WELCOME TO THE BEACH BARN, located on Puget Sound's Case Inlet next door to Fair Harbor Marina and Port of Grapeview boat launch. Bring your boat. 2 kayaks provided! A peaceful waterfront escape located 1.5 hours south of Seattle. 3 bedrooms with 2 king size beds and 4 twin beds. 3 private baths, 1 for each bedroom. Great room features 22 feet of windows facing the water view. Outdoor fire pit, steps to the beach. Walk along the beach, dig clams and oysters. Large covered deck, gas BBQ grill.
ABOUT THE HOUSE
KITCHEN: Large, roomy, open, newly remodeled with white shaker cabinets, granite counters and slate finish GE appliances. Lots of counter space and a peninsula with 4 bar stools. Huge 9 foot wide picture window above the sink to take full advantage of the view. Fully equipped with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, mugs and serve ware.
LIVING ROOM: Beautifully updated living room features a propane gas shiplap covered fireplace and large windows overlooking the waterfront view. 55" HD smart television with YouTube TV to watch live TV.
DINING ROOM: Table with built-in banquette seating, bench and chair.
MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM: This bedroom features a plush king-sized bed. The main floor bathroom with shower is adjacent to this room and when the sliding barn door is closed, the privacy of an ensuite is created.
UPSTAIRS MASTER BEDROOM: 180-degree water and marina views await you in this oversized master suite. King sized bed plus twin daybed with pull out trundle sleeps 4 total in this room. 49" HD smart television. 2 large picture windows with a sliding glass door that leads you to a large deck with 2 comfy lounge chairs. Ensuite master bathroom features marble counters, tiled shower, make-up vanity counter and bench.
UPSTAIRS TWIN BEDROOM: Pair of twin beds sleeps 2. Charming sea creature themed art will delight the young and young at heart alike. Ensuite 1/2 bath includes sink and toilet (no shower).
GARAGE: Guests have access to the garage for entrance to the property and access to the washer/dryer. Parking vehicles in the garage is not permitted. The garage is roomy enough to store your water toys, kayaks, coolers, etc. with plenty of shelf space to spread out.
DECKS: The lower deck is covered and features dining table for 6 and separate seating area with 2 chairs and a loveseat. Lower deck has built in bench seating all the way around. Upper deck is off the master bedroom and has seating for 2 in woven Adirondack style chairs. Both decks face east and have ample morning sun and are shady on hot summer evenings.

The driveway has room to park 4 cars comfortably. Near the driveway is an enclosed outdoor shower (open during the warm season) with hot/cold water to comfortably rinse off after a dip in the Sound. The grassy yard overlooks the water and is a great spot to relax. Built-in firepit on the lawn. The cement bulkhead includes a short 7 step stairway to the beach and the water. At high tide, the water comes right up onto the stairs. At low tide, enjoy gathering oysters and steamer clams or take a stroll along the beach.

We stayed to attend a family reunion nearby and had the best time, the home has kayaks, a fully stocked kitchen, amazing views of the water and the quiet pier has a marketplace with any little things you may have forgotten (and of course ice cream for the kids). We highly recommend staying here!

The Beach Barn was very clean, extremely comfortable, and way above our expectations. We grew up visiting Grapeview (our grandparents had a piece of property with a couple of cabins on the water), so we were thrilled when our cousin chose Grapeview as the destination for her wedding. Everything you could possibly need is available in the kitchen, the bedding is top of the line and super comfortable, there is a washer and dryer, and three kayaks you can launch right in front of the Beach Barn. It was fabulous and we would love to stay again!

It was a very appreciated peaceful respite for our group. There are not a lot of dining or grocery options locally. But the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking with quality pans and easy to cook in, and there is a grill.
The house is both comfortable and luxurious, and very well cared for. We wanted for nothing. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

This property is special, with a well-stocked kitchen, gas fireplace and wonderful amenities. The weather was dry on NYE so we were able to have a campfire and s'mores with the kids after sunset overlooking the water. The covered deck with heat lamp made for some cozy outdoor chats. And the beds were super comfortable. We were able to enjoy some jigsaw puzzles plus watch the Sugar Bowl game from the comfort of the living room. Thank you, Diane and Mark! We'll be back.

Wow!! I can honestly say this was probably the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed in. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The decor is also very nice and flows wonderfully through the house. We enjoyed the mornings drinking coffee and sitting on the patio with the outdoor heater on and a blanket watching the marina.
Seals swim by and eagles fly over.
We have family near by so we will definitely stay here again!!!

Beautifully decorated home with a great layout for our two family groups (one upstairs w teens, one downstairs w baby). Nothing dangerous for my under 2yo niece and plenty of room for everyone. We stayed here with friends for my 55th birthday, and we had a terrific time! The house was so beautiful and extremely clean. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Plus we really loved kayaking around the inlet and we're so grateful for the kayaks that were provided. The beach barn holds special memories for our family, this is our second stay and we will definitely be back. The location is amazing, being right on the Puget and beside the marina allows visitors to enjoy the locals. We meet some lovely people on our stay, including a lovely man who gifted us a bottle of red wine from his vineyard Mosquito Fleet winery. More memories were made with our American family. The beach barn is well thought out and very relaxing it has everything you need to make your stay perfect.

Home is decorated beautifully with every amenity needed for a stay away from home. Serene, scenic, and comfortable. This is our second stay at the Beach Barn, visiting from Hawaii and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves once again. The house is very clean and filled with thoughtful touches like nice lighting, easy to understand written instructions, clock radios that charge phones, fans, and more. The house is well cared for and maintained. The location is terrific. We loved being on the water in a sheltered location, perfect for kayaking. This was a great getaway for a family of five.

We have the best time at the Beach Barn and only wish we could have stayed longer! I appreciated prompt communication with our host, an easy check-in experience, a freshly cleaned house upon our arrival, and a very well appointed house! The house is in a beautiful spot on the water with private beach access. We especially loved having the ability to use the two kayaks at the house with plenty of life jackets of various sizes. The place is quiet and peaceful. We hope to get back soon!

A perfect gateway
The beach barn is both spacious and cozy and beautifully appointed. It is fully stocked and very clean and comfortable. Kayaks are available for a quick paddle and the beach is terrific for a walkabout. Diane was more than accommodating. We had a perfect gateway.

What a wonderful experience! I really appreciated how promptly all my inquiries about the property were addressed prior to committing to the rental. Diane is a top notch host. No matter when I messaged her with a question she responded within minutes. Our check-in / check-out process was a breeze.
The house and grounds were exactly as describe if not better! The house is extremely well stocked; from the kitchen to the linens and towels and even outdoor toys. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have good fans and heat!
We harvested clams and oysters from the beach in front of the house and It was such a delight to cook our catch in the beautiful kitchen. The views from the large windows can't be beat.
There are many things to do in the area. We visited a couple State Parks and went bowling one afternoon. However, the house and property are so comfortable there really is no need to go anywhere else!
The 2 children in our group had fun playing in the sand at the edge of the lawn while the adults enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful deck overlooking the yard, beach and water.
We spent 5 nights at this property and loved every minute of it. Thank you.

Perfect for all ages with easy access for one of us needing first floor only. Extremely well stocked cooking items in kitchen including multiple new pots and pans and sharp knives. Beds very comfortable. Comfy and cozy house in spite of cold snowy weather. We hope to come back again in warmer weather.

Beautiful Waterfront Getaway
This house was nicely updated and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and everything felt homey and new. The views of the water from both levels were outstanding. We were here in the winter so the marina was closed but amenities are just a short drive away to Allyn or Belfair. The location met our needs as a relaxing Retreat and good jumping off spot to area attractions.

Huge windows in the kitchen and living area draw you straight to the gorgeous view. Cannot express how beautiful it is. Marina, boats, birds, seals, the list goes on and on. Beautifully decorated, cozy, and well thought out. The washer and dryer are handy. Super easy access to everything in the house. This would be a great property for bringing your elderly parents with a downstairs king bedroom and a step in shower.

We loved our stay at this place! It was very clean and plenty of living space for 7 people. We enjoyed having coffee/breakfast on the porch in the mornings and when we were around for dinner, we enjoyed dinner on the porch too. Make sure to visit the Marina gift shop (owners were very friendly and helpful) and kayak around the island. That was gorgeous!

Beautiful home, view, and decor.
Second time staying here and it never disappoints. Extraordinary clean! The view and entertainment of the boat lunch cannot be beat. Two decks so that you can get as little or as much sun as you would like. The heater on the lower deck was fantastic for chilly mornings and evenings. The beds are extremely comfortable and the decor is super cute. This kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs.
