Beautifully presented & provided everything we needed to have a home away from home. Our wee dog was welcome which made our break away so much easier. Thankyou to our hosts.

Very good.Location excellent.Comfortable house.Pricing very reasonable.A source of minor annoyance was that the owners were still at the property well after agreed check-in time, requiring us to wait in the car on the road untill they left. Also they later returned to the house.
On balance we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this listing. Alan J.

Great family space with beautiful garden and deck area with hammocks that were enjoyed immensely. Loads of books, toys for the 3 year old. excellent kitchen, very well equipped. Will very likely make a return trip as the area is full of historical significance and plenty more to see.

Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home. The property was situated close to Paihia and the garden provided a lovely setting for an easter egg hunt for the kids. Our daughter was particularly enamoured with the fish in the pond.

This was such a great place to stay in Paihia. It was a cozy, bright, and welcoming house in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beautiful Bay of Islands. The yard and surrounding forest made the place feel like you were miles away from everything. Thanks for letting us stay at your place!

The stay started of good then second day owner came over and in the time we were there he must have come over at least 5 more time which made our stay uncomfortable. We had rented this batch for 2 weeks the owners should have stayed away for that time. Also there were a lot of ants all over the bench's that needed cleaning up each day .

The property is great value. The location is handy to Kerikeri, Russell, and of course Paihia. We were warm and comfortable, and particularly enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the sunny deck.

Overall the property was excellent. The only fault was the sofa bed in the 3rd bedroom was not suitable to sleep for adults to sleep on as it was not flat.

Perfect place if you want to catch the car ferry to Russell. Wonderful property, shame we didn't get to see kiwi in the back yard (we went down for 2 mins but decided that it wasn't wise to go beyond the steps in the dark with phone but it was awesome).

Homely Cottage
Loved the vibe of the home; gardens, and all the nic-nacs around the home are intriguing - I guess the owners enjoyed travelling and collecting divine tools like crystals, singing bowls, cultural ornaments/toys & bells. I especially loved that there was Wifi and enjoyed the library bedroom with the forest view. The kitchen and home had all we needed for a family of 6. I would stay again :)
