Clean, quiet, and very comfortable. But our first night there, we had to find a market to buy hand soap for the bathroom, washcloths, dish sponge to wash our dishes, and coffee for the kurig. A few little details like that would have made this a much better review.

The property was clean with an adequately stocked kitchen if you like to cook when traveling, but was not as depicted in the photos. In the room with the twin bunk bed, the bottom bunk had a full/queen mattress that hung over the edge, totally not able to be slept on. No air conditioning in that room and too hot to sleep. We had to pull the mattress off the lower twin bunk and lay it on the floor of the other bedroom that had a wall air conditioner in it. Both beds were not comfortable to us. The property itself is an older property that is a bit run down. We didn’t try using the jetted tub, but it looked like it didn’t work anyway with the control knobs missing. There was mention I the instruction manual to keep shower curtain completely in the tub when showering because water will leak to the downstairs unit if you don’t. The location was okay, but the neighborhood is run down and a little sketchy. Sad to say, but we won’t be staying there again.

We rented this property because of its location to the Kitsap County fair and rodeo which were great.
This rental had positive and negative aspects.
The positives: we had to change our dates and host was very accommodating. They responded quickly both times during our stay when we had questions. There were plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen and bath items. Quiet location.
The negatives: this is a duplex and there is a tenant downstairs with a dog barking loudly and often. We unfortunately met her our third day when we were in the cute backyard doing a craft with our granddaughters on a beautiful afternoon. She announced we were not allowed to use the driveway gate to access the backyard. Not a pleasant person, We only did because the hall doorway had a deadbolt that we could not open. The host was surprised at her attitude. After much effort we got the deadbolt to move and left it unlocked for our stay as it was a safety issue not to be able to escape in an emergency from the bedrooms thru that door. She also had a guest arrive at 12:10 am our last night loudly banging on the door and shouting for the tenant. It woke me.
Wi fi was great the first 2 days. The last two days it dropped consistently. Also, the two-window a/c units did not blow cool. The house stayed hot. It was 78 degrees at 4 am. There were a few other items we included on a list for the cleaner. We would stay again and bring fans. Hopefully the nasty tenant downstairs will be gone.

Was a little disappointed with the bed situation in the second bedroom. The bed frames were for single beds only and they had full/queen size mattresses on them.

This was a nice location in Bremerton. We stayed one night on our way through from the Olympic Peninsula to Seattle. It is an older home so I was expecting some things to be dated. However, there were ants in the bathroom and bedrooms. We did one load of laundry but the dryer did not get the clothes dry. We had to run 5 full hour cycles to get them close enough to pack. We didn't expect that so we ran the dryer until 1:00 in the morning and then another couple of hours in the morning. The electrical outlet in the back bedroom stopped working during the evening. Overall, this wasn't our favorite place. It was a good location, though.

Single window AC until in living room so bedrooms are warm. Master has ceiling fan which helps. Bunk room had floor fan which helped. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice that we could all sit and talk in living room and also all eat around one table

The house was built in 1916 and has a lot of strange features which we found interesting. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the old architecture. The neighborhood was quiet which was nice and not on a main road. We had some concerns about housekeeping. They allowed my son's two dogs which was amazing and made it so much easier that a hotel.

As per other reviews, the place could have done with a little more cleaning. Other than that, the location was good, the anenities were adequate for our needs.

I liked the place and I liked the neighborhood. I walked my little dog around and it was safe and fairly flat.
If I had to make one improvement, I'd add a make-up mirror in the bathroom. The one above the sink is too far away and the one in the bedroom is too dark. A separate one would be ideal!

A nice little home, which met my families needs. Unfortunately the house was not ready at 4pm for check in. No cleaning had been performed, we had to wait for cleaning, and we’re not able to get settled and eat until 7pm. This spoiled the evening and my family’s schedule.

This house was good for my family to stay at. It is a little older of a house, so no AC in the house, but we made it work. Very glad that it cooled down at night! The location was convenient to everything, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. I think it would be a perfect place for a longer stay.

Very cute old style house. There is a bottom apartment that was rented out separately. A few down sides were the tub jets triggered the breaker to the kitchen causing loss of power to the oven and microwave. And we had an ant issue. Internet is spotty.

My wife and I lived here for 3 months for a travel job. The owners were quick to reply with any minor issues that we had. We felt safe in the home and the neighborhood parking was easy and convenient. The renters that lived downstairs were quiet and nice. Everything worked fine, the home is just a little older. The home needed a good thorough cleaning, you could tell others had lived there prior to us. Otherwise a very nice home. We would recommend to others. Just an FYI. The side drive way is for the basement occupants, and the front lot is for the upstairs. The back patio was available for use but it is shared. Bremerton is a good location to be close to really great outdoor adventures.

Nice and clean, needs mixing bowls and larger skillet. If more that 2 -3 people stay you will need to wash towels and dishes daily. Very close to Naval base.

This place looked great in pictures but was in a disappointing condition when we arrived. The kitchen sink waste line dripped into a pan in the cabinet; the shower faucet wouldn't fully turn on; there were ants and ant traps all over the house; furniture trapped a bunch of animal hairs and whatever else (especially the couch); the whole house smelled strongly of air freshener and had to be aired out... except that a number of the windows were missing screens, so we couldn't actually open the whole house. The bedding was pretty uncomfortable and most of the appliances were cheap and not very useful. I thought--being only a few blocks from the ferry--that this location would all right but here again I was disappointed. Most of the neighborhood between this house and downtown Bremerton is pretty sketch and there were pellet gun holes in the front windows. Also, the back door to this unit connects directly to the unit downstairs with only a flimsy door handle lock.In general, with some repairs, more thorough cleaning, and some nicer amenities, this place could be great.
