This property is even better than we anticipated. The apartment is equipped with anything and everything you need for a short or long stay. It is located in a quiet area, but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the train station.

Beautiful, modern home built against the old town wall. Lots of room to stretch out. Easy to walk to anything you might need! We had a fabulous time!

Boppard was a nice surprise. It is a quaint, charming, comfortable village and is a great home base for exploring the upper middle Rhine valley. Andrea is a wonderful host with great communication. The home is just as described. It is spacious, clean, and well functioning. Yes, there are stairs, and yes, you hear trains, but we slept great and were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching local life go by. We also enjoyed walking through town and along the river all hours of the day and night. The local residents were fun and kind. The train station is an easy walk from the home.

Spacious and extremely comfortable with lots of extra facilities that we did not use - jacuzzi and sauna.

Andrea‘s place is really unique and a great way to introduce you to Boppard. It’s got Roman walls inside that set the mood for this Rhine town and it’s got huge rooms, including a jacuzzi tub and two outside sitting areas. Immaculately clean, and Andrea is easy to reach. Great location, too.

This property is in an excellent location for exploring all the Rhine has to offer
We did day trips by car and boat tours up and down the river. The town of Boppard is lovely. Great atmosphere, lots to eat and do
The villa was excellent, everything you need. Air conditioning could be required if always as hot as when we were there.

Very nice appartment, good host. The appartment was clean and had everything one can imagine for having a great holiday. Only remark is the road and the railway nearby (behind the thick walls). For the rest: super!

The property was really very nice with excellent access to the centre of Boppard where there are plenty of places to eat and things to see.
The property had everything that you could need for relaxing stay in the Rhine Valley.

Innovative Property
Great location, friendly and attentive owner. Property covers three floors so two flights of stairs. Bathroom on ground and second floor. No bathroom on third floor bedroom. Not a problem for us but could be for younger or older people.

Villa-stay with all amenities
The house has everything you need and is very luxurious. Everything is very clean and well kept. And all is as is described. Andrea welcomed us warmly and showed us the house and explained how everything worked. It is a perfect place to stay longer and to explore the region. We stayed here in a wet weekend, but with sunny days you can also enjoy several places outside. You can park the car nearby in the parking garage (free) on the other side of the railway (3 min walk). The only thing we had to get used to was the sound of the trains, since the house is next to the railway. Boppard is a nice cozy town. It was clearly off season (end of February). But the nature and surroundings have a lot to offer.

My wife, her sister and our brother in law thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during mid-late September 2019. It is a well designed home and includes many "little things" (especially in the kitchen and WC's) that are not always offered or provided to the renter during VRBO type stays. Andrea waited patiently at the house for us and gave us a very good intro to the house when we arrived. Parking is interesting but very convenient five minutes away.
The location of the house is great - within a two minute walk into town for bakeries, groceries, etc. Boppard is a great place to use as a base while exploring the Rheine between Koblenz and Bacharach (or further). We used the train to ride down to Bacharach for touring with a KD cruise on the river back to Boppard with many castles on both sides of the river to see during the ride.
I strongly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit this area. .

Situated right in the middle of the old town so good to walk around in the evening. Heaps of restaurants to choice from. Andrea the host was very communicative and helpful. Great place to stay for exploring the area including the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. Highly recommend staying at this apartment.

Villa Bodabrica was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the beautiful Rhine and Mosel Rivers in Germany! The location was perfect. We were only about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Visiting towns along the Rhine and Mosel was very easy by train. We visited Marks Castle, Burg Eltz (near Moselkern, so that involves a little more walking), and Rheinfels Castle. We also did a boat trip from Bacharach to Boppard on the KD line. Very nice! There is a small ferry in Boppard that crosses the river every 15 minutes or so. Very easy to get around without a car. Boppard was a lovely town to stay in, very clean and easy to navigate. We felt very safe and comfortable there. Andrea’s house is amazing!! It is so cool that that the house is built right into some of the old stone walls of town! The house is very well equipped with just about everything we could possibly need when traveling. We especially liked that there was a washer and dryer (even though we never could figure out how to work the dryer! I think the language barrier was the culprit in not figuring out how to get to the dryer cycle). Luckily, we had nice weather and could hang our clothes out! The bed was quite comfy, and the patio was an extra added bonus. It was a lovely place to end our somewhat chaotic days of touring. We loved our stay there, and would definitely stay again! Thank you, Andrea!

Andrea is a terrific host and made sure our stay was comfortable. The home is so unique and being able to sleep, live and shower next to ancient ruins is an experience no one should pass up. The street is quiet, while there are trains very close, they didn't bother us.

Many amenities, well kept and very clean, close to the river, restaurants, grocery shopping, and public transportation. Frau Junker was very helpful and accommodating. Was a very nice stay in a spacious house. We wish the weather would have been nicer to take advantage of the beautiful patio and 2nd story balcony.

A great place to stay when visiting the Rhein. Shopping and bakery near by, parking only a 2 min. Walk. The home was warm and comfortable with all required dishes, and utensils. We would highly recommend this property for free be persons or less.

A place you would want to return to...amazing....
The house is a beautiful, modern, open-concept home…the medieval wall throughout the house is amazing, and the large back patio area is very private. Very clean, all the amenities that you would need. Andrea is very nice, and very helpful.
The location is excellent for exploring the large cities and small quaint historical towns from Trier to Frankfurt, Dusseldorf to Stuttgart. We stayed at Villa Bodobrica for 19 days, and have already recommend the house to others and would stay again. Though the train tracks are close, we did not find the noise an issue as others have indicated.
For groceries and wine/beer, both Reve (large with butcher, excellent cheese selection and bakery) and Penny are within walking distance, as are bakeries, restaurants, as is the whole town. Drive 5 minutes south to an Aldi's, a discount type grocery store; they carry a very good French Chardonnay from Pay d’Or for 2 euros. We never drink Riesling in Canada, but found the dry (trocken) German Riesling excellent.
A must see is the small village of Bacharach, on the Rhine. The building lining the cobblestone main street are probably close to two hundred years old, have been beautifully restored and is the prettiest village we saw, with lots of small shops, wineries and restaurants. They also have a castle that is now a Youth Hostel, it is worth the climb.
We learnt minimum German words and had no problem communicating.
Thank you Andrea for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back.

Beautiful home in a cute area!
Had communication issues with Andrea only because we had a 3 hour flight delay & a (highly unusual) 1 hour train delay. Found the house fairly clean,( open wine bottle in the fridge, a few mystery items in the freezer). Had to buy toilet paper & paper towels. AC is a portable unit. Plenty of kitchen items, great location, friendly neighbor. Would stay again if I ever return to Boppard.

Great house, location and host
Incredible 3-floor home built into roman walls. Two outdoor areas. Beyond fully equipped. Comfortable, relaxing and unique. Andrea is a generous and thoughtful host. Touring Rhine and Mosel on train and boat very convenient from Boppard. Easy Frankfurt airport connection via train. Amazing get away spot for a family. Thanks Andrea for sharing your family's home!

Perfect location! Wonderful Stay!!! Can't wait to go back!!!
We enjoyed our stay so much. Andrea was the best host!
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and easy!
The location was perfect so close to the Rhine River, so many bakeries and shops to explore. It was so easy for us to travel from the train station to any direction during our stay.
The house has everything you could possible need, beds were very comfortable.

Excellent!
The phrase one-of-a-kind is used much too often. However, to accurately describe this house it must be utilized. This is truly a unique place. One side of the home is built against a centuries-old wall. The ten foot thick 25 foot tall wall was originally used to protect the town of Boppard against invaders. Now it forms one of the walls of Andrea's living room, the master bedroom, the downstairs bathroom and one if the staircases. It is masterfully blended into the architectural design. The house itself is great. The kitchen has all the necessary tools and utensils to cook, eat, make coffee, more. Andrea's home is spotlessly clean.
There's a Jacuzzi, a sauna, 2 decks and a large patio. The patio also features the aforementioned wall as one of its borders.
The house location in Boppard is perfect. Everything is within a short easy walk -- the town center, the RR station, grocery store, river tours, restaurants, shopping, etc. Andrea was very helpful. She answered all our questions quickly and accurately via email. She met us at the house, gave us a tour, and allowed us to quickly get started on our vacation. We highly recommend Andrea and her Boppard home.

Great apartment
Great apartment in great location. Andrea is very helpful and meets you at the property on arrival to show you everything. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable . Very close to all amenities supermarket , restaurants etc . The only thing i would mention is there are alot of stairs in the apartment which didnt bother us. Boppard is a great little town very central to explore thank you Andrea Regards Kate

Convenient location to down town. Very nice accommodation with lots of extra amenities.
Villa Bobodrica is coveniently located, an easy walk to down town. Parking is near by and free. The amenities are many, the house is very well equipped and very clean. Andrea is very pleasant to deal with and goes the extra mile for you. Her English is very good which made communication very easy for us. It was a great week in a beautiful place with a wonderful host.
Thanks Andrea!

Class of its own
Villa Bodobrica in Boppard does not disappoint it truly is a 5 star property and a great place to stay close to the centre of Boppard and free parking for the car 2 minutes walk from the house. It sits against the old roman wall but is totally modern, you walk in the door to a house that is very light with plenty of windows with all mod cons to make your stay very comfortable. There is a large lounge that goes out through patio doors to a patio with BBQ. But if you go up the stairs half way up is another door which also goes out to a balcony patio which we found a great place to sit and take coffee. Then on the first level you have the first bedroom also a bathroom with a large Jacuzzi bath which was a nice luxury and also a sauna . Then up to the top level was another bedroom with a waterbed and to keep cool a air conditioner.
The owner Andrea was very friendly and helpful and really couldn't do enough and was on the end of the phone if needed. There is also plenty of information at the villa on things to do and in case your not sure how things in the house work. We had days planned and walked down to the river which took 10 minutes and took the 9am KD line boat to Rudeshiem then the steamer back. We loved our stay here and will be coming back to Boppard at some point and will most definitely be staying here again. Why would you want to stay in a hotel when this villa offers so much more truly 5 star living but at a very reasonable price. Thank you Andrea and hope to see you again soon.

An Amazing place to stay
We stayed at Villa Bodobrica in October and had a wonderful time. The house is amazing, very modern but built into the old medieval city wall. Andrea was a wonderful host, taking us through the house to make sure we knew how everything worked. She was also very accommodating when we had to adjust our stay at the last minute. The spa room with its sauna was a welcome surprise. The villa is an ideal location for exploring the Rhine valley with all its castles. We took a day cruise down the Rhine with KD cruises. Cologne (Koln) is a short train ride away. There are many local restaurants - we enjoyed sampling schnitzel and bratwurst. Rewe is a supermarket with a great selection and a butcher.

Absolutely fabulous
The house is a gem. We experienced some confusion booking it through VRBO, but the owner Andrea was extremely friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We did not have phone service in Germany, and had not prepaid or provided a credit card because of the confusion with VRBO rental. Yet, based on Skype calls and emails, Andrea trusted us and was waiting for us at 9:00 pm on our arrival date despite living more than an hour from Boppard. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and exactly as described and shown in photos. Having the exposed ancient Roman wall as one of the side walls of the house made it unique and extremely beautiful. Boppard is a lovely town and the scenery is beautiful, and everything is walking distance from the house. There is free parking a couple of minutes walking distance from the house. While some people have commented on the train noise, we hardly noticed it and found it charming when we did. I have already recommended this house to family and friends. Thanks Andrea.
