This property is extraordinarily peaceful setting, where utmost privacy is guaranteed, will probably make you reluctant to venture far afield! However, if you want to explore the natural and historic attractions of this scenically outstanding area, this location is an ideally strategic base.
The seashore is about 5 minutes by car.
Lerici and San Terenzo, now sophisticated luxury resorts, with 3 kms away. The panoramic coastal road leading to the residence winds its way up through luxuriant, seductively aromatic Mediterranean maquis vegetation.
Lerici and San Terenzo are the nearest villages where you can find restaurants, bars and grocery shops. Portovenere and the Cinque Terre villages; while further inland you can enjoy cultural sightseeing in the ancient Roman town of Luni, with its fascinating museum. The world-famous Carrara quarries, source of all Michelangelo's superb white marble, are also situated in the near vicinity.

Objekt in traumhafter Lage über Lerici mit Blick über die gesamte Bucht. Leider ist die Zimmeraufteilung für 6 Personen ungeeignet. 2 der 3 Schlafzimmer sind ohne trennende Türen, so dass man als zusammenreisende Paare keine Privatsphäre hat. Für Kinder wegen fehlendem Treppengeländer von Schlafzimmer zu Wohnzimmer nicht geeignet.. Außenbereich mit zu wenig Mobiliar und Schattenplätzen für 6 Personen, für 4 gerade so eben. Ansonsten schön eingerichtet mit zweckmäßiger Küche.

This house is lovely. It is nice furnitured and modern. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The landlord is very kind and friendly. We had a great holiday.

Great views but lacking essentials

This property is beautifully located with great views and was very clean. However, it is impossible to find this house because it is very hidden and there is no address on the road. The contact number directed us to a person who did not speak English. She had to meet us in town and we had to follow her there to find the place. You definitely need car here. The driveway is extremely steep and the house is well off the road. Communication with the contact person was extremely difficult, if not impossible, and there was no welcome package to help us orientate to the property and the area. We did not know what to do with the garbage and the recycling, which piled up during the week. We ended up leaving it downstairs in the laundry room. We had to ask for a kitchen garbage container and there was only one bag that fit the garbage container that they left us for the whole week. The two upstairs rooms had no doors on them. Since we were sharing with another couple, we had to devise a privacy system using the rolling coat hanger and the shower curtain ( which was not installed so there was not curtain in the shower). There was also no door on the bathroom in the larger room. The closet in the smaller upstairs room could not be used because the door could not be opened because the bed was in the way, so guests had to live out of their suitcases for the week instead of unpacking. During the first two nights, the people below let the dog out in the middle of the night. The dog barked and barked, so our sleep was disturbed. We complained and the people did not let the dog out in the middle of the night for the rest of the week. We had to buy our own toilet paper and bath soap as there was only a half roll in each bathroom and no soap was provided. I would not recommend this place unless the owners put a little more effort into making sure the property could be more easily found, that the contact person spoke a language that encouraged communication and some basic supplies were provided.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful villa in Lerici. The view from all the swimming pool was absolutely stunning. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we loved the swimming pool. Higly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in Lerici, the house is really cosy and well equiped (and bigger than it looks on the photo) with a nice garden too and a magnificent swimming pool with a spectacular sea view on Gulf of Poets. The weather was gorgeous and there's so much to do and see in the area! Great restaurants, Beach clubs, Pubs, Music, Snorkeling, DIving and much much more. :)

We spent 10 days at the villa in Lerici with childhood friends and had the most incredible experience! We have traveled worldwide for 20 plus years and we keep finding ourselves telling people that this was the most beautiful, serene, relaxing and magical spot that we have ever experienced! We had a car (recommended) and took a number of different tours of highlights of the area, but when we returned to the villa we would always say, "It's even more beautiful here!" A ferry that takes you to Cinque Terre is a 15 minute walk away, as is the quaint little village of Lerici. As fantastic as the pictures are really are, they still do not do justice to the overall feeling you have when you see the wide, sweeping view of the city, castle and bay below you. Our friend kept saying, "Just pinch me" .....like she was caught up in a fairy tale! Our host, Massimo made sure that everything was perfect from the rooms to the landscaping to the pool. Everything was spotless! Never have we been treated with such hospitality! I could go on and on, but I promise that your stay at IL GOLFO RETREATS will be a memory for a lifetime!

We had the most wonderful time in Lerici and simply LOVED Il golfo Retreats. The property has a stunning view. We enjoyed the sunset nightly sipping prosecco by the pool; a fabulous end to each day! We even cooked dining poolside while watching the sunset and the twinkly stars and bright moon emerge! Cleanliness is always our main focus and this rental surpassed our standards.

New, beautiful, clean and well furnished. There is absolutely nothing missing (there is washing machine, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, TV, etc.). Beautiful also the garden, very well cared for, with large gazebo and tables with umbrellas to even dine outside. The managers are very nice. Highly recommended !!! Pat

We loved staying at IL GOLFO. The small pool overlooking the gulf is definitely lovely and very romantic! The house is far enough away to be private but close enough to visit Lerici and surroundings. Massimo Conti was very helpful and very responsive. We stayed with 6 people and the house was great and comfortable for all! We highly recommend it!

We stayed at the Villa Il Golfo for a full week in early September. In addition to my husband & I, we had our 2 kids (8 & 4). This is an absolutely gorgeous villa in a picturesque little village with breathtaking view on Gulf of Poets. There are 3 bedrooms (the master bedroom especialy is very spacious and perfect in every little detail), 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchenette2 with everything you need, a lovely bathtub and plenty of outdoor space to lounge, eat meals in or simply enjoy the fresh air. Housekeeping services are included. In addition, the concierge offered by Villas Retreats can arrange a variety of additional services like massages in the villa, restaurant reservations and boat cruises from the nearby ports. I cannot say enough nice things about Massimo Conti ! We arrived much earlier than the check-in time, but he went out of her way to get the villa ready for us quickly after the previous occupants had checked out, understanding that we had little kids with us. He was always available, very responsive and incredibly helpful. He reconfirmed dinner reservations and even snagged us a private boat cruise at the last minute at a good price. The location is really what makes this villa worth it. The peace and quiet of the location is interrupted only by church bells from the many beautiful churches in the village. We can't wait to come back !

We have never seen such a beautiful location. The water at Eco del Mare Fiascherino is crystal clear and the people are friendly. The people we dealt with a Villas Retreats were very nice. They arranged our stay taking care of all. We loved our trip and would go back in a heart beat. Fantastic sea view indeed!!
