The host was so helpful and the house was perfect. The location was very central. It was so nice having four bedrooms, with one with two twin beds for our kids. The host so nicely set up a crib for our baby. It is furnished so cutely too! We loved Honfleur. Our kids spent hours on the carousel and enjoyed the butterfly garden nearby. Thank you so much.

All the little extras were thought of. Wonderful location and a very friendly area. Thank you Lesley.

Very central location on a picturesque, quiet street. A big house with everything you need for a comfortable stay and as we were a big group, lots of space for dinner at home. Honfleur is a pretty little town with lots of shops and restaurants. You wont be disappointed, we had a fabulous week.

The apartment was in a perfect location! A very quiet street and close to downtown Honfleur. It had a lot of charm and everything we needed. Our family of seven adults had a great time.

We were delighted with our choice. This was our third attempt at our ‘sisters’ holiday (due to pandemic)
The house was perfect for 6, very comfortable, everything you needed and fabulous location. Thank you Lesley.

Pros: Very good location. Well supplied kitchen and facilities. Helpful information was provided.
Cons: Property description should advise guests that there are three flights of stairs, very steep and narrow making it especially difficult to bring luggage to rooms. Main floor with living room and kitchen is on second floor. Person in one third floor bedroom had to use second floor bathroom.

The property was well appointed, clean and the patio was a beautiful place for a glass of wine. We found a lot of nice restaurants as well as groceries nearby. We toured the Normandy area quite easily from there.

Immaculate House in Honfleur
Beautifully located in one of the streets that leads directly onto the Old Harbour, this house couldn't have been more perfect. A large living area and kitchen (equipped to a very high standard) and 4 good sizes bedrooms, it suited our family of six down to the ground. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water - a real home and a tremendous base for exploring this amazing town. Just wish we could have stayed longer1

What a perfect spot with such a kind host!
The place is absolutely beautiful, with a dreamy kitchen, too. (Because of Covid, we ate in more often than we might on vacation, and I loved cooking in this kitchen!) The location was perfect, so close to everything. We really enjoyed Fleur de Sel (restaurant about one minute walk away), as well as the market in front of St. Catherine. There are tons of great spots within walking distance for apero, pastries and bread, a full meal, coffee, or whatever else you need. The local shops and art galleries were fun to explore and people were so friendly.
The townhouse is enormous and very well appointed. All three of our children were able to have their own bedrooms and the common areas were comfortable and great for eating and socializing. Both bathrooms are renovated, and one even has a tub (heavenly, especially after staying in a studio apartment in Paris). The internet worked well, too, and we were able to telework and stream sports in the US, very important to our children. (Less so for me, but there was plenty of space to escape, both in the property and out and about, so this was a win for everyone!)
The location was great, perfect for day trips. We visited Le Havre, Deauville, Rouen (for Christmas Day with family), and Etretat. (Special note for golfers: We played in Deauville and Etretat and really enjoyed both. The views from the cliffs are absolutely magnificent. It was easy to rent clubs and get tee times, even without a French golf license.) We also took a day long tour of the Normandy beaches with a personal guide, which we highly recommend. We arrived from Paris by car and the drive was quite easy. When we left, we headed to Le Mans, another easy drive, for another family gathering. Parking was super easy.
Lesley is such a great host and was very helpful in providing local information and answering any other questions we had. She is very quick to respond. We were there over Christmas, so she asked beforehand if we would like a few decorations. We did and they were so pretty! Perfect for our stay.
Thank you so much, Lesley. We had a wonderful time and your beautiful home was a big part of that!

Honfleur house
A beautiful property in an excellent location within two minutes of the town centre and a ten minute walk to the beach. The house is stylishly decorated and the location was perfect for our family. Communication with the owner was also excellent. We would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely fantastic
We were a family of six aged from 16 to 75, and we all loved the house. Fantastic location, on a lovely street with shops and restaurants leading to 'le vieux bassin', and also with a pleasant peaceful courtyard garden. The house is absolutely charming, with heaps of character, but lots of nice little modern touches in the kitchen and bathrooms in particular, good wifi and they even have the option of British TV which meant we could keep up with our daily fix of Wimbledon! We loved it, and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hondfleur.

Great place for a visit to Honfleur
We are a family of 7, and came to the area to visit the beaches of Normandy, about a 90 minute drive away. We made a great choice. The home was lovely, and it had everything we needed, including toys and games for the kids. Exploring this beautiful town, which was an enjoyable, short walk away, was an added bonus - so much to see and do. The location was perfect. There was a park close by for the children and a lovely beach, which we walked to. I would definitely stay again while In the area.

Great apartment
We stayed with another family (four adults and four kids) and we loved the apartment, location and decor. The kitchen is beautiful and I almost wished we had been able to use it, but we were busy eating out at the great local restaurants and seeing sights. Lesley was very helpful with communication. It was nice to have the lock-box option so we did not have to come up with a specific time to meet someone to let us in to the apartment. Parking down the block was free and easy.

Wonderful town house
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully equipped and furnished house. The rooms are spacious and light, the beds are very comfortable. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town and we enjoyed cycling and walking in the surrounding countryside. The garage is great for bike storage, we used the free parking just a few minutes walk from the house for parking our cars. The kitchen is very well equipped for a large group and the collection of games and dvds are great for nights in. The small walled garden with seating area is lovely too. A fantastic holiday home.

A great place for a longer stay
When we drove into Honfleur after a fairly arduous journey across the world, we were delighted to find ourselves in one of the most 'characterful' Streets in this lovely town. The house was everything we had expected from the description -roomy, comfortable and very well equipped. We stayed for a month and found something new to see and do every day. I would certainly recommend it to any Australian/New Zealanders who want a comfortable lodging for a longer stay. Deeply envious of the Brits who can pop over any weekend!

Great house great location
Our favorite house during our French vacation- the house is spacious, clean and well equipped. It is within the town of beautiful Honfleur (3 min walk to harbor). Lots to do and see. Great shops selling beautiful art, crafts, food, dress shops etc. pretty churches, lovely restaurants. I really can’t say anything negative about this house or location. Totally recommend it ❤️

Perfect location
We stayed with another couple for 3 nights at Holfleur House. Leslie and David could not have been more gracious, the 2 bottles of wine on the table to welcome us was a very nice touch. The house is perfectly located to explore Honfleur and Honfleur is perfectly situated to explore the area. If you want to explore northern Normandy I can't think of a better place to stay.

104 Rue Haute
My friends and I loved Honfleur; enjoyed exploring the town and the surrounding countryside. It made a great starting point to see the D Day beaches, Beuvron en Auge and Etretat.
The house was spacious - only 3 of us - the 2 baths helped. There was only 1 shower though so we had to take turns with that. Parking our car in the garage was a challenge so recommend getting a smaller size vehicle but we squeezed in! We had some problems getting the garage door open but Lesley Cameron the owner was right on top of it and had it fixed asap!
highly recommend!

Hon Fleur....
An excellent property, although from the pictures we thought it was on the waterfront.. Also thought there were 2 1/2 baths, which was needed for 8 people. Would recommend it to anyone....

An authentic French home in a delightful town full of character
We had a fabulous holiday in Normandy thanks to staying in this delightful home full of French character. The house is perfectly located within the town and the numerous restaurants and activities were all within walking distance. The kitchen is a real hub within the house and the bedrooms were of a good size for family living, providing space for all members of the family. The courtyard garden was also delightful and many an hour was whiled away there. We would highly recommend this Home and we emphasise the word Home.

The house was beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed and very pleasant to relax in, in an ideal location for exploring the pretty town of Honfleur - perfect for our family gathering. The owner, Lesley, was very helpful and we did appreciate the welcoming wine! Many thanks.

Great home base to visit the North of France
Lesley’s apartment was the perfect location for exploring the north of France, including the Normandy D-Day Beaches, and Deauville, (a beautiful beach town with a family friendly racetrack). Honfleur is a charming, historic port village with cobblestone streets to wander through. We loved the galleries and peering into the shops. We walked over to the Carrefour Market most mornings, less than a half-mile away, and ate in most nights. The kitchen of the apartment is very well equipped, better than the usual VRBO house we visit. The quality of food as we consistently found at markets, coffee shops and restaurants was better than average and not as expensive as we had expected.
Our family of five from Chicago used each of the four bedrooms and found them to be very comfortable. It was very warm while we were there,, but by opening the windows at night we created a cross breeze to cool down the sleeping areas; close the windows before 4am in order to avoid the noise of the birds and from the streets below. Don’t forget to explore the basement - we used beach towels, the washing machine, the hanging line to dry our clothes, and tennis rackets (at the clay courts across Blvd Charles V - 20 EUR fee to use the club). There are also games and books around the apartment.
Initial accessibility to the apartment is on Rue Haute. The pictures on the listing are taken from Blvd Charles V (D513). A word of caution - it is difficult to drive down Rue Haute during peak pedestrian times, and the parking is pay and park. There is free parking at Naturospace (Butterfly Museum) on Blvd Charles V; we parked there and walked the block or so to the flat.
In Honfleur, explore the Saturday market around St. Catherine’s, St. Catherine’s itself, and the nearby Jardin Des Personalites (a beautiful garden commemorating local artists, politicians, and other historical figures). There is a very large beach at one end of the garden, worth an afternoon trip. Take a pass on the boat ride that stays in the harbor, but the ferris wheel provided some beautiful views of the port.
Lesley was very easy to work with, no surprises. Everything in the flat was self-explanatory so we had no need to contact her during the trip. My husband could not work out how to use the French channels on the TV to watch a British soccer match, but that was of little consequence. If we come back to the area we would not hesitate to stay at the flat again.

Great house, great location.
Big house , 4 big bedrooms. Well equiped, you'll never go short of crockery! Very clean and tidy. Super location only 5 mins from the pretty port. Parking not an issue though we did try to get a new Discovery Sport into the garage but it was about 6" too long but no problem with the height. So we parked on the road and in the car park by the Nature Center 30sec walk away.
Lesley answer my queries quickly usually the same day if not the same hour.

Great location in a charming town!
House is very well equipped. Stand up shower is en suite in one of top floor bedrooms. Middle floor has two queen rooms that share bathroom with tub and hand held shower. Free parking is nearby. Small cars only will fit garage. Town is well located for touring area and Normandy. Thanks for a great stay!

An extremely enjoyable stay in such a beautiful house which is so conveniently located.
The house is really well equipped with plenty of room for two families. We loved the decor and the fantastic location with everything right on the door step. Lesley was really helpful with any questions that we had and we particularly appreciated the welcoming wine. We would definitely book this house again. Thank you, Lesley and David!

4 storey townhouse in great location for Town and Beach
Lovely nicely decorated and well equipped house in a great location with a short walk to both the basin and the beach.
The property has two addresses and can be accessed from either side.
The ground level consists of a utility room, with a door to the garden, and a garage which will fit a small car. I have a low car and due to the camber of the road and the slightly raised entrance I needed to use a couple of blocks in the gutter to stop the front of my car scraping when entering/exiting the garage
Plenty of room to store push bikes etc in the utility room which also has a table football game and several kites and other child toys
The 1st Floor comprises of a lounge/dining room and separate generous size kitchen. DVD player and lots of DVDs (all genres)
The 2nd floor has 2 nice size double bedrooms. 1 at each end separated by a landing and the main bathroom.
The 3rd floor has 2 twin rooms and a large landing in between (play area with English board games/books etc for the kids)
All rooms had good wardrobe space and plenty of hangers
