perfect location in mid-Vail....just steps to the village and a couple blocks from Golden Peak and Ford Park. We loved our weekend getaway.
For folks traveling with kiddos or bigger groups, just a couple things to consider before booking:
- Parking is limited to one uncovered space; other vehicles are required to park in the main Vail Village parking structure and pay the overnight fees. (This is typical for most condos in the Village.)
- As with most mountain homes in the middle of summer, the condo was quite warm when we arrived and especially heats up during the day. There is only one portable fan in the condo, which we had to pass around from room-to-room for sleeping.
- There are plenty of windows to open to help cool things off, but there are no screens on any window which is a bit nerve-wracking to keep open with several small kids walking around. Even the balcony and stairs have slats large-enough for a child to fall through. We just barricaded the doors and windows that were open with other furniture for safety. It worked out fine; just need to be vigilant.
- It's a third-floor walk up, so carrying any luggage, strollers, kids, etc. gave a nice altitude workout! ;)
