You'll fall in love with this beautiful old farmhouse when you book it for your holiday in the Alps.
Spacious rooms, a fabulous entrance hall and incredible views, are just some of the features that make it special.
Geared for comfort and cosiness, the open plan living area on the upper floor has a cheerful open fire and there are plush furnishings and homely touches throughout. It also has WiFi, TV, DVD, table tennis, and lots more home-from-home features. The large kitchen has everything you need to cook for a crowd. There are also two bedrooms - a twin and a double, which opens on to a terrace - as well as a bathroom on this floor.
There are two more bedrooms, again a twin and a double room, on the lower floor, with another large bathroom and a separate toilet.
Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.
Please note there are 25 steps from the parking area to the first chalet entrance. In case of concerns due to cars and heavy snow fall, the chalet has easy access to the main road via a large tarmac driveway. The ceiling height in the communal areas is quite low by modern standards.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

A lovely chalet in a stunning location with plenty of space for the whole family

This chalet "clinging to the mountains" is absolutely magnificent and comfortable. From the living room to the bedrooms, we were immersed in a real cocoon of softness. We were lucky enough to be flirting with the snow at the beginning of November and the view of the mountains was splendid. Thanks to Steve for the warm welcome and to the hosts for this beautiful place.

We stayed for a week in this great accommodation. It is beautifully located and you have a wonderful view of the mountains from the terraces. We had our racing bikes with us and the chalet is a great starting point. It is also very quiet and there are few neighbours to disturb. The house is a beautifully renovated old farmhouse. However, it should be said that there are quite a few spiders in the house (some of them a bit bigger), so if you are afraid of spiders, it will be exciting in the house:) The communication with the house manager was very easy and uncomplicated, he was also always very easy to reach! We can definitely recommend the house!

Beaucoup de cachet et rénovation réussie
On s’y sent bien, la ferme dispose de tout le nécessaire. Nous avons apprécié le ski à Croix Fry et La Clusaz, les balades sur le plateau de Beauregard ou aux Confins, et une virée sur Annecy.

Tout est bien pensé, du retour du ski à la cuisine ! Situé à deux pas de la navette pour aller au ski à Manigod.

Notre séjour a été parfait
Le chalet est très beau et vous avez fait un travail incroyable de rénovation de cette vieille grange (nous avons vu les photos!). Sa situation est splendide et calme, avec beaucoup d'espace extérieur pour se relaxer et laisser jouer les enfants. C'est un chalet de caractère, bien différent du nouveau style "design" très couru. En hiver, avec la neige, ce doit être encore plus fascinant.

C'est un chalet dans lequel on se sent bien. La station est à seulement 10 min en voiture, facile d'accès et familiale. La Clusaz est une petite station de ski très jolie et pas bétonnée du tout.

Félicitations pour la belle réalisation de transformation d'une vieille grange en un chalet chaleureux et au charme d'antan! Il fallait du courage pour se lancer dans cette aventure et vous avez su créer un endroit où il fait bon vivre, avec pleins d'endroits pour se poser. L'été doit être aussi bien agréable avec les terrasses aux divers endroits du chalet. La Clusaz, la Croix Fry et le bon restaurant des Chalets de Marie-Ange nous ont particulièrement séduits... Encore Bravo !!!

Formidable, un endroit merveilleux avec une âme, très bien agencé avec un très grand confort. Nous étions 10 personnes (6 adultes et 4 enfants) et nous avions tout l'espace nécessaire... La literie est très bonne et la maison très bien équipée, il ne manquait rien. Une seule envie: y retourner le plus rapidement possible! En 10 minutes en voiture vous êtes à la Croix Fry pour prendre les premières remontées. Monsieur et Mme Speed ont beaucoup de chance de posséder un si bel endroit...

My son and I spent a fabulous 2 months in La Vieille Ferme with friends and family visiting throughout. It is in a fantastic location, being only 1 hour from Geneva, and so close to the wonderful ski area of La Clusaz. It is in a fantastic location, perfect for skiing and walking. It is large and comfortable and we particularly liked the outdoor patios especially during March when the weather was so fantastic. We also enjoyed the walking in the area, the guided walks being especially well run and varied. The chalet itself is extremely comfortable and any niggles I had were completely cosmetic. The fact that it is on the ski bus road was an added bonus, as was the short walk down to the local boulangerie for fresh croissants every morning.

Le jardin est clôturé, ce qui nous a permis de laisser jouer nos tout petits dans la neige en toute sécurité, les escaliers sont larges, le chalet est vraiment spacieux. 2 salons pour échanger entre adultes ou jouer entre enfants. A recommander pour 2 familles.

Nous ne connaissions pas cette vallée malgré de nombreuses années d'expérience dans les Alpes. Nous avons bien fait de changer nos habitudes: Manigod est un bijou et La Vieille Ferme est un point de rayonnement idéal dans la région. L'atmosphère au village est détendue et accueillante, loin de l'accueil froid et impersonnel des grandes stations. Les pistes sont à quelques minutes de trajet, et revenir au chalet en fin de journée est un pur plaisir. Le confort, la chaleur du feu de bois, une grande terrasse pour profiter des derniers rayons du soleil... A réserver absolument.

Nous venons de passer un moment très agréable en famille dans un chalet qui a une âme, on se sent dès la première soirée comme chez soi. Tout est prévu pour le confort de chacun, petits comme grands. Nous avons apprécié la manière dont les lieux sont adaptés aux enfants, et l'agencement convivial pour tous. Sans parler des belles balades dans le village et la tranquillité des lieux. Merci aux managers très disponibles et de bon conseil pour découvrir le coin pittoresque.

Situé à proximité de très belles vallées, les Confins ou la Clarette, c'est le départ idéal de très belles balades. Le lac d'Annecy conserve une ambiance de Côte d'Azur des années 20 et nous avons découvert le très beau massif du Semnoz. Excellent accueil de Madame Fournier, la manager. Agréable séjour.
