We weren't able to stay as the property had an ant infestation and wasn't able to be treated before we were scheduled. The staff was prompt and courteous; however no other properties were available so we had to cancel our trip.

Fabulous location. So quiet and peaceful
Contradictory instructions for fireplace. Lack of information sheet

The cottage was cozy and very clean, even the outdoor grill (which we didn't use.) The location is ideal for exploring the area.
There is no home guide, and we weren't able to figure out the fireplace control. Had to spend time calling Vacasa and then referred to the local manager. Then the TV wouldn't work. Never got it to work, even with phone consultations. Vacasa did refund us a small amount for that. But the worst thing is the 43% extra in taxes and fees, which are ridiculous. Taxes we haven't paid before and don't even know what they are. The rental amount and cleaning fee are fine, as is the standard tax. The amount of additional fees make it much less appealing.

The house was decorated beautifully. It was in a nice private area, with good parking.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the fireplace never lit (we tried repeatedly after rec'g detailed instructions from Vacasa), half of the main room lights didn't work, and there was a banging/scraping noise on the roof. We left after one night there.

The place was small cute and cozy. Great local for the coast.
Door doesn't open or close easily. We got stuck once because or a loose scew caught the latch. We had to clean dishes to use them dog hair and webs were on some of them.
