Chalet Manoe is set in a beautifully tranquil location in Comburce, near Manigod, with incredible views over the Aravis valley. You'll definitely need a car to get around when you stay here, but you'll be rewarded with fabulous sunsets, dark skies for stargazing and total privacy.
It's just 4km to the pretty village of Manigod, but why would you want to leave the chalet when you've got a sunny, south-facing terrace, a sauna, hot tub and in summer (May to September), an outdoor swimming pool and sundeck?
If you're visiting in winter, you'll be just a short drive from the pistes at Croix Fry. In summer, the surrounding mountains are criss-crossed with walking and cycling trails.
The chalet has a ski room, laundry room, a bathroom and the bunk room on the lower ground floor. You'll find a shower room and three double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, on the next floor up. Above that is the bright and airy living area with a fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy seating area with a large sofa and chairs around a log fire, and a stylish fully-equipped kitchen.
Doors lead out on to the sunny balcony where you can enjoy an apero as you drink in the fabulous views. The spacious terrace is at the side of the chalet - it's a great place for a barbecue on a summer evening. Lazy days can be spent in the hot tub, the bubble sauna, or in the pool - wherever you choose, you'll be surrounded by stunning panoramas.
There are steps up from the large parking area to the upper floors of the chalet, so Chalet Manor is not suitable for those with limited mobility. However, we think it's a great choice for two or three families with children who enjoy the great outdoors, mountain sports and peace and quiet.
If required, and requested in advance, a Fiat Panda 4x4 is available for you to borrow for groceries and luggage during winter. Please note that this car is only insured for round trips to the Town Hall parking lot. Please bear in mind that if the roads are snowy, it will be impossible for you to access the chalet without a 4x4 vehicle equipped with snow tyres and / or snow chains. The pool is available from mid-May to mid-September.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Great chalet in a nice location

Beautiful chalet in the middle of nowhere (it looks just like the pictures) with a bunch of great hikes nearby. The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything else was perfect too (only the sauna reached a maximum temperature of 65°C, but it may be fixed soon). The manager was super nice and helpful! A solid 10/10 stay, thanks for having us and see you again soon!

Very well-equipped chalet in a stunning location. Personally, there were 7 of us, and I think if there were 12, the chalet would have been too small. The outside area is lovely with the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. It's a shame the jacuzzi wasn't working, but we made full use of the pool and sauna and really adored the views. The bathrooms are top quality and a pleasure to use, and the beds are really comfortable with lovely bed linen. Having two lounges was a real benefit.

Beautiful mountainside location with great views. The last 600m are unpaved road. A suitable car is an advantage. Great house with super facilities. During our week we had a lot of flies in the house. The sauna reached a maximum of 65 degrees.

Chalet Manoe was a dream. We enjoyed this wonderful environment and plenty of activities within 15-20km. Despite the last road being quite unusual, it is a comfortable and easy way up. Definitely use Maps as a sat nav. Thanks to the owners of this wonderful gem and thanks to OVO network, especially to Julie and Marine!

Best view on the mountains ever!
This chalet really has the best view on the mountains ever. Even better than expected! The surroundings with the cows in the backyard was great. The house was as shown in the pictures. This property is one of the best we ever stayed. Pool and hot tub are great. Check-in was very easy. Marina, the manager, was great. She has always been available and helpful in any kind. We all enjoyed our stay. The kids liked the pool, the men the sauna and the women the hot tub. The house is nicely furnished and well equipped.

The view is UNBEATABLE.
One of the best holiday rentals I have ever stayed at. The view is UNBEATABLE. Communication with our host was incredibly easy and smooth. Check-in was also easy! The chalet is beautiful and well designed. The hot tub was awesome as well as the pool! Plenty of activities around as well. I would come back without hesitation!

Our second time at chalet Manoe, and not our last!
This was our second time visiting chalet Manoe, we loved our holiday so much last time, we couldn't wait to return. The property has undergone recent renovations, which have improved many aspects. This includes new and improved bathrooms and the beds are now even more comfortable with softer mattresses. We already look forward to coming back a third time, thank you so much to our hosts and OVO Network for a smooth process. We highly recommend this chalet in winter and summer alike!

Semaine magnifique à tout point de vue
La piscine, le jacuzzi, le calme et la vue, tout est parfait pour se détendre. Je ne me suis lassé ni de la vue ni du confort de ce chalet. Marine la manager gère parfaitement le séjour et nous a livré pour le dernier soir un délicieux dîner concocté par son époux du "Rest'o Chalet". Qu'elle bonheur de voir le restaurant venir à nous sans bouger de notre chaise longue!! De plus les placards de la cuisine sont pleins de produits de base, donc aucun stress pour le premier soir. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Excellent séjour
L’intérieur du chalet permet de loger 8 adultes et bébés en préservant l’indépendance de chacun. Spacieux, très confortable, 3 grandes salles de bain, , la pièce commune très vaste et la mezzanine aménagée en pièce télé, lecture, jeux, chacun a pu être à son rythme.
La vue extérieure est extraordinaire et piscine, jacuzzi et sauna invitent à la détente après la rando ou juste farniente !Mention spéciale à Marine pour son accueil et sa disponibilité, merci à elle.

Situation du chalet exceptionnelle en haut d'un crêt. Location bien équipée, moderne et chaleureuse. Jacuzzi et sauna face aux montagnes : juste magnifique. Marine, la manager du chalet, sera aux petits soins pour vous (accueil, conseils randonnées ou autres, livraisons repas, organisation activités...).

Exactly as described !
Chalet Manoe is well equipped, beautifully maintained with amazing views and we were well looked after by Marine and Manuel.
We were not expecting the views to be quite so breath-taking plus we did not realise that the bedding, rooms and concierge service would be of hotel standard.
Everything was absolutely spotless, even the BBQ!
Marine called us a few days before arrival to confirm timings, how we’d like the rooms made up and whether we needed anything else. She warmly welcomed us on arrival, spoke to each of our children by name then provided a full tour of the house and explained how everything worked.
Chalet Manoe is in a truly beautiful location and incredibly well-equipped. We enjoyed many days simply admiring the view and listening to buzzards whilst switching between hot tub and pool, before retiring to the restful living space. When we did go out, we were a short drive from many different hiking trails (which our four children aged 6 to 14 enjoyed) and amazing Mont Blanc vistas.
The welcome and support from Marine and Manuel is top notch and added to our children feeling like they were in their own hotel!

La vue est sublime! Le départ de randonnées sans prendre la voiture est un luxe, et la détente le soir dans le jacuzzi et la piscine juste magique. Marine la manager a été très à l'écoute de nos besoins et a réagi très rapidememt à chaque question.

Beaucoup de place pour 11 personnes. De belles balades au départ du chalet. Une très belle vue. Un peu loin des pistes et le chemin d'accès est difficilement praticable quand il neige. Très agréable séjour sinon pour tout le reste.

Nous avons loué ce chalet à l'occasion du marathon d'Annecy, et nous avons été enchanté par le niveau de prestation du lieu. Toutes les informations détaillées dans le site sont conformes à la réalité. Que dire de la vue, le balcon avec une vue à 270° sur la vallée de Manigod et les cols des Aravis exceptionnelle, sans aucun vis à vis ! Le chalet Manoé propose un accueil clairement haut de gamme. Pour les sportifs, le chalet se situe à 500m du départ du KV de Manigod. Un remerciement spécial à Isabelle pour son accueil et ses petits conseils.

Lovely Chalet
Our stay at Chalet Manoe was great! The Chalet is beautiful and nicely decorated and we had a lovely family Christmas with grandparents and children. The view is just gorgeous and the chalet is beautifully situated in a lovely isolated spot. There are walks directly from the chalet that can be done with children and shopping is relatively easy when the roads are clear. Access to Manigod Ski Station is easy and only 15-20 minutes away.
It is a spacious and very comfortable chalet - the open kitchen and the big dining table lend to social cooking, which was fun and everyone could be part of it. The upstairs den was very comfortable with big sofas and a little kiddies' corner to just hang out and play. It was perfect that the bedrooms were all downstairs, so if people wanted to be undisturbed, this could be easily done.
Manigod Valley is just beautiful.
We can recommend staying in Chalet Manoe.

A fabulous Christmas
We spent Christmas at Chalet Manoe, and it was fabulous. The chalet is well equipped, spacious and has surroundings to die for.
The drive up the lane can be a little difficult in the snow but once the neighbours have been out with the JCB, it is much easier. The underfloor heating makes you feel cozy and the log fire just makes you feel relaxed and warm. This is the perfect place to unwind and it is close enough to the village/skiing to be able to get the most out of your holiday. The communication with the host is perfect and the neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great holiday.

Excellent séjour dans ce chalet très bien équipé et agréable à vivre. Le paysage et les montagnes sont magnifiques. C'est le point de départ idéal pour de nombreuses randonnées. La vallée est en cul de sac et donne un côté privilégié par son calme. Le propriétaire est disponible facilement même en ne résidant pas sur place.

Région superbe et séjour agréable
La région est absolument sublime et les activités y sont très nombreuses, peu importe le temps qu'il fait. Le chalet est magnifique, conforme à la description et à nos attentes. Très bien équipé. Il dispose d'une belle et grande terrasse, d'un sauna, et d'une piscine très agréable, d'où la vue est à couper le souffle. Au calme, assez isolé mais à seulement 20 min. du charmant village de Thônes (commerces, restaurations, supermarché, marché samedi matin...) et à 35-40 min. du centre d'Annecy. La communication avec les propriétaires fût très facile (réponse rapide et disponibilité).

Bon séjour en famille dans ce vaste chalet très bien équipé.
Le chemin d'accès est ardu pour les 500 derniers mètres... mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle: vue imprenable, tranquillité, bon équipement, belle décoration intérieure, et superbe terrasse. Avec en prime dans les environs sentiers et ski de rando.

Perfect!
Although there was no snow with only 4 or 5 slopes open in the ski area of La Clusaz, we had a beautiful week at Chalet Manoe. We were impressed by the tasteful furnishing and the peferct equipped kitchen. The service was perfect too, up to bathrobes, shoes and towels for the sauna. The sauna is a real highlight. We enjoyed the view through the large window to the beautiful landscape and the starlit sky every day. And, last but not least, the chalet is perfectly located in absolute quietness but still not too far away from the next village.

Le paradis sur Terre
Chalet aménagé avec beaucoup de goût avec tout le confort nécessaire. La situation du chalet est exceptionnelle. En un mot, le paradis sur Terre ... La vue, la tranquillité et le confort nous ont ravis. La mise à disposition des bouquins et dvd est très appréciable, tout comme les draps de bain et peignoirs, et l'équipement de la cuisine.

The view has captured us...
From the moment we arrived at your chalet the view has captured and mesmerised us. A truly stunning location in a beautiful valley which we wish we had more time to explore. We enjoyed the climb up the top of Merdassier and all the wonderful walks up from the end of your valley finished off with cold mountain river splash - what a perfect day. Your musical cows must also get a special mention - now recorded and going on mobile as a ringtone. The sun deck, pool and sauna was enjoyed by us all. We can just imagine the sauna in deep snow! We enjoyed also our walk down memory lane from 30 years ago around Lake Annecy! Thank you for all your recommendations...

Just perfect!
It was so beautiful from the beginning on. We loved the nature around the chalet and we loved the chalet that much, that we didn't want to leave. It was just perfect and we will come back for sure!!
