Staying here was so easy, and comfy!
Traffic was simple to get to Mayo. And the owner was so very helpful and plesant!

The place was perfect for us. Super clean and had everything we needed. The master bedroom was very comfortable. I loved the sheets, pillows and black out curtains. Slept very well there. The location was much more convenient to than expected. It’s within easy walking distance to the clinic. Thanks for a great stay.

The house was as described. A nice remodel of an older 2 story house. Very nice kitchen/dining area, big screen TV with couch and power recliner in the living room, etc. Having the garage was great as we had storms during our stay. A 12 minute walk to Mayo. Quiet area. The only issue was solved quickly….a mixup with the code numbers at our arrival. A call to the owners and he was there in 5 minutes to help out. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay while going to appointments at Mayo. Neighborhood was quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners could not have been more accommodating, and the house had everything we needed for our short 4 night stay. I would definitely stay again if we come back to Rochester.

We stayed 3 nights to go to appointments at the Gonda building, which was very close to the rental. The furniture was exactly what we'd hoped for, comfortable beds & living room furniture. Having a recliner is always a plus! In the future, this will be a rental we'll look to see if it's available.

The house meets all your needs for comfort and ease of living away from home. The garden setting and koi pond with it’s waterfall were tranquil and calming for sure after many Mayo visits.
10.0 / 10.0
It was fortunate to have the garage to park our motorcycles in due to the record rainfall in Rochester. The deck was under construction which we were not aware of until arrival. Kudos to the owner for replacing old boards but an advance notice would have been nice. Suggest a bathroom fan be installed to avoid moisture from those hot relaxing showers!

We spent 6 nights while visiting Mayo. House was clean, comfortable beds, great linens (super fluffy bath towels) and well stocked kitchen.
Close enough to walk to Mayo, which we did on several occasions. We enjoyed the back porch and fish pond too.

Great home within walking distance to Mayo. Lots of little touches that made it such a comfortable stay. Linens and towels are top-notch, great kitchen to cook in, and even has a beautiful backyard patio to sit out and enjoy.

This place was everything that was listed and more. Quiet neighborhood. Short distance to Mayo Clinic. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I wish I could take the mattress home with me. Definitely 5 plus Stars. We have to come back to Mayo in six months and I will definitely book the VRBO

We wanted a place close enough to walk to the clinic. It's a nice older neighborhood and the house had been remodeled and looked so nice and clean. The kitchen had the utensils we needed to cook our breakfast and lunch. Bottled water was supplied for the kuerig coffee machine. Internet worked perfect and so did the tv. We will definitely stay here again if we have to go back.

Darling property located conveniently for care at Mayo downtown and shopping/food options.

This house was absolutely lovely. It was comfortable and charming and had everything we needed for a week stay. The pictures are accurate (if not, they don’t do it justice) and the location is super close to Mayo. They say you could walk, and you could, if it wasn’t cold or you didn’t have a disability. It was great having a garage to use because it snowed the first night we were in town IN OCTOBER! The only thing I would change about the house, if I could, would be that there isn’t a bathroom on the main floor. The comfy beds (firm, memory foam), location, and every need met, more than makes up for it!

Great, convenient location with just a 10-15 minute walk to the MCC and just driving minutes from Rochester's woonderful variety of restsurants. While the house is an older one, it has been updated very nicely and provided us a pleasant 3-night stay. Our host was top-notch, responsive

We've been staying in Rochester for a year and a half at hotels while getting through appointments and surgeries at Mayo Clinic. We've never felt at home or comfortable.
Knowing I had two new surgeries coming, I decided it was time to find some comfort. I scoured reviews and photos on VRBO and kept coming back to this one.
I finally booked it and it did not disappoint! So comfortable, clean and close to everything.
We are staying again in July and we're so relieved to have a place that feels like a home away from home!

This is a great house. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable. We didn’t use the second bedroom. The kitchen is nice and the location to Mayo and elsewhere is wonderful. The house is quiet and comfortable. It's important if you're staying here to understand that there is no bathroom on the main floor. The description says the full bathroom is upstairs and the laundry and half bath are downstairs, which can be confusing, making it seem like the downstairs is the main floor. It would be helpful if it said "basement" so guests know that every time you have to go to the bathroom, you are using stairs. And there are quite a few. Overall, as long as there is no issue with climbing stairs for the bathroom, it's a great place!

My wife and I stayed here in early May. The photos on the site are very accurate. No surprises. The place was clean and comfortable. An added bonus (if you cook) was the non-stick pans were usable unlike some many other places we've stayed.
The bed was comfortable.Neighborhood was quite. Location was pretty good and within walking distance to St Marys.
Will definitely stay here again.

Well maintained and clean. Very short and ez walk to Charlton area or a quick drive to ramp parking. Didn’t realize bedrooms were upstairs but wasn’t an issue

This beautifully restored home provided a much needed respite as both my husband and I were at Mayo Clinic and Hospital for cancer treatments. The home is cozy, has beautiful woodwork, and makes efficient use of space. The amenities are modern with plenty of storage space, adequate kitchen facilities, and provided with just about everything that was needed for a prolonged stay. Having the garage was handy especially during the historic snowstorm in Rochester. The home is less than .5 mile from the Clinic and my husband was often able to get in his walk to the Clinic and hospital. Jill was so prompt in responding to any question and super nice to work with. We highly recommend this rental for your stay in Rochester. It was a comfort to us.

We would stay again. The beds/furniture were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was great. We were thankful for the close proximity to Mayo Clinic (between a 6-9 minute drive depending upon which building we needed to go to.)

This was a nice, clean home to stay in while we visited Mayo. It was about a half mile walk to the Gonda building. The street was pretty quiet. We could hear the occasional train but it was not obtrusive. The owner was quick with communication and flexible when both when we were uncertain about the length of our stay and when we needed to extend.
The garage was nice and empty so it was easy to pull in. The pond was nice to watch the squirrels and birds.
This is the 4th place we've stayed while visiting Mayo and of the 4 this is the most well balanced.
Would note for guests that there is no dishwasher, but this wasn't an issue for us.
We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

This home was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We appreciated nice touches such as an abundance of USB ports, comfortable couch and recliner, comfortable beds, and blackout curtains in one bedroom. 10 minute walk or drive to Mayo buildings. The backyard was an oasis of calm among busy days of medical appointments.

Great House Close to Mayo
We chose this house to be close to Mayo. It's only 5 minutes away, in a quiet neighborhood. It was just my wife and I, and the house was a good size for us. It was clean, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. There's laundry in the basement, along with a 2nd toilet & sink.
We stayed in the winter, so unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of the backyard. It looks nice in the pictures!
One thing to note, if you drive a full size truck, it won't fit in the garage, but there is space to park it next to the house.
All in all, a great place to stay for a couple who wants to be close to the hospital!

good location to access Mayo facilities
We had an extended stay with daily visits to the clinic so this was an excellent location. The house is a good size for 2 people. Kitchen is very nicely updated, good counter space, cupboard storage and cookware so we were easily able to make our own meals. The garage was a big plus as we were there in winter. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Perfect location
I was visiting family and needed a place to stay since my relatives are getting older and not able to have guests. Jill's home was the perfect location and a wonderful house. It's a quintessential Rochester house that has been very nicely updated with a modern decor. I could use that number of kitchen cabinets in my own house! Beds were comfortable, as was the living room furniture. The TVs were wonderful. My sister and nephew were renting a home nearby, but they spent every evening with us. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the outside deck, next to the fish pond, every evening. Parking is convenient. Jill is a wonderful host and it's obvious she put a lot of work into making the home welcoming. I will definitely book this property again when I return.

Comfortable and convenient
I stayed at this home with my daughter while we were in town for surgery at Mayo clinic. It was so nice to have a comfortable place for her to recuperate and relax. The house was conveniently located just a few blocks from the Mayo buildings and a 5 minute drive to St Mary's campus. We loved being able to cook meals since she was on a special diet and do a quick load of laundry to limit packing to carry ons. Jill was super at getting us checked in easily. The house had every thing we needed!
