If you are searching for peace and quiet, The Loft is just 10 minutes from Berry and Kangaroo Valley villages and is situated on Berry Mountain on a five acre property, with tranquility, mountain views and a beautiful garden (as featured in Australia's Open Garden Scheme) and privacy. The alpaca herd, friendly geese and chickens love having visitors to feed them and collect eggs and you may see the local echidna meandering on his search for ants. The Loft building is a separate cottage from the main house and is spacious, with room for 5 adults and children in a small nursery room with a little bed and portacot. There's a full bathroom, separate toilet, deck with hooded bbq, slow combustion stove as well as airconditioning, plenty of books, games, TV, DVD's and player. Substantial breakfast provisions are supplied and dietary requirements catered for. A kitchenette caters for simple meal preparation with a convection microwave, electric frypan, portable hotplates and all amenities and basic kitchen foodstuffs. Dogs are welcome, although they have to be on leash away from the cottage because of the animals and there is no outdoor fenced area provided. Please note I don't take one night bookings during peak holiday periods. The great dining venues of Berry are many and varied and most should be booked in advance at the weekend. Kangaroo Valley also has good cafes and restaurants. Wineries are great to visit; Seven Mile Beach is 20 minutes away; Gerroa with the Crooked River estuary is ideal for children; Fitzroy Falls is 20 minutes and there are many walks to take advantage of the spectacular scenery. Very nice accommodation very comfortable.
The only problem was trying to find your accommodation
If you could get tour place to show on the map apps and also to have more visible signage on both sides of the enterance gate.
Parking facility was great so is your location.
Would also be nice if there were washing up detergent and sponges or cloths for cleaning dishes

We absolutely loved this accomodation. Hidden away in the hills with the most stunning views. Tranquil and breathtaking! We just loved waking up to the sound of nature. Glenys has the most beautiful gardens!

This was the best place i jave booked through this app. Glenys is the ULTIMATE host. We had fresh eggs and bread waiting for us, check in was a breeze, the property is just beautiful and Glenys went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She even posted us some shoes we left behind!! Amazing, cant wait to go back.

I'm so grateful for the beautifully cosy place The Loft is. We felt instantly welcome, relaxed and adopted all the extra thoughtful little touches and comforts that made this place the simple place we needed to recover from our festivities nearby. Gorgeous host, property to explore, and great beds! We all slept very well.

The host was so friendly & helpful. They went out of their way with thoughtful touches to make our stay wonderful. They contacted us with ideas where to have lunch & organised a tour around their beautiful garden. The cottage was clean, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed & a fridge full of delights for our breakfast. I would stay again & again!

This beautiful sandstone property is just delightful. It’s equipped with everything that you would need on vacation. The bathroom is spectacular. And the gardens are gorgeous as well. Very quiet and peaceful.
I was in Berry for a wedding and needed to have access a little earlier than 2pm. Glenys was so helpful and accommodating. She also checked on my breakfast needs and everything was supplied that I requested. Thank for a beautiful stay. Would definitely book again. 🙌

Our group (5 adults) spend a wonderful overnight stay at The Loft. We knew we were squeezing in, and it was perfect for the one night with the numbers we had.
Glenys could not have been more helpful and accommodating, breakfast ingredients were delicious and her home & gardens are delightful.
Great proximity to Berry town centre
My friend’s cavoodle also loved it! We will definitely be back

Fantastic and extremely comfortable accommodation in a beautiful mountain setting. Superb gardens with spring flowers and wildlife including a gorgeous little echidna wandering past the front door. Perfectly positioned to enjoy all of the Southern Highlands, Berry, Gerroa and Gerringong (if you have a dog there are outstanding off leash dog parks here right on the beach about 15 minutes drive away). Thank you Glenys we had a wonderful stay!

The loft is a lovely place to stay in winter, the fireplace was sensational along with the views out of every window. We were so happy to have our much loved border collie with us and enjoyed visiting the small township of Kangaroo Valley that was also pet friendly. If you rug up you will get a view of the stars and milky way outside at night that is quite spectacular. Breakfast was great, thank you Glenys

This is loft was immaculate, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the farm and all its wildlife in it, including the alpacas. Glenys (Host) was very accommodating. We enjoyed the fireplace and the games that were provided. We will definitely be back again.

This place was very comfortable and gave us a feel of the olden days. We had lots of fun playing on the piano and enjoying the cozy warmth of the fireplace. Seeing the alpacas and kangaroos were a very rare and fascinating experience for us. Thank you for letting us stay here and we hope to come back again soon.

The property is a fully equipped and spacious property located in a beautiful mountain setting.
Liked the beautiful gardens with the Alpacas, and that we could bring our dog.
Breakfast provisions were of good quality with both eggs/bacon and bread/ good choice of jams.
DVD player with a few classics to choose was a plus.
Close to Berry and easy contact and instructions from host.
We’ll come back in summer to enjoy the terrace attached to the property!

We had a beautiful stay here! And the rose gardens around the grounds were beautiful and Al thought you are right next to the road, you would never know!
We had some lovely fresh eggs and breakfast provided and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Our small family of 5 adults and our precious cannine enjoyed our get together here, playing the pianola and enjoying meals together around the fireplace. Three bedrooms, two decks, two toilets and a gorgeous bathroom suited us well. Beds and lounges are very comfortable. Cooking facilities and beautiful breakfast supplied by Glenys were much appreciated as was the space for playing ball. Glenys is a lovely and considerate host and provided relevant information on the local area. We enjoyed visiting the busy Berry village on a busy Easter weekend.

The home is homey and clean, practical provisions are complete for a very comfortable stay. Glenys has done wonderfully also on the gardens and little farm area - her property is a splendid peaceful oasis. I took my parents here for a weekend stay and they also loved the place. Thank you Glenys!

We were super impressed with how well the property was set up for a toddler. There were books, toys, toddler bed and travel cot ready to go.

The cottage was lovely, with gorgeous linen and comfy bed. We had the best sleep!
Big windows look out at the beautiful gardens and gum trees surrounding the property. We enjoyed sunset from the deck.
Breakfast provisions were as fresh as possible and delicious.
We visited in summer. It would also be a great place to snuggle in with a fire in winter. Hope to return.

The Lodge is very well equipped and comfortable with everything you need for a stay in Kangaroo Valley. Plenty of games for the kids to play and outdoor space to run around in. Owner lives next door and was very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay

This property was a very comfortable overnight stay and we could have easily stayed another night. The kids enjoyed the large grounds and open space. A highlight was venturing down the garden to see the alpacas, chickens and hearing all the birds in the trees. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stop over and explore the area more.

we just got back from a long weekend at Greystone Grange and it was absolutely fantastic! we were 2 adults and two kids under 3. the property is beautiful, with a fireplace, a kids room with some toys, little kitchen area, everything we needed. Glenys provides fresh eggs and the best baked bread for breakfast, as well a a fully stocked fridge with milk and juice, even home made muffins! the surroundings are lovely, lots of grass for the kids to run around, beautiful farm, llamas and more. Glenys was responsive and accommodating. we had the best time and are sure to come back! highly reccomend
