About this house rental
This cozy 2 bedroom house is renovated. You will enjoy the mid/south-island location close 2 many shops & restaurants. U can easily walk to Redfern Village & other entertainment. King & Queen beds & the living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. Comes w/ new furnishings & business class wifi. Just outside the house is a huge private fenced backyard for great outdoor living. 4 bikes for an additional fee. Does NOT have a grill. NO PETS ALLOWED.
This is the main, private house that is attached to a cute apartment (kind of like a townhouse). There is NOT any door connecting the two units. They are COMPLETELY separate.
This house is in a great location on Demere Rd. Road noise may be heard during your stay. However, the speed limit is slow enough for golf carts, so no fast traffic.
Close to Redfern Village, short drive to beach and pier.
Has full size washer dryer in unit.

We went for a short vacation the place was awesome clean had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves.We didn’t have to bring dishes mor did we have to bring our own bath towels or washcloths everything was provided even had washer and refer and dishwasher.I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay at this house was great. The owner was very prompt in responding and gave me all the details for the checkin, even has a small YouTube video on how to get to the location. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was simple and easy about our whole reserving and check in/out process staying here. The house was beautifully furnished, but felt family friendly enough that we felt extremely comfortable staying with kids. The beds were comfortable, and the whole house was neat and clean upon arrival. The private backyard was a nice feature and we enjoyed using the bikes.

We are four senior adults and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. David is a great host and the house is very comfortable with just about everything you need. The winn Dixie is only a few blacks away and the mid islands location is perfect.

The house was very clean and provided everything you need for your stay. The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly. The pool they mention in the listing was not in walking distance, but only a 7 min drive and we spent everyday there. The location of being mid-island was still very close to downtown and a short drive. Plenty of shopping/restaurants in walking/biking distance. We would definitely stay here or at other properties the owner has.

The home was very clean with comfortable furnishings and ample space. The owner was very responsive to questions and concerns. The home was in walking distance to a store, coffee shop and bakery. The title “Beach House “ was misleading. Getting to the beach involved a drive in very busy traffic to the beach access where parking was a bit of a hassle. We didn’t use the bikes that were offered because they looked dated and in poor condition. The biggest downside of this property was the traffic noise. Earplugs were required to sleep in the bedroom facing the street. The living room noise was constant. A city person might be able to ignore the traffic, but for us it was a dealbreaker for an otherwise nice place.

It's a nice clean rental with modern appliances and it is well equipped. Convenient location.
The only downside is that there really isn't anywhere convenient to park to unload luggage and stuff. The parking is way around to the side and you either have to bring everything through the yard (no path) or around to the front of the house. And since the "back door" is a sliding glass door you pretty much have to go all the way around to the front with all your stuff or go through a muddy back yard area (again, no path and no doormats)
A path and a locking back door would add a lot. Otherwise, nice place

I rented this property for my mom and three friends. They are all over the age of 65. It was a clean, spacious unit without stairs. This was important to them. The location was great! The property manager was quick to respond to anything and the vacation was easy and fun. The description of the property was as expected. I would rent this for them again!

Awesome place, huge backyard and comfy bed. The unit is clean and everything promised in the ad. Easy check-in. I will be back for my tournament next year and this is where I will stay.

This apartment is more like a home, since it actually is 2/3rds of a house. It is very spacious with a big kitchen. The bedrooms are very nice with comfortable beds. Everything seems new and clean. Large TV with Hulu streaming. It is right on the street so the smaller bedroom has highway noise. We used a sound machine so were fine.

Great location for access to things on the island and east commute to Brunswick. I wish we would have utilized the large backyard more! Not sure if and when we will make it back to Georgia but I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean. Spacious rooms, kitchen and bathrooms newly remodeled. Comfy beds. Only problem we had was with the keypad while locking and unlocking the door.

Property overall was nice. Some improvements can be done to update. I didn’t realize there is a smaller unit connected that is also rented. Property manager was extremely prompt and friendly in response to our messages.

I'll start by saying the price and communication with the owner were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It's a nice place and your are only a small drive from most everything on St Simmons. The home is a split unit and it is very close to a very busy road. You will probably hear footsteps and movement if the other side of the house is rented and the road noise in the front of the house is loud. Sound dampening curtains/blinds would help alleviate it. But those are the only issues we had and it did not take away from the overall stay. I only mention them so others aren't taken by surprise. Great stay and again great communication with the owner!

There needs to be a place to park near the entrance to the house. If it is raining when you check in or out having to walk out the front door and all the way around back you will get soaking wet.

My family and I came to visit and we were so impressed by the cleanliness and how kid friendly it was for toddlers and infants. The host was so quick to respond always. We will definitely be returning to this property

The property was clean and location was very convenient to all the stores and restaurants. Unfortunately had to cut our time there short and was unable to do the things we had planned to do. Will be planning to go back in the near future hopefully.

Everything was great. We had a couple of hiccups, but everything was resolved very quickly.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location means you are no more than 10 minutes from everything on the island. We were not bothered by road noise at all. The house was nicely updated and was one of the cleanest and best stocked vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. I always look in drawers and in cabinets and this place was spotless! Everything we needed to know was clearly communicated and easy to follow. It was everything our family needed! Highly recommend!

The area is fine and perfectly safe. The house is super cute and clean and has everything you need. The owner is very responsive and helpful. It is located on a fairly busy road. That was not a problem for us whatsoever, but I wouldn’t rate the location as five stars. I would rate everything else about the property as five stars. Certainly the cost of rent was very fair for the location.

Our host could not have been more accommodating.
The house was just as described. We were a group of women ranging in age and we all felt safe and cozy.
The master bedroom has the most amazing bed. We had the best night sleep. The house was so clean and inviting and decorated like a lovely island getaway.
The housekeeping made the cutest flowers out of the hand towels and bathroom paper.
We had complimentary coffee which made our mornings so caffeinated!!! The location was perfect for us as it was far enough away from the hustle for us to feel comfortable. Other reviewers said the traffic was heard so we purchased a fan to run for white noise. The noise was minimal and certainly didn’t take away from our perfect vacation spot. We loved the Hulu account available for us and watched old reruns of Friends and Designing Women. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for us and we loved the cozy setup. There were great bikes for us to use and an amazing backyard. The back gate has a great secure lock and made us feel so comfortable. The back yard was perfectly maintained. The front of the house is adorable and well looked after. We loved having parking on the side designated just for us. There is an adjoining apartment but it’s not part of the rental. We were so sad to say goodbye to our warm and inviting beach house.
We are already planning our trip next year.
