About this apartment rental

Enjoy a fabulous balcony view from this newly renovated villa. There is Sony HDTV in the living room. The bathroom features a new large shower, granite countertop and entrances from both bedroom and living room. The kitchen boasts everything one might need for a weekend or for a month's stay. There is a table for four on the balcony plus four other comfortable chairs enjoy a relaxing view of the lake.

Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste.
The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake.
There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery!
When you rent from North Shore Vacation Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each of our condo's come with a fully equipped kitchen and linens for the bedrooms and baths. Covered Parking is on ground level with reserved parking, and additional "guest" spaces as well. There are 5 elevators on property.
We provide our guests with check in information prior to their arrival, which will include the front gate code, assigned parking spaces, directions to the condo and door code for added convenience. (Front Desk Check In is not required, and allows guests to arrive and access condo late at night if necessary).

All i can say about this property is...WOWWW!! My family of 4 were amazed at the entrance and just all around the entire property period. Deer are everywhere and super friendly deer waiting to be fed :) I have to say that this is the perfect location and the room felt so comfy and clean. Yea there was a few spiderwebs but that gave it a more vintage feel and dodnt mind it at all! We always struggle to find a nice spot over viewing the lake but not no more. Will always return to the Island for a beautiful and comfortable stay. Batteries went out for the tv remote called the property manager and was really quick to send for extras to be taken up to us immediately but thankfully we found extras:) Thanks again for a wonderful stay~ Sanchez Family

The view of Lake Travis is spectacular. Condo needs more contemporary furnishings, but is comfortable. Full kitchen is well appointed. Complex is quiet, outdoor pools were clean and inviting.

We enjoyed the tranquility of Lake Travis from the balcony view. It was just so peaceful. We also enjoyed all the deer that were walking around the area.

This was my second time staying on The Island, and I enjoyed as if it were my first. The only issue we had was that the amount of active spider webs on the balcony made us a little uncomfortable. Other than that, amazing serene getaway.

This place had a great view of the lake. As soon as we walked in and tried to get settled in we noticed that it had 2 twin beds (in one of the pics it seems like there's a queen bed). It wasn't a big deal since we were just there to sleep. That night we saw a roach and reached out to front desk about it. Also the toiletries were half full which we notified front desk as well. We were told someone will be up in the morning to clean and restock everything. When we got back that day we say hand soap put on a counter along side with a sponge and trash bags. All they did was walk into the condo and took stuff from under the sink to put on counter. Dead roach was still on floor and toiletries weren't replaced.

We stayed for 7 nights in a one bedroom condo overlooking Lake Travis. The condo was lovely and the complex was amazing. The view out the condo window and balcony were spectacular. The amenities were good. The pool outside our condo was nice but needed cleaning and the hot tub was not usable. Our last night there we ate at the restaurant in the complex. After we finally found the restaurant, the food was quite good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The kids got to feed deer, we got to wake up to a beautiful view, and catch amazing sunset. About 30 min.- An hour away from several cool spots, and the drives around that area are gorgeous. Looking forward to the next opportunity we get to travel back.

Condo has an absolutely amazing view of both the pool and lake!! 2 twin beds worked well for staying with a friend but not ideal if I would have brought my spouse. Kitchen could have used a few more basic supplies such as a kettle for boiling water, tea pot, plastic storage containers for food or at least plastic wrap, foil, etc. Beautiful place and location!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at The Island on Lake Travis.. Everything was wonderful there except the condo smelled stuffing and old. The condo owner needs to upgrade the comforters pillows and sheets. Once I disinfect the room(because of COVID) put my own sheets on the bed. Sprayed a lot of room fragrance everything was perfect. We will visit again. The properties is very beautiful. I feel the island is a hidden treasure here in Texas.

The overall place was nice. Our condo was nice, but could use some overall updating and a deep clean. The view from the balcony overlooks the pool and lake and was nice. We enjoyed feeding the deer nightly. We enjoyed the beautiful lake- water was so clear. We enjoyed cliff jumping at the property, near the tennis courts.

Everything was wonderful. If you like eggs for breakfast, pick some up at the grocery store. Places that are only a few miles away on Google Maps may take an hour to get there on the roads.

Fantastic pool and hot tub! I like to sit on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air and watch those in the pool and boats on the lake.....so relaxing! My grandson loves to fish and even catches some!
