Chalet Chenavray is an OVO Network property. It's a five-bedroom, four-bathroom chalet for 10 guests, spread over three floors, with 130 M2 of floor space.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

Chalet Chenavray was one of the first chalets to join the OVO Network and has always been popular with multi-generational families looking for a comfortable chalet in a great location.

The lower floor was at one time set up as a separate apartment, so has its own entrance, kitchen, dining area, lounge, bathroom and bedroom, and its own deck.

The fireplace, living space and dining area are on the main floor, as is the main kitchen, which is small but well equipped. The sauna is in the bathroom on this floor.

The large main terrace is to the side and rear of the chalet, with a brick barbecue, table tennis table, dining area and private space for sunbathing.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

By booking this chalet, you agree to an additional cost of €12.50 per registered animal, which will be deducted from your security deposit at the end of your stay. For electric vehicle owners, a flat-rate fee of €50 will be deducted from you security deposit at the end of you stay to cover the cost of the electricity needed to recharge the batteries. Please contact the manager if interested. Please note that the downstairs apartment is only accessible via outside, and separate from the upper level. The drive can be tricky in the winter even when cleared of snow, you may prefer to park by the road and walk up (approx 50m).

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

The property lived up to expectations and we all had a great time. The views where amazing and the outside space was excellent. It was exceptionally hot this year and no fans where available even upon request before arriving. However we had a great time and found the location great for Thones/ La Clusaz and Annecy Lake. Communication after visit over an issue on the deposit has not been as positive but would not stop me from using this property again.

Simplement magique

Le chalet Chenavray est très bien situé avec des vues magnifiques sur les environs. Très bien équipé et digne d'un chalet haut de gamme OVO Network. Nous avons aussi apprécié le nombre de salles de bain et la présence d’un sauna. Tout était bien pensé pour passer un séjour relaxant au top.

Le chalet est très bien placé, très bon accueil de Steve. Toutes les chambres ont leurs salles de bains et la literie est très confortable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et avons déjà hâte de revenir.

Emplacement sublime et au calme, avec une vue à couper le souffle. L'équipement est complet (mais petit bémol lors de notre séjour avec la télévision). Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à séjourner dans cet endroit. Nous renouvellerons cette expérience. Merci également à Steve le manager pour sa disponibilité et son efficacité.

Our stay in Chalet Chenavray was very lovely. The terrace was nice and the grill worked very well. The space, while compact was well used. Steve was efficient and friendly, and very helpful - responding quickly to any needs we had. The strengths of Chalet Chenavray are the fabulous views, the lovely decorating, and the overall comfort. And Steve's helpfulness and friendly smile.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Chalet CHENAVRAY. Très beau, raffiné, et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, offrant de très belles prestations, avec un équipement plus que complet. Une situation exceptionnelle avec des vues magnifiques sur les montagnes enneigées et sur la vallée. Nous recommandons particulièrement cette propriété, sans oublier l'accueil sympathique de Steve le manager et de Sylvie d'OVO Network lors de notre réservation.

I spent nearly one month in your wonderful chalet, and I am grateful that it was a possibility at all. The period - April - turned out to be exceptional regarding the weather. Sun more or less every day and spring exploded around us. I was supposed to do some studies in my field - architecture - while staying there, whilst my family, friends and partners in my firm would come and go. I didn´t succeed in doing any studies at all though, and I actually consider this to be the most successful part of the stay in any regards. Instead we relaxed, drove mountainbikes and ate and drank local delicacies, while enjoying the magnificent surroundings. Chenavray is a great house with many rooms and bathrooms. There is also a great independant appartment. All was great : location in the area, great veranda.... And I really enjoyed the beautiful nature and kind locals. I feel quite sure that I will be visiting your house again next year if possible !!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille dans ce chalet très bien équipé, et très propre, ensoleillé avec une vue superbe sur les montagnes enneigées. Très bon accueil également. Sa situation (loin des autres habitations) est idéale et la petite station de Manigod est familiale, très sympathique, et non bruyante. Deux remarques: peut-être revoir la literie de la 1ère chambre du haut, et indiquer le numéro du chalet en bas de l'allée pour les nouveaux arrivants afin de mieux se repérer.

Super séjour de rêve dans votre magnifique chalet très bien aménagé(tout y est).Seul difficulté : en cas de fortes neiges il faut équiper les véhicules non 4x4 de chaînes pour le chemin qui mène au chalet. Très bon accueil de Steve. La région et la vue du chalet sont splendides.

Chalet très confortable, les salles de bains sont très agréables, les chambres aussi, la cheminée dans la pièce principale est très conviviale... Rien ne manque, tout est bien pensé. Le sauna et l'appartement indépendant sont un plus. Le chalet est bien situé pour les balades aux alentours, proche du village, du col de la Croix Fry, et de La Clusaz.

Nous venons de quitter le chalet Chenavray où nous avons passé une semaine à 10 + 1 bébé. Tout le monde était triste de quitter ce superbe endroit qu'est la vallée de Manigod, où nous avons pu tous profiter d'activités diverses et variées. Le chalet nous à permis de vivre cette semaine dans les meilleurs conditions, il est bien équipé, très propre à notre arrivé, et nous avons été très bien accueillis par Steve, toujours présent si besoin. Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique sous un soleil radieux et un paysage exceptionnel! Nous y reviendrons certainement! Merci.

Très beau chalet, chaleureux, spacieux, très bien équipé.. bref, parfaitement adapté à notre famille. Sa localisation face à un paysage de rêve, en retrait par rapport à la route mais surtout en retrait par rapport au flot de touristes, en fait à notre goût un atout majeur! Un séjour sans risque pour nos 2 chiens! Merci de les avoirs acceptés. L'accueil et la mise à disposition du manager font certes partie de notre satisfaction générale.

Très joli chalet, vue magnifique face aux montagnes,environnement. La station de ski de Manigod est familiale (à 10 min du chalet, il faut donc prendre la voiture) et La Clusaz est toute proche.

Good value for money

Good value for money

We booked the house for one week in summer with four adults and six children. The area is really beautiful in summer and there is lots to do for children. The house is relatively close to the road to La Clusaz but you have stunning views from the two terraces. We used the four bedroom as well as the independant apartment and thought it was no problem that they are not connected. The house was very well presented and clean and although the kitchen is small it was extremly well equipped. The whole house is well equipped. The bedrooms are cosy with good mattresses. The dining table is big enough for ten. I think the living area would be a bit of a squeeze with ten people in winter, but then you would have a big room downstairs as well. It is very good value for money in summer and we would recommened the chalet.

Late in the season but still managed to ski!

We had a great time and particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. It was late in the season but we still managed to do plenty of skiing with both novices and more experienced skiers getting on well. After several years skiing in the area we went to Annecy when it was not raining! It is beautiful in the sunshine and some of the hardier members of the party went swimming in the lake.
