Found a little slice of heaven on earth. Absolutely incredible place. We’ve probably never stayed anywhere where the staff seemed as happy to be there as the guests.

Ein unvergessliches Safari-Abenteuer mit hohem Komfort!

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise ist alles wie ein traumhaftes Abenteuer gestaltet. Die Tour Guides und das weitere Personal sind sehr kompetent und außerordentlich freundlich. Auch die Zelt-Lodge war Luxus pur, zudem konnte man nachts die Löwen brüllen hören. Mein Mann und ich haben drei unvergessliche Tage dort verbracht und werden sicherlich in ein paar Jahren wieder kommen!

Sehr zu empfehlen, der Park ist nicht zu ,es passt einfach alles

Das Konzept basiert auf der Vision nachhaltig mit der Natur im Einklang, Gästen die Tierwelt und Fauna näher zu bringen und bezieht auch das Personal ein, das ausgebildet und gefördert wird. Die Guides waren unglaublich kompetent, und super nett, die Touren im Park (abends und frühmorgens) sehr beeindruckend. Wir haben viele Tiere gesehen, 3 Rhinos auf einmal, Giraffen, verschiedene Arten von Antilopen, Löwen, Zebras. Schon von der Lodge aus, sahen wir bei Ankunft die Antilopen grasen, Alles in allem ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, zudem auch das Essen hervorragend ist und die Gastgeber unglaublich nett!!! Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Staff was super nice, gods location with nice rooms and safaris. Would recommend! But book it via their website to get better deals.

Einzigartig und herzlich

Eine wunderschöne, sehr individuelle Unterkunft mit sehr herzlichen Gastgebern. Es war alles bestens. Die Zimmer groß, sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber, das Essen sehr gut, das Personal äußerst zuvorkommend, es hat an Lichts gefehlt. Es wird viel wert auf schöne, liebevolle Details gelegt. Einfach ein wunderbarer Ort und uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Wunderbares und sehr persönliches Erlebnis inmitten der Natur.

Wir sind direkt sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Diese besondere Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit war von allen im Team den gesamten Aufenthalt über zu spüren. Die Athmosphäre ist sehr persönlich und man bemüht sich um jeden einzelnen Gast. Das war sehr schön. Besonderes Highlight waren natürlich die beiden Safaris und die Wanderung. Wir danken unserem Guide Marc herzlich für die wunderbaren Momente, die wir hautnah bei den Tieren erleben durften!

Ein besonderer Luxus den man sich auf der Garden Route für ein oder zwei Nächte gönnen sollte

Eine sehr exklusive, wunderschöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wir haben ein Game Drive am Abend gebucht. Unser Guide Jarred, ist ein sehr engagierter, junger Ranger, der das Game Drive mit seiner ruhigen Art und seinem Fachwissen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht hat.

Super schön, aber eine Nacht ist ausreichend.

Sauber. Gutes Equipment. Genug Platz. Angebot an Speisen und Getränken, höchste Qualität der Lebensmittel und wirklich tolle Küche.

Das Personal ist super nett. Aber wir hatten oft das Gefühl, dass uns immer wieder dinge (zusätzliche Safaris) verkauft werden wollen. Beispielsweise haben wir in der Früh eine tolle Safari Tour gemacht und es wurde uns am gleichen Tag noch 2-3x angeboten, abends oder am nächsten morgen noch eine zu machen. Hier würden wir uns wünschen, dass es nicht so verkäuferisch rüberkommt. Würde diese Unterkunft eher Leuten zwischen 50-70 empfehlen. Für jüngere ist etwas wenig geboten. Für zwei Nächte im Wert von 800€ wäre es toll, wenn zB eine Safari oder ein Abendessen inklusive wäre.

Familiengeführtes 5-Sterne Safari-Camp! Toller Aufenthalt

Wir wurden von allen sehr sehr herzlich empfangen und begrüßt. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen waren unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten während des Aufenthaltes (kleines Gastgeschenk im Zimmer etc) und die Liebe zum Detail und für die Natur haben den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Die Fahrt im Jeep am Nachmittag war toll, sehr interessant, wir konnten viele Tiere sehen und einiges über das Camp erfahren. Die Ausstattung und Essen waren mehr als sehr gut! Wir kommen wieder :)

Es war eine einmalige und unvergessliche Zeit und Erfahrung.

Wir haben uns von der Ankunft an wie zuhause gefühlt. Die liebe für‘s Detail, die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten sowie die Lodge und das Personal insgesamt kann man nicht hoch genug loben. Alles ist sauber, alle sind freundlich und unser Fahrer Josh hat unsere Fahrten auf dem Gelände zu einem einmaligen Erlebnis mit vielen Informationen und Insights zur Pflanzen- und Tierwelt gemacht. Die Lodge ist mit ca. 5 Jahren noch recht jung, hat aber jedes Lob mehr als verdient und wird weiter beständig wachsen (Areal und Tierwelt). Wir können jedem einen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen und sind dankbar für die wunderbare Zeit, die wir mit dem Team vor Ort verbringen konnten und für die Gastfreundlichkeit sowie das wahnsinnig gute Essen, das wir erleben duften.

Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Absolutely fantastic - I could not recommended more.

The Garden Route Safari Camp was the highlight of our holiday. The place is an absolute gem on the Garden Route. It feels secluded and yet it is very close to the coast - very easy to get to and around. The staff are by far the friendliest of anywhere we've stayed. They have a genuine care for their guests and making their experience individually special. A highlight for me was a horseback safari which was once in a lifetime. Their knowledge of the environment is incredible and they are so enthusiastic to share with you and teach you amazing facts about the animals and the plants surrounding you. The rooms were beautiful, peaceful and yet you can hear the sound of lions! There is a delicious 3 course meal on offer every night and lovely wine. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

It´s a family hotel and it is absoutely amazing what those guys are doing there They are all so warm and friendly it fells like you always knew them. They call you by your name from the very start and everything is flawless. From the food to the ammenities. Then there are the safaris, lot of wildlife to see. We saw some stuff (no spoillers here) we did not see even in Krugger The rangers are awesome too. Could not recomend more.

I think the best experience on our trip to western cape. Everything from the beginning to the end was just perfect. Personel was so kind and helpful. Our guide Mark was the best guide we have had in our life :). Greetings to Mark !! he is so passionate about his job and so joyful. Whole place is just amazing its just difficult to describe our happines while we where there. Luxury tent was simply amazing. Very spacious and nice. I totally recommend having 2 safaris early morning and evening. We went on both and both were simply outstanding. Mark was entertaining us through whole safari and we had a evening tea with rusks about 20 meteres from rhinos. That was such an amazing experience. We have seen so many animals. Totally recommend to everyone i think it is a must :)

Lovely and relaxing!

The staff were friendly, the accommodation was spacious and bright and the location was beautiful. The game drives were so enjoyable, and Mark was a great guide! The drinks and snacks on the games drives were delicious, as was the breakfast which was included in the price. We loved that the land is currently being “re-wilded” and are looking forward to visiting again in a few years to see the progress that has been made!

The dinner was pricey at R430 pp and the quality didn’t quite justify the additional cost. With no other dining options available without leaving the lodge, I do feel this could be improved. My husband ordered the ice cream and chocolate sauce twice for dessert and on both occasions the dessert arrived without any chocolate sauce - he had to ask specially for the sauce which is very odd for a meal of this price. Also, venison and chicken were pretty much the only meats on offer at every dinner and some variety in terms of meat would have been great.
